Why do I have a feeling I ordered the wrong stuff for my particular situation lol. I ordered a tube of this Permatex Muffler and Tailpipe Sealant cause I wanted to fill in a small gap where the muffler connects to the header pipe on my motor bike so no exhaust fumes would escape without going thru the muffler. I assumed I could just spread this stuff around where they connect and that would be it. It was either I buy this or the muffler cement. Hopefully this works out so I didn't waste my money. We shall see.
Did it work? I was gonna order it for the same reason. Aftermath exhaust leaks where the tail pipe and muffler connect to each other.
What temperature range is best for high quality applications of your product? After looking over the entire contents and the box itself, I still cannot find anything about recommended temps. I live in Central New York and it is currently below freezing outside! 🥶 I need to know that this will hold before I even attempt to apply it!
Damn mine as well get it welded with all that.
How soon can I drive after I apply it?
Oh, Come on, Jeff. You *very well know* you're gonna be Lazy Leonard & just do *whatever* & then its *just gonna fall right off!* Stop wasting everybody's time, man, & call a welder. Ask him how long til the Glue gets hard on the car.
