I feel like Bridgit had her time in the spotlight, made some bops, realized that she didn't want to sell herself for popularity and settled down. Sis is real smart and ended up at MIT. She does some projects here and there but she seems content not being super famous. She stayed wholesome, happy and successful which is more than can be said for most child stars.

I think too often people measure success through charts and stuff like that. There are plenty of talentless people who chart high for various reasons. I think Bridgit is perfectly happy making the music she’s making. If she ever wants to come for the charts, she will.

I think one of the reasons why she didn’t blow up was because she’s a “good” girl. People love artists who go against the norms. Bridgit has a clean image and that’s one of the reasons why she didn’t become famous like other Disney artists. Ariana Grande also had that image in the beginning of her career as a solo artist and that’s why her earlier songs weren’t as famous as her new ones.

Nothing wrong with being sexy of course, but the industry pushes a sexy controversial image onto its talent because it's what grabs attention (and ultimately sells). For right or wrong, but at least not all artists are like this - good to have some variety of sexy/edgy and also wholesome pop stars and actors

There’s actually only 5 Disney shoes to go on for more than 3 season and most only shows only last around 86 episodes (give or take) so Good Luck Charlie was one of Disney’s biggest and longest running shows. I honestly expected her to my some as popular as Demi Selena or Miley seeing that (except Demi although her show would’ve gone on if she hadn’t been focused on her health which was for the best) were in the other biggest shows Disney had produced. Plus they’re all the same age and have nice voices. She had incredible potential

Her debut album “my name is...” went top 30 on billboard hot 200 and sold over 200,000 as of 2014. Hurricane was also certified gold in the US.

I think Bridgit Mendler was one of the best Disney Channel stars. Her appearance in Wizard's of Waverly Place elevated that show for me because of her character. And Lemonade Mouth is easily the best Disney Channel movie. It didn't feel too cheesy and had a mature and powerful message. Her music is also pretty good.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bridgette when I was younger as part of a field trip regarding marine life in Los Angeles. It amazed me how pale she was, like a snow queen. She was super sweet and took pictures with all of us and we got her autograph. This was I think before the third episode of good luck Charlie aired, so it was super cool meeting her and then seeing her on my tv. :)

Bridget Mendler was such a sweetheart and I remember meeting her when I was younger. She was incredibly charming and met back stage with several fans after doing a small show in my area. I remember all of us just vibing and talking about her tour and she was super personable.
