Now, now, hold on. He has a point. Im an android user, but I like both companies, such as Apple and Samsung. I dont really care. I like the camera design on the iPhone 12 and up, and the fact they're adding USB-C, as it is way more helpful. You can't just say, "Oh, i think the Samsung S23 is better than the iPhone because of this and that" without proof. Let this man speak. He has a point. I currently use a Samsung S23+, Tab A (2016) and whatnot, but I still want an iPhone, just because of the style, and I want an unusual experience. Im glad Apple is moving to USB-C. it's a good idea. Im, however, mostly an Android person as I like them for how they work and how practical they are. If only we could "actually" know what's better. Anyway, man, keep making vids and dont let anyone tell you what you shouldn't and should do, I support you!
Finally an android user that is fair and not toxic like me
@@riiku01 yeah.
I like android more since a few years but i cant get the s23 ultra because the form of it is so annoying to me, i dont like the edges and the size of it so i didnt buy it and probably will get the iphone 15 pro even if it isnt that good as the s23 ultra
@@13hubi13 do whatever you like
I would never consider ios as I can't stand modify home screen, hard to transfer files between Windows, doesn't support aptx wireless Bluetooth codec, couldn't install modded apps, etc..
My experience has been that most casual iPhone users are blissfully unaware that faster charging is available on other devices. Heck, I didn't know until like a year ago. When Apple finally does it, users will be impressed because they don't even consider other phones.
True most features that come come as a surprise to them where as we have already seen and experienced it.
I think your wrong on this one my guy. Most people know that Android phones have faster charging, but they are not leaving Apple or the ecosystem for it! Get it? They will simply just wait for it because it’s a nice to have, but not that serious.
I’m an iPhone user and I wanna switch to 6 pro so bad
@@beans_are_yummy that’s you.
@Aggie4life77 I feel like the only open minded iphone user
Bro, You made me switch from iPhone to Samsung. I used to own an iPhone 13 Pro but after watching you for like a month, I switched to my Samsung S22 (now S23 Ultra) and man I FUCKING LOVE IT
Glad you like it!
same
@zxa_1205 how was your experience with the 13 pro?
Nice
S23 models are all amazing but..
How the hell did you love the s22 the battery Is trash and the animations were glitchy for months and may still be because 2 processors means less optimisation.. but an s23 can have the stability and reliability of a console like a ps5 or an iPhone
The action button is a neat addition, although you're right that it's not entirely groundbreaking. Still, having an extra programmable key is always handy.
Agree on the A17 Pro naming. It got me thinking maybe there will be a standard and plus size SE as the new base models. Then have a Pro and Ultra/Pro Max model?? Or possibly the rebranding idea with the A17 pro being A18.
I'm going to love the action button, I use the double tap on my pixel fold all the time for my flashlight. Quick flashlight is lovely
A mute switch was really good
The cable you get in the box of the pro models does not support the higher data transfer speeds in order to get that you would need to purchase an additional cable.
Love the long form content, Keep it up!
Honestly I couldn’t agree with you more when you say you would prefer the 5x on the regular pro form factor!
Why no one talks about this: we are in 2023 and even 300 dollar phones have high 90 or 120 hz refresh rate but vanilla 15 series are still stocked on 60 hz whereas it's now 3 years pro series have 120.
And it is using USB 2 instead of 3. If the non pro variant has 90hz refresh rate, I'd get it. I didn't need what pro model offer.
Welcome to the iPhone world 😂
Americans don't care 😉
talked about it just ppl didn't want to hear it. "we;re buying the software not hardware" welp..
going for the base model of apple product is a bad decision for me, either saves up and goes to the pro series or just go with android flagship instd
@@nickwong2525who the f uses usb 3 if they bought base model? like if you buy something for job buy pro not base
Great video, really njoyed listening to your perspective to the all new iPhone 15 ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Even android guy is defending data speed transfer in iPhone 15 base model. What a world we live in.
I mean it's really just for using 1 cable across all devices, that was the main goal, + most people buying that phone wont be transferring data like that
because most people dont need that, and most dont care. Not important
If you have an Apple ecosystem with a MacBook and iPhone, you will never need to transfer data with a cable anyways. AirDrop is just as fast with a direct 5Ghz connection between devices.
@@TylerN945 which makes the apple products sucks even more. A simple data transfer across different platforms and OS is a pain.
@@dumm005 Hate to burst your bubble, but you can’t mount an android file system to macOS either lol.
if you want to transfer files between an iPhone and Linux machine, or an android and a macOS machine, you’re going to have to SSH either way.
Parker, why do i have a feeling you're low-key gonna switch to the iphone. If you switch to the iphone, it's over for Android.
