Well for one, Ken’s English voice actor would basically be talking to himself a lot since he and Veemon share a voice.
Hey it'd save time and money in the recording studio since he could do the entire conversation in one go and only one person would need to come in instead of needing two people at once XD.
I can see Veemon being subservient, but a lot more bratty than Wormon was. He still follows Ken, but he will have his sassy comments in the background and pouting. Still loyal because he knows Ken can do better, but needs the support.
I could see him being an equal to Ken and volunteers for being tested on to grow stronger through digivolution
What if veemon had a digimon emperor Google that would be really cool right❗🏅😎😁🌟✌

So sad to hear about Philece passing away. She played one of my favorite characters in Mimi who I loved despite what the dub did with her at times and even came back to play her in Tri which made me smile. The sadder is Cody whom I loved even in the dub. He is my favorite 02 character and along with Daisuke (Sorry I refuse to use his dub name) and Ken they made a trio I loved so much and he was just such a well developed character with the themes of the seasons black and white and sea of grey mentality coming to form with him and Ken and later him and Owikawa. All adding together to make a sad goodbye to an actress I loved but I will still continue to love the roles she did and hope she can be happy in death just as much as she was in life

Who would you swap her with though? Ice, Light, Fire, Dark or Thunder? With any luck she'd get a beast from that wasn't just a more bird like version of the human spirit since it always annoyed me everyone else got a big aggressive looking animal form but Zephyrmon was still basically a human form. And then JetSiphlymon just looked a bit silly to me, no hate it just doesn't look like am impressive warrior to fear.
@@kitsu1379 I think Zoe would get light. If I remember right, Ophanimon was guardian of Light and Wind. With beast spirit of light, she could beast spirit evolve to mythological creatures, something like Quetzalmon.

@@Karn_EX A possible suggestion: give Emperor Ken a scary partner instead of a timid servant and have Devidramon as a dark digivolution that reverts to Veemon when he’s defeated.
@@Karn_EX something to remember If you do a story for the first Digimon adventure, Gladimon would be working for myotismon and kari would still get sick so that would mean neither Patamon nor T.K. would have a partner for a while
@@LiMe251 Or you could have D'Arcmon work for Myotismon, which would be funny considering the name and people hear Darkmon instead of D'Arc, plus it'd be interesting to see how you could have people and Digimon react to a literal angel Digimon being evil and you could still keep the cute friendship with Wizardmon and Kari's partner because not having the heartbreaking scene where Wizardmon sacrifices himself to protect Kari and her Digimon would really lesson the whole eighth child arc in my opinion.
Or have TK be the one who is sick instead of Kari, it actually would be interesting to see how Tai and Matt's actions change when the one who has the younger sibling to look at for at the beginning when they have no idea what's going on is switched. It'll be Tai that's constantly got to look out for and protect a younger siblings while Matt could be more bull-headed, stubborn and a bit more leap before you look.
@@EFlatPC That would be AWESOME!!!!!! It would also work really well if Veemon become Coredramon Blue because then you'd have DeviDRAmon and CoreDRAmon, be a neat little name tie in see there wouldn't be the Vee carry on in the names.
Strikedramon would make for a good champion for Ken's Veemon. Has similar design philosophy as Stingmon(big weapon hands, armored, red hair), and can still easily jogress into Dinobeemon.
And then in this AU 02 movie we'd get a DNA of GrandisKuwagamon + Alphamon

I can see Veemon being not helpful like Wormmon when Ken is evil. Wormmon was timid, but Veemon could be perceived as a Klutz that means well but keeps messing up so he's still like a good foil to Ken's deviousness ya know?
Since we have grandiskuwagamon as the replacement does this mean it would have a paladin mode kuwagamon?

