Between being outed and Japan’s new tax laws coming into effect, there’s definitely gonna a least be some kind of change. To summarize, up until now animators and voice actors haven’t had to pay taxes because they fall under the cap of how much income requires you to file for invoices. So it’s only the studio that pays it. But as a consequence animators and VAs make extremely little and get horrendous work environments under the radar. Now though, as of 2024, companies must provide invoices for all employees. So that means that there’s gonna be a huge thinning of talent in the industry as many might leave looking for a better paying job knowing they won’t be to make enough for taxes and necessities. MAPPA and other studios will be desperate to retain their employees. So in order to keep them around, they’ll have to start making better available pay, benefits and working conditions for employees to wanna stay. Either that or go bankrupt as your business goes belly up. This might also mean that hiring temps for last minute crunch might start to become a thing of the past. This will naturally start to affect the productivity of the anime itself as studios will be forced to choose between quality or quantity. Deadlines, budgets and workloads will probably fluctuate throughout the year for all kinds of IPs as they try to figure things out and adjust. But that’s essentially what’s going down. Is this a good change? Hard to say. We’re kinda oversaturated on anime right now, a lot of it not being high quality and more meh in nature. A little thinning could probably do the industry some good. It’ll probably get bad before it gets better. And it’ll be a gradual change. But I think by the end it’ll all work out. As for MAPPA themselves, between that and the bad publicity as everything is out in the open now, they’re gonna have to make some good changes for the employees benefit if they wanna stay in the good graces of their consumers. Cause if things get bad enough for us to boycott them, then their investors lose interest and look elsewhere. And if the investors go, they loose their money. Such as the circle of life.
0:36 The way sukuna pose is just SO COOL HIS EXPERISSION EVEN LOOKS SERIOUS. HERE.and I'm thinking he might learned karate because he fights like karate- i mean when tries to punch yuji in season 1 it was karate pose and in this scene it is also karate pose and whike he was figuting gojo. He was literally wearing a karate dress 🥋💀
There are multiple Martial Arts with that stance, and Sukuna doesn't use any specific style, he uses a free-style martial art. Karate is not practical in street fights, and 90% of JJK is just overpowered street fights. He's an insanely good close-quarters fighter, but he doesn't use Karate, and Karate wasn't founded until the Taisho Era, which is only about 100 years ago, so there's no way he would've learned it considering Heian era was over a thousand years ago.
They release another few episodes on bluray in Japan every month. They're slated to finish in late May. Then we'll have to wait for the full official global bluray release which will come in two parts most likely just like season 1. Earliest I'd say June? Will they release part 1 first for everyone then part 2 like end of summer?Until then, you'll have to torrent the Japanese bluray. Edit: To be clear, i'm referring to the global release with multiple audio dubs you can get at a retailer. The Japanese bluray is already out.
