Banchostingmon is SO cool looking and has to be my favorite, but really I love all of them they're so fun!
I honestly really like them all but Bancho stingmon has to be my favorite, stingmon by himself is just one of my top favorites tho bancho golemon is up there too
I’m going to have to repeat this notion it’s definitely Banchou stingmon. Stingmon is one of my favorite Digimon so seeing it get another evo is always a plus from me. I would say that Banchou Lilimon would be second because of her reference to sukiban deka, I love the call back. And lastly, Leomon. Who doesn’t love Leomon? he’s cool, and being a Banchou fits him he would be cool as a partner.

For me, it's the BanchoOgremon I had designed by the very talented artist weirdomon :)
A couple new Banchos I would love to see would be BanchoTyrannomon, since MasterTyrannomon states he is a survivor of countless fights, which is perfect for the Banchos, and a Bancho based on a Rookie of some kind. Possibly a BanchoGaomon, since he's a boxer and could fit into that. A BanchoGazimon might be good too, bringing up the delinquent aspect Karn mentioned.
BanchoTyrannomon and BanchoTuruiemon are two digimon I wish we had.
Tyrannomon already explained as you said, but also becoming a wise master that is strong; but is less like a monster and more a powerful teacher.
While BanchoTuruiemon could be the new member Bancho; the young kid who proved her worth but still has a lot to learn and works under BanchoTyrannomon or another Bancho as a student or apprentice. It also makes sense since she is the champion form of Lopmon who eventually becomes an angel, just like how terriermon becomes a holy knight with the digi-egg of fate; so her becoming a Bancho would be that other line.
Plus Turuiemon is already a fighter with her tonfa and her bio pretty much is written like a Bancho itself! Sadly she's often overlooked by her other forms, so this would give her a popularity boost. Especially if she's revealed with BanchoTyrannomon!
I was sold right after Bancho tyrannomon but also bancho gazimon would bee pretty sick!
Also weregarurumon would fit well
MasterTyranomon deserves its own Mega, BanchoTyranomon would be a perfect fit!

I like to imagine the banchos trying really hard to be scary lone wolves but ending up just being friends who help other digimon
While I like this idea, they probably have individual territories they protect and preside over, and through turf wars with each other, probably wound up becoming acquainted and eventually teaming up to deal with whatever their rivals are, in the case of bancholeomon specifically, the D-Brigade.
There could just be a whole video of "making Mamemon variants make sense"
The Banchõ group should appear as a group some day in an anime or the webcomic. Maybe in some sort of first antagonist group necomign friends to the protagonists

That BanchoGolemon line is GREAT! I'm a huge fan of Gotsumon being Golemon's default Rookie, and Gogmamon is a great catch-all Perfect level for them, too. Also, I wonder if Alraumon could be the Rookie level for BanchoLillymon? That way, it differentiates itself from Mimi's line at both the Rookie and the Mega.
I'm glad I'm not the only one asking for Bancho Tyrannomon
I actually really like CatchMamemon becoming BanchoMamemon, because arcades are often the stomping grounds for delinquent characters. It's a really fun connection between the two.
I hope Digimon continues to make more Bancho Digimon. BanchoAgumon or BanchoGaogamon would be so fun. I'd personally love to see a BanchoMeramon - almost like Gankōmon without Hinukamuy
Violet Elecmon needs more representation, and it being the rookie to a Bancholeomon line, feels very fitting. I also think Leomon X could be an interesting choice for a champion, especially with the art of the new Promo Leomon X sitting alone on a battlefield. Probably more of a stepping stone between Leomon and Bancholemon, but it fits the lone fighter dynamic of the banchos.
One day I will have the money to straight up pay for a custom art video for "if Karn got to make his own digimon series, what new digimon would the digi destined in that series have"

It's funny you talked about really wanting to use Elecmon Violet while also having trouble choosing a Rookie for Thunderballmon, seeing as Ghost Game featured an Elecmon Violet evolve into a Thunderballmon.
Honestly we need more focus on the Banchos there a really neat idea that could do alot with.
For sure! Could totally see them as arc one antagonists (maybe irate at the thought of digimon getting stronger via humans instead of their own power) that eventually show up at the end as allies in the final fight or something, except that the fact they're so strong. Being final level would mean they would have to show up later.