Don't worry, I could never
@@imparkerburtonhopefully
@@imparkerburtonJust came across your channel. I like your energy.
I am actually very interested to know of your experience once you receive the 15 Pro Max on the 22nd.
Coming from someone who was a Nokia => Motorola => Sony Ericsson => Sony XPERIA (Android) person before my first iPhone, 5S.
It'll be interesting to see the charging speed when the test units go out. The 14 Pro max could charge at 27W even though it was only advertised to charge at 20W so who knows if the 15 Pro Max will charge at 27W or more? TBH it doesn't bother me either way since I just slap my phone on my Belkin 3in1 Magsafe charger when I'm in bed and then it generally lasts a whole day. On the off chance that it doesn't last a whole day and I need a top-up, I have my Magsafe Momax battery bank.
Xiaomi phones have way faster charging speeds than iPhones.
@@IlhamiD90 Yes they do. Are you going to buy one?
@@The.JZA. I already bought a Xiaomi 13. Overall a great phone. 😊
@@IlhamiD90 Yeah it looks like a good phone. I used to have a Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra and it was a great phone but I really don’t like Android so I went back to iOS.
Also you forgot to mention that you can program a shortcut to the action button which is HUGE imo.
He just described the features of 1phone 15, what was the android user pov in it ?? like what will an android user miss in iphones like call recording, installing external apks, etc. What will an android gain through iphone like better camera, updates etc.
Gets 7+ years of software updates for iPhone
The Action button can do most of the same things that back double tap and triple tap any many more.
Innovation has slowed down to such a point that now it seems apple is withholding features, even when they could technically add them right away, so that they have something to update on their next year's iphones. All because they just know people are going to buy iphones anyway.
Honestly i have tried the iphone 14 pro, and let me tell you switching from an android to ios idk why theres something about the feeling of using that phone feels so- premium, it is so solid. Love the size as well actually. Also It doesn't lag at all, it built like a brick, like the build quality is honestly one of the main reason why i like it, it feels so good to use and hold. Different from any phone I have ever used. The software is also something i actually prefer over android (maybe because i have been using android for so long switching to something new actually feels refreshing) love the always on display as well lol.
And i game on phones more than pc, the optimisation on ios is amazing honestly compared to android (and its also coming from s23 ultra as well)
But I ended up switching to samsung s23 ultra because of the pro camera option and using apk :P
Careful, android users will label you sheep now
why would you switch
@@MrKrabsMeatyClaw That goes for both sides haha.
Pure placebo effect, you expected yourself to feel premium because that's what the iPhone is marketed as
@@sirsilva7079 lmao denial
What about drag and drop function when connecting iPhone 15 to PC via USB-C, for data transfer?
Samsung already has a feature where you can get portrait photos taken by regular photos. This has been i think the 2nd or the 3rd Gen of the feature on Samsung. .
Holy crap, I never noticed that until I saw your comment!
Yes, but I believe the difference is that the iPhone actually captures the depth data when the photo is originally taken, while Samsung just analyzes the photo afterwards to create a depth effect. (I haven't found specific information on this, but I think that's how it is.)
@@imparkerburtonyou are correct, thats how it is and saying Samsung added this years ago is misleading
@@alsaadchowdhury7672it does the same exact thing, just using a different method
@@imparkerburtonyes, the 15PM can change focus after the image has been captured, the s23u can only add bg blur and no changing focus.
Parker, what's that laptop I see behind you?
You're right, the USB 2.0 speeds on the lower spec iPhones are not gonna transfer over a cable lmao. It's an SoC limitation anyway. Let's hope they don't articifically limit on next year's models.
What is your camera setup?!?
Like you said about the USBC speed and the average customer not caring about speed of the cable is the exact same way the average customer does not care about 120hz because you can’t really notice the difference.
Give the average mom & dad 2 different phones and I guarantee they won’t notice the difference in screen refresh rates.
I actually like that they kept the 3 times zoom on the pro. Maybe I'm in the minority but I use 3x more than 5x. Now when I use my Samsung s23 ultra I use the 10x lens a lot. But 5 seems like an awkward in between.
I can’t remember the last time I transferred data over a cable.
How did you get that wallpaper and those icons?
You forgot about the dynamic island on all models. That a huge feature and everyone loves how it animates when you are using it
The DI takes all the background activity you're running, & rather than keep it hidden up in the notifications area ready to view when you swipe down, it's on the display blocking even more content that the notch did. Seems more like a way of doubling down on the notch's intrusion on the display instead of giving users more screen real-estate back.
The fingerprint on front camera looks amazing
@@Lee.S321bro I have a 14 pro and you can just swipe left or right on it and it disappears
Dynamicspot on android replicates it
Iphone : we have dynamic island
Android : indisplay notchless phone and popup camera
The charging speed thing makes sense to me. Less stress on the battery.
