- After winning both the 100m and 200m at the Olympic Trials, Noah Lyles is going into the Olympics as the favorite to win. Will Kenny Bednarek, Erriyon Knighton, or Letsile Tebogo be able to play spoiler?
You guys must have never heard about oblique Seville or Kishain thompson. These guys are jogging faster than Noah's PB in 100m.

Kenny B. totally surprised Noah coming off the curve. Complete determination at 150m. But the fact that Noah could instantly summon up a 19.53 to win without a lean is extraordinary. His speed maintenance and acceleration at top speed is part of his tool box. Give him his props.
Noah isnt running up on Kishane. Both him and Noah has a high top end speed so the usual run up that noah does aint going to work.

Noah Lyles ran 10.22 for the first 100 in the semifinals, I think he just had a bad start in that finals.

What hurts Noah is he’s racing specialists in both the 100m and 200m at the Olympics. Those 100m guys aren’t training or saving for the 200m and a lot of those 200m aren’t running the 100m. Bolt only had to face specialists in 2008 and he was the only healthy 9.72 runner in 100m everyone else: 9.92 up. In the 200m he was 19.6 to everyone else 19.86 up. The field is either too close to Noah or they’re ahead of him (Kishane, Ferdinand and Oblique). If Noah makes the 100m finals he might not medal in the 200m.