Wait would it kind of already have it Grandiskuwagamon honey beemon mode like the honey beemons giving its power to Grandiskuwagamon just like how omegamon gave it's power to iperadramon fighter mode. like a group of honeybeemon gathered by tentomon champion form huddle together give them their power in the movie.
Plus if that Davis and Ken digimon swap did happen in the anime, Derek Stephen Prince would be the voice of both the human and his digimon partner

Maybe Takato could get wizardmon as his champion and fanboy over it since it's like the one from adventure. Then maybe the same eve line but maybe the cross wars designs as a way of showing the less demonic more warrior versions of Impmon at least mega form

Use the X Wars Ultimate in Reapmon definately but Keep Beelzemon and Beelzemon BM as he is in Tamers, his original design is so much better, which is probably the reason it's the one used in the Cyber Sleuth Games. Expecially if it's in the Tamer's timeline because that one looks more human like and less robotic and most (not MegaGargomon) of the Tamer's Megas are very human looking. Also there's way more detail and effort put into the Tamers Beelzemon and his BM then the X Wars version.
But yeah, if Takato got a Digimon somehow related to Adventure, even in a small but meaningful way like Wizardmon, of course he'd go gaga over it. But is it wrong that as much as I would love Takato to get teamed up with Impmon, I'd miss Impmon's humorous attempts to prove he's a lone wolf despite clearly wanting to be part of a group like the Tamers? Maybe instead of instant friends like Takato and Guilmon, Takato and Impmon don't get on too well at first due to clashing personalities and Impmon can wanna go it alone until he learns to trust Takato and then THAT'S when they get to digivolve, sorta like how Riku has to admit she actually cared about Renamon before she could get Kyubimon but more of the inverse since I don't think we've ever seen on the show a Digimon human team where it's the Digimon that doesn't want to work with their assigned human partner. But I stopped watching after Savers so I dunno.
Great video! Looking forward to your tamers video! I completely get why you left Davis and Ken together, but I could also totally see Davis and Yolei being great jogress partners… both of them have similar personalities and despite their constant bickering you can tell that they do have a close friendship. You could also blend Veemon’s dinosaur traits with Hawkmon’s (red) flying traits really well to make Examon… what else is a dragon but a flying dinosaur?
That would leave Ken with Cody (so sad to hear about Philece Sampler… I knew she was Mimi, but I never knew she was Cody too!!) which I think could also make an interesting pair. Both also have similar personalities, being quiet and shy/reserved and their big jogress moment could be the result of Cody forgiving Ken for his actions as digimon emperor. And for their jogress, I know you already used this in the first video with Mimi, but Armidillomon and Wormmon could join together to make a great armored insect digimon like Cannonbeemon and TigerVespamon.
Obviously either way I’d keep TK with Kari.
Again, great video, and if you made it this far, I’d also love to hear your thoughts on what the Adventure 01 kids digimon would armour digivolve into if they had their own crest’s digi-egg/digimental. I’d also love to see what your thoughts on giving Davis and Ken solo digivolution lines without jogressing, as in what would Stingmon become if Ken used the crest of kindness, and if Davis had the crest of miracles.

What if the 12 kids from the Adventure saga (02 included) had their partners evolved into the 12 Olympians?
Making Gabumon line all the way to Mercurymon, Palmon to Ceresmon and so on

Yolei and Armadilo mon work surpringly well. Her exuberance would work with his slower pace nature.
I always have fun trying to think of the ones you had most trouble with. For the fusion of Gladimon and D'arcmon, why not go with Grademon? He becomes more knight looking gets a similar color scheme of D'arcmon, and boom they could potentially become Alphamon perfect blend of a knight with golden angel-like wings like D'arcmon's! :D
Edit: And Gladimon, D'arcmon, and Grademon all duel wield blades. (Well D'arcmon has the option to do that anyways) XD

You forgot one Important detail: What about Paladin mode? Would we just get Grandkuwagamon Paladin Mode. Is GrandKuwagamon just one of the royal knights now?
I didn't forget it, Grandis just doesn't have a Paladin Mode or equivalent so it wasn't relevant because I'm not creating fanmade Digimon for this, just using what exists. If I was then yeah sure Grandis Paladin Mode but also a bunch on the list would have different, new evos lol