What's very interesting about BanchoLillymon is that she's a massive reference to Saki from Sukeban Deka. It was a popular manga and live action television series from the mid 70s-80s.
Banchos are not really loners either, they're more of a leader of a group who would put their brothers above everything. It doesn't super make sense to have a bunch of leaders pictured together, unless you imagine all of the heads of rival gangs allied with each other... I guess?
The bancho digimon are still a really weird but awesome concept to me mainly the fact that their mega versions of digimon that aren't mega level either way their awesome designs

Really loved it, I especially agree with your thoughts on Bancoleomon and other Leomon lines. Trying to figure out individual lines for all the Leomon variants is something I've always loved doing.
bachoulilymon has to be both one of the coolest and cutest digimon design. It was such a shame we did not get her on the mamemon episode for mimi's palmon.

I've recently started getting back into Dinotopia, which is a franchise that hasn't really gotten a lot of attention, and is ironically in the shadow of the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World franchise despite both franchises having dramatically different different theming and vibes; Dinotopia is a franchise that's all about exploration and discovery on this island Dinosaurs, and a few other prehistoric animals (mainly from the same time period as the Dinosaurs), are actually thriving and have had several dinosaurs reach a state of enlightenment to the point they actually were able to domesticate the humans that eventually started washing up on the island for who knows how long. Dinotopia began to as a book series that came out around the same time as the original Jurassic Park movie, and later authors added on to what was in the original 4 books by James Gurney (an artist who is the author of the original Dinotopia books) with books intended for teens, there were also a few computer/video games put out but most them kind of fell short of the spirit of Dinotopia, there was also a miniseries in 2002 that loosely adapted the source material, and an animated movie in 2006 that was more geared towards younger viewers.
So, this would be a little different, but still in Karn's wheelhouse. What would a Digital World version of Dinotopia look like? What sort of things could we expect from a place like that?
The BT13/EX5 BanchoLeomon line is the one it was originally designed with in the vpets.
Also, I like Lalamon-Togemon-Lilymon for BanchoLilymon, makes me think of the sausage nunchaku scene.
As a goof back in the 2010s I hit random on Wikimon to determine who my partner would be and I got Thunderballmon. For years I've stuck with that assignment and that perseverance paid off when Bancho Mamemon was released.

I really wish we get the rest of the Bancho line in the next Story. Bancho Lillymon appeared in ReArise, Bancho Mamemon in Adventure 2020 and Bancho Stingmon is a main mega for one of the characters.

Nice video, personally for the evolution lines video, I would like to see the mamemon line. Going off your Bancho line and new century, the rookie and champion are Kokuwamon and thunderballmon. CatchMamemon evolves into BanchoMamemon in your video, BigMamemon becomes PrinceMamemon which happens in New Century, Mamemon becomes TonosamaMamemon as mentioned in the reference book, and MetalMamemon becomes Lampmon which happened in New Century. Oddly enough, MetalMamemon has become CresGarurumon in the 20th anniversary and color edition of the original digivice and was hinted in the card game in booster back three. Also, you could do prediction line video for Digimon Liberator.

Even before this video, I had designed my own evo lines for BanchoGolemon and BanchoLillymon for RP characters and funny enough, we both had the same idea for BanchoGolemon with his line being Gotsumon to Golemon, Gogmamon, and BanchoGolemon. One of the reasons I went for Gogmamon over something like Meteormon was, well aside from not wanting a Gotsu varient as the Ultimate, Wikimon notes an interview about the Pendulum Z that had a developmental name for Gogmamon as "Grand Golemon" so the connection fits even better that way imo.
For BanchoLillymon though, my line I went with was Floramon, Sunflowmon, Lillymon, then BanchoLillymon to be a bit more distinct from the main Rosemon line though I had also considered Kiwimon as the Champion for a similar purpose.

