None of the electronics work at all, the 4x4 selector doesn't work, the rear brake disc has warped to failure 4 times, the gearbox is almost unusable by design. It is an utter piece of junk and the only reason I own it is because it was passed down to me. Always maintained at a high standard, just poorly build.
I've owned two Hondas built in the 1980s that ran like champs. The '84 Nighthawk 450 that I owned first was horribly maintained by the previous owner. I don't think the plugs had ever been changed... but it ran. And fairly well. FANTASTIC beginner's cruiser. The '80 CM400A I currently own has ran 40 years with basic maintenance. It's still easy for me to get service when I need it, and Honda's network of dealerships and service centers is unmatched by anyone besides perhaps Harley. I live in a small town (28,000). I have less than a mile ride to my local dealership, and if I'm on the road in my sparsely-populated segment of the rural midwest, I'm still never further than 60 miles from a Honda dealer. Reliability, availability, variety, and service. Total God-Tier brand.
If you take the reliability of Moto Guzzi's engines, it deserves a spot in the D cat. Seriously, they Guzzi engines are built like tanks. They are unkillable!

Within a 45 minute drive of where I live in the United States we have two Honda manufacturing plants, one produces engines and the other assembles cars. The assembly plant used to be the only plant in the world that built the Goldwing motorcycles. It goes without saying that around here people LOVE their Hondas, even the Harley guys appreciate them; and whats not to love about a brand that consistently produces reliable, durable, fast, and good handling motorcycles? But hey, I may be a bit biased, I do ride a Honda Magna 😁

YaggaYagga While the reliability doesn’t match the Japanese bikes, Ducati has gotten much better over the years with VW taking over. That said, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Calling Benelli an Italian motorcycle brand is an insult to all Italian motorcycles. All you get with the Benelli is cheap and heavily Chinese knockoffs and nothing which makes Italian motorcycles so good like a pure racing heritage, engine character and orgasmic attention to details and design.
Doik educate us. How is it supposed to be pronounced? When dealership advertisements literally pronounce it the way you phonetically spelled it we generally assume thats correct. So instead of just pointing out that we are wrong how about explaining the proper way to pronounce it.
Yamaha and Honda are synonymous with reliability and do offer a wide variety on 2 wheels on or off road. Both of which are priced well. I whole heartedly approve of HD as a bottom feeder. Nothing like spending an extra 5k for some electronics and 7 cu in too go from a RG to an RGS. They absolutely have been preying on the whole "American Made" (excluding VROD) and baby boomers wallets.
When you really dive into Honda's catalog from the Supercub to the RC213V, and all the championships they've won along with all the legendary riders that won it on a Honda. Absolutely nuts.