For Patamon and Tailmon jogress, they can just pretend it's a warp to Ultimate (Mega) because Tailmon is supposed to be Adult in the first place and Patamon to Angemon always felt like a skip to Perfect at least in terms of power level, even in the anime canon of S1 and S2.
It would only make sense for these 2 to skip straight to Mega. Also I mentioned warp to remind everyone again that it's a thing and, yes, Warp Jogress is not a thing officially but this isn't official anyway and it doesn't seem completely out of place. If anything it sounds very interesting for future thoughts about 2 powerful digimon combining and warping straight into Mega
The only Digimon I could really think of to be used instead of Holyangemon would Aegiochusmon: Holy, I think it works maybe a bit better but not much better
I feel like frontier would be interesting. Maybe instead of just explaining how the digimon would change talk about how the spirits would change the characters and MAYBE how the fusions/other forms change to match the respective user. Oh also give forms missing for other spirits like the evil fusions and like emperorgreymon equivalents
But yeah awesome video as always Karn! loving this to be a series and i should check out yer first one

Wanna see an Adventure AU with all these swaps but in general I wanna see swaps for Tamers, Frontier and Data Squad . . . because nobody cares about everything after that.
Data Squad would be tough though since for over half the season there's only 3 people on them team. So you'd probably give Marcus Gaomon, Yoshi Agumon (bad choice), and Tomas Lalamon (which would again be bad), or you include Falcomon earlier but the only two that make sense with Marcus' personality are Agumon or Gaomon. I suppose you could give Yoshi Falcomon and Keenan Lalamon but again, Lalamon just doesn't really work with anyone but Yoshi because even as a Rookie it's just such a feminine pokemon unlike Palmon.
I get Marcus' sister has a Biyomon but we've already got a second Agumon, do we really need another pink chicken on the same team?
Although... as I write this something occurs to me. The biohybrids. Instead of swapping rookies, swap the megas. Give the Data Squad main the the megas of the biohybrid they have their main fight with, so Marcus gets Darkdramon, Tomas get Lotosmon and Yoshi gets Spinomon then come up with Rookie - Ultimate lines that end up as those Megas and how those lines would work with their Data Squad partner. Not sure what you'd do with Keenan, he didn't get a Biohybrid rival so he's a bit of a loose end here... hmm...
Also side note: I know I said Lalamon being really feminine means she doesn't work with anyone but Yoshi and then said give Tomas one of the most feminine megas there are, but I like the idea of giving the main guys the Biohybrids as partners way more then I cared about Lotosmon's femininity being somewhat of a clash with Tomas. Plus Tomas goes on to become a Doctor and one of Lotosmon's staff is the medical twin spiral thingy.
Digimon data squad was a great switch❗
This is very cool ive watched a bunch of pokemon what ifs and i think this idea or possibly s story of other characters encounteribg digimon could be a amazing series
I could see Sethmon’s mask on Armadillomon’s body, probably would change the tusk and make the blades wider to make it more like an elephant.
I always thought it was pretty interesting that Paildramon and Dinobeemon are kind of a Gogeta/Vegetto situation.
While I do like the idea of Grankuwagamon and Grandiskuwagamon as bug equivalents for Imperialdramon's Dragon and Fighter mode, I personally like the idea of Dinobeemon's Mega being Tigervespamon. Though that idea would of course sacrifice the Imperialdramon parallels of a Mega with a quadruped and bipedal modes.

I know you were going for more a cohesive digivolution, but I think ThunderballMon and the Mamemon line would also be a good alternative for ArmadiMon + Yolei.
Excited to see who you’re swapping for the tamer’s team! I guess it depends on if you’re sticking to the original three or considering the extra Tamers who show up later. I feel like if you brought in Ryo he would fit well with Renamon, but also would be fun to see him swap with Takato and give Takato a Monodramon while he gets a Growlmon or WarGrowlmon if you wanna stick to him having an ultimate. Or stick with his colorway and make it a Black variant of the Guilmon line.
Please do a what if story series for this I'd love it a lot of us would

Coming back from your newest video, KausGammamon could be a good Champion for Ken's Veemon. And backing up to the Adventure 1 swap, I realized Ranamon would be a perfect Champion for Sora's Gomamon. You could also make a really good character arc for Ken by having *him* take the lead in the Jogress

I would love to hear your idea on an idea I had concerning the Digimon Adventures 02: what if the jogress evolutions used the armor digivolutions instead (like Flamedramon fusing with Pegasusmon or Nefertimon with Shurimon, etc.)? What would the new Digimon be? What would they look like?