Bancholilymon line makes sense due to the episode where rosemon appears in adventure 2020 has it fight against a banchomamemon who went to the same school
I had a few months ago thought about how Leo -> Bancho Leo would be stylized. I imagined Leo would appear in a locker room, say "Leomon Warp Digivolve to..." punch through a locker door and grab a coat, becoming a white silhouette as he pulls it over him. While he's a white shape he grows to the correct height then pulls the hat from the out and puts it on his head. We then see him in a ring as he knocks out a bunch of indistinct figures, ending with him slamming his fists together as he says "Bancho Leomon"
Maybe the the "baseform" of a Bancho Digimon is most likely to become a Bancho. But every variant could do if the conditions are perfect.
I'm personally a fan of Solarmon/Hagurumon being a pre-evolution of BanchoMamemon, especially Solarmon since BanchoMamemon's bat attack are called Golden Rush, which fits into Solarmon's golden & spherical appearance.

I would say that the Banchos aren’t like a team, but more of 5 rivals that come together once in a while to fight, party and mess things up. They would deeply respect each other, but come from rival groups as well. Then, when a bigger threat than their turf wars break out, they would do their jobs as bosses and protect their gangs by joining forces.
Ive always seen bancho evolution like a champion level digimon being under certain condition abd then going super saiyan
Apparently, one of the games has BanchoLeomon as a DNA Digivolution of GrapLeomon and Pandamon, whichhas probably become my favorite "Ultimate" form(s) for BanchoLeomon. I think the Liamon-through-LoaderLeomon-to-BanchoLeomon thing is a holdover from a V-pet, while the card game probably ended the traditional Leomon line on HeavyLeomon as a ReArise reference.
I think thinking of BanchoMamemon's Ultimate as a perhaps Ghost Game-esque thing where there are multiple Ultimate forms all converging on one Mega is a good move. It's like how Gammamon has a bunch of Champions, must of which just convergently Digivolve to Canoweissmon.
BanchoLillymon just replacing Rosemon in the Adventure Palmon line seems pretty straightforward to me. Like, Togemon is on her yo-yo and everything. I agree on the straightforward BanchoStingmon line too.
I also struggle with an Ultimate for BanchoGolemon, but Gotsumon is definitely my favorite Golemon Rookie thanks to Hacker's Memory.
Good stuff! I actually almost like the Gotsumon/Golemon/Meteormon/Banchogolemon line. I do prefer a linear "upgrade" style on digievolutions, but there's some charm in the subversion of having an evolution that becomes smaller, super similar to the rookie, but still with the power of an ultimate. I can almost imagine how that could make for a pretty funny scene on an anime episode. And you do get the clearly more powerful and very cool evo and the end, so it would be fine as a one time novelty.
Gazimon probably works just as well for BanchoLeomon's rookie already having that delinquent nature to it.

Honestly the only Digimon I thought you would use that you didn't was that of Alraumon. It's a Palmon recolor but with it's purple almost dead flower at the top it kinda looks like a perfect punk palmon to eventually become Bancho Lillymon.
These are all perfect the only thing I would add is Alraumon and Ponchomon in a vpet style tree for BanchoLilymon since they're more bad /badass forms of Lilymon's preevos. And maybe evenn Oleamon for an alternate perfect.
The most commonly implied BanchoLeomon in the card game is also the one from the Accel, so I think that is "official"...even though Grap to Bancho and Loader to Heavy makes a lot more sense.
I feel like Antylamon should have a Bancho mega digivolution, instead of happy Cherubimon

I agree with all of the lines and they're roughly equal to mine as well, but I think you should've mentioned, for completeness' sake, the Survive line for BanchoStingmon: Kunemon > Flymon > Jewelbeemon > BanchoStingmon.
Also BanchoLeomon has its Burst Mode, it would be neat to see those for the rest too, even if BanchoLeomon BM was obviously a rushed design for a single scene in the anime.