For your Jogress ClavisAngemon issue: you could have still had ClavisAngemon but picked something that digivolved into it for the Ultimate.
Problem is ClavisAngemon isn't part of a confirmed line, he's never seen coming from something. He'd work tacked onto MagnaAngemon to replace Seraphimon, but so would SlashAngemon, however SlashAngemon comes from Shakkoumon funnily enough.

Medieval person seeing Hawkmon evolve with the Digi-Egg of Knowledge: Behold, a bird!
I think that a couple possible options for a DNA digivoultion between Gladimon and D'Arcmon could be either Duramon or Jazarichmon, although these aren't perfect fits either. Duramon had the sword-fighting armor vibe of Gladimon, but it loses the angel aspects of D'Arcmon. Jazarichmon is armored and has wings, but is more bird/dragon themed than angel themed. Still interesting options to consider I think.

I always thought it should have been Cody & Yolei and TK & Kari. Tk & Davis wouldn't have been bad either but Kari & Cody/Ken doesnt work. I also think Cody should have got the digiegg or reliability and sincerity. Yolei should have got love and knowledge I think it fits their attributes better. I also wish we got to see some of them use someone else's digiegg like Kari should have used the digiegg of courage at some point and Tk should have used the frienship one. Final point I never understood why Ken was the only one to get a crest and why it was kindness

Hm, once again, a very interesting Video and Idea, it seems like you had a easier time with this one than the last one,
Though it seems like there were some problems with mixing D’Arcmon and Gladimon, but it made me wonder, what about Gatomon and D’Arcmon?
Anyway, have you done the Tamers one yet?
Its okay about changing levels, lots of digimon change levels between continuities so ClavisAngemon could be Ultimate for this one.
I think grademon would be a really cool ultimate/perfect for patamon and plotmon/salamon
I think pteramon works as an armor evolution for yolei's armadillomon. Although I can agree that there is no love elements into its design, pterodactyl are related to birds and pteramon using the crest of love from the biyomon line in canon makes sense although that is probably just me.
Can't wait for you to do one that gives the kids entirely NEW partners because _oh boy_ do I have some crazy evolutionary lines to dump in that comment section one day~

Ups! I just suggested Goatmon as the Champion level for T.K.´s Salamon on the last video to make Devimon´s defeat a little more realistic.
Okay, so maybe Maildramon as the new Armor for Salamon and then Quetzalmon for Patamon, doing kinda the opposite of its actual Champion level with Patamon´s stubby little legs evolving backwards instead of outwards, while still looking kinda feminine, because Kari?
Also wouldn´t Sanzomon be cool as a DNA for T.K. and Kari and maybe a dark DNA to Mephistomon, especially if Salamon´s Champion really were Goatmon.

I always liked the idea of wormmon becoming Snimon. It has such a cold design but is overshadowed by a lot of the other bug champions.
12:45 That is true but keeping with the swaps from the first video what would be this universes version of Paladin Mode. would it be like Grandis Kuwagamon with some kind of sword or... idk. Since Karn suggested Alphamon as a possible Jogress of Ulforce V-dramon and DORUgoramon so maybe Barbamon(X-antibody form) could be this since it is one of Grandis Kuwagamon's digivolutions apparently? but that just seems too evil so maybe in this universe Grandis Kuwagamon mixed with Alphamon(or whoever) makes Chaosmon: Valdur Arm or something quite similar to this. It sounds like a bit of a stretch but Imperialdramon: Dragon Mode (black) digivolves into to this so I am kinda stitching the two. I would like to hear what everyone thinks.
I know I’m late to comment but these videoed did inspire me to make my own swaps for a fanfic idea. Haven’t written it but here we go for Davis with Wormmon and Ken with Veemon.
So since Stingmon had a more soldier or warrior look to his design, Veemon in my opinion should digivolve to Strikedramon and Wormmon as Davis’s partner should become Snimon, it mostly because ExVeemon has a more “animal” like appearance.
ExVmon was also if I remember correctly more of a brawler and Stingmon’s spikes now become blades.
Their shapes sadly don’t to well for DinoBeemon or Paildramon. But I’m much of a fan of my choice but it works but Jewelbeemon do to him keeping the insect like body but now looks like a warrior a soldier much like Strikedramon. And Gran Kuwagamon and Grandis Kuwagamon remaining the same.