Hey Karn!! Some interesting video ideas for you. What if the Adventure 1 digimon received burst mode? What if the Adventure 1 mega digimon had beast/human forms? Like Seraphimon to Goldramon or Ophanimon to Magnadramon, etc...
I’d like to see some more Bancho Digimon. Karn already did a video on turning the Season 1 Mons into Bancho so why not the rest of the seasons?
I think another good pick for the rookie of bancho stingmon is flybeemon. I know hes technically an armor but in tamers he was shown to be about rookie level and had no crest on his forehead.
A bit irrelevant, but even though Elecmon is more associated with Leomon, I honestly like it going to BlackGarurumon to Shadow WereGarurumon to Mercurymon of the Olympos XII a lot more. Especially because of its markings, and they remain a consistent motif throughout this line
Sunflowmon has a lot in common with Palmon and Togemon has a lot in common with Lalamon.
Digimon Hyper Colosseum uses Mamemon, Meteormon, Lilimon and Jewelbeemon for BanchoMamemon, BanchoGolemon, BanchoLilimon and BanchoStingmon respectively while BanchoLeomon can evolve from LoaderLeomon, Tankdramon or GrapLeomon. Past this it gets a little murky.
I kinda like: Alraumon > Ponchomon > Oleamon > BantyoLilimon
Chikurimon is perfect as a Mamemon Rookie.
BantyoGolemon is a bit frustrating to me cuz there's overlap with the Blastmon line.

The idea of "Bancho" being a title sounds like they're just capable of warp digivolving from the original Digimon or any member of their species.
But if BanchoLeomon needed a line, then GrappLeomon should definitely be the "missing link" between Leomon and it, LoaderLeomon is definitely a better fit for HeavyLeomon, even if GrappLeomon theoretically could also work there, but GrappLeomon is also already, or for now, kinda the inbetween to Grizzmon and Marsmon according to DW3, so I feel it might already be pulling too many lines together. I also like the idea of Elecmon Violet as a Rookie that's more "delinquent", although with Leomon generally being such a righteous Digimon, I feel if an Elecmon Violet like that were to evolve into Leomon it'd already earn the "Bancho"-name in a second and thus warp digivolve to BanchoLeomon... so perhaps it works a bit too well?
BanchoMamemon luckily needs no "missing link", since all members of the Mamemon-species are already either Perfect- or Mega-level, and thus any preferred line TO Mamemon works, with Thunderballmon being the most common and logical one.
BanchoLillymon also just immediately comes from Lillymon, so no problem there, so typical Lillymon-line again, although I'd also like to put in a word for Sunflowmon or even Pucchiemon as alternate option Champions... still with Palmon as Rookie.
BanchoStingmons line is also super elementary, from what I recall JewelBeemon and BanchoStingmon got introduced together, so they're definitely part of the same line... and Stingmon OBVIOUSLY has to be in there, so ez... although thematically, I have to say I don't like JewelBeemon to Stingmon, this soldier-like insect-man to the lone wolf vigilante Bancho... but there's not really any better option I could suggest, I feel, so that's just how it is.
And nothing much else to say on BanchoGolemon, just completely agree.

wow pretty close to what i had as the rookies for them cept for lilymon i used aruraumon and fir sting mon i used kunemon (this was before survive came ou) the context is that in a digimon ttrpg i was running the the bbeg’s of the campaign stole the power from the banchos to digivolve leaving the banchos as rookies

Bancho Veemon as a rival to Bancho Stingmon.
Bancho Garudamon as a teacher like role for hawkmon to digivolve to a ultimate level like how Bancho Leomon taught the team in savers.
A water based bancho like seadramon or the ikkakumon line. Maybe to give the armors a evolve to ultimate.

My lines are pretty similar, but I really like Spadamon for BanchoLeomon. It's such an underutilized rookie and its appearance lends itself well to the Leomon line's brave warrior image. For BanchoLilimon, I think that I prefer Ponchomon. Rather than being a proper boxer that wears gloves to dampen its blows, it's more of a street brawler that wears handwraps to make its punches stronger. I had the same ideas for the other lines.
I would love a Digimon series (either anime or manga) where the protagonist team is all delinquents who are in detention (think breakfast club) in the schools computer lab and they get connected to the digital world and all of them have the Bancho Digimon. Digimon Rebels, perhaps?

I actually like Gogmamon better as the stage between Golemon and BanchoGolemon, but I think another ultimate that would fit well is Volcamon. Actually now that I think about it, it's a bit surprising that the far less popular Golemon got a bancho form instead of obvious creator favorite, Volcamon. We could have even gotten a new Volcano Ota outfit out of it!