Yup, that’s what I was gonna write. I rarely had the problem that I needed to charge my phone within 15 mins
The action button is so old that everyone hated Samsung for adding the functionality because it used to be only for Bixby and eventually everyone rejoiced when they removed it even though it had become programmable
@BonJoviBeatlessLedZep The Action button on the iPhone 15 and Apple watch ultra is literally a recycled and "inspired by Samsung's Bixby button" button.
Didn't they remove the programmable Bixby button & incorporate that functionality into the programable power button? I just leave mine set to the default 'press once for power options, press twice to open the camera', but in settings you can set it to launch any app you want.
The S21 Ultra used a multi-fold prism periscope and that was why its range was longer than the S22 and S23 Ultra (240mm vs 230mm). The S22 and S23 reverted back to a single-fold periscope for the 10X, but gave those lens modules the benefit of less chromatic aberration. Apple wasn't the first one to do a multi-prism periscope, but for some stupid reason they are getting the credit of being the first. (Source: czcams.com/video/FzshLMEVbrU/video.html --- GALAXY S21 ULTRA UNTOLD STORES: CAMERA)
Many idiots also think that Apple came up with two cameras in a phone or that they released the first smartphone with a fingerprint sensor. In 10 years they will also start talking nonsense that Apple was the first to introduce Type C. Apple has been able to present everyday things that are on Android for a long time as innovation.
@@vahagobidze and the worse part is that the mass media is on their side .. and the headlines they publish always make it look like apple did it first
@@trevourlance27 This is all true, but ios does indeed have more fluid animations and better performance. Better app optimization as well. I have an s22 ultra right now. I am an android guy. I'm not lying. My girlfriend has one. I'm considering an iphone honestly, but realistically I think android is just a better value with more freedom and features. My point in bringing these things up is just that there is a value. Are iPhones probably overrated? yeah. They're still pretty cool though I have to admit.
@@hobosnake1wont lie i do own both an s21 ultra and an iphone 14 pro and i get what you mean
I noticed that the main camera lens moves forward and backwards as you change the focal lengths. I think that is not cropping, and it really changes the focal lengths by moving the lens.
The only thing stopping me from going to iPhone is that 60hz refresh rate on the non pro variant. Can't justify getting the pro variant just for that higher refresh rate.
That’s what holding me I think.. I have an iPhone X for like 4 years now also 60hz don’t know what to switch to..
@ByTrizzz i don't need the features that pro models offer so i definitely would love to see the base model having at least 90hz.
Parker, I have this question for a long time:
Where are you from?
I'm all pixel ❤ fingers crossed pixel 8 series will be legendary. #teampixel
If the chip is good, it will be a serious contender to iPhones and Galaxies.
Pixel 4 owner here, soon to be Pixel 8 owner 💪🏽 #teampixel
The major thing I need from Pixel is a proper chip with proper efficiency and thermal management. Also, get rid of that stupid glossy back and is it really that hard to offer uniform bezels ffs? I like how practical and straightforward their software is. That being said, I'll likely switch to iphone 15 if they don't get it right this time especially overheating when on cellular data (haven't noticed this since the last 2 updates but I doubt it's gone).
*I feel like Google has what it takes to challenge Apple, I've seen glimpses of this but for some reason, it's not yet happened. By challenge, I mean compete, I personally believe serious competition, like having 5 major players go neck and neck, is very good for the consumers.
Power button double tap can be programmed to anything. Action button is a gimmic
I currently i have an iPhone 14 plus and yes i do miss the 120 hz on android this is my first iphone but the screen is beautiful but o really miss 120 hz and AOD 😢
I have been a lifetime android user, got a 15 pro max as my first iphone. I am actually really enjoying it. If apple had more customisation I would give it a 10/10
what do you rate it with the reduced customization factor? I'm on an s22 ultra snapdragon, which is a great phone, but a little choppy feeling in fluidity compared to other samsung devices I've used. Nowadays I don't pirate things. I don't play around with android customization. I'm heavily considering iPhone. Are you impressed with the animations and general feel of using the thing?
@@hobosnake1how are you feeling choppy in those machine.. your s22 is even on snapdragon . My S21 exynos still running well without any jitters
@@hobosnake1I see you didn't get a respond. I'll give you on based on the 15 pro that I have. Customization is more limited on the iphone, like email notification is a little wanky because they are on but doesn't show, but overall the phone is great with reachablility settings similar to samsung. But yet no one handed keyboard use. When on the keyboard you find all the "123-:;?()[]" Icons on a second tap, while samsung have a feature to hold on certain letters to get the one you need up.
But if you can lay all that aside, and just blankly try the iphone its a neck to neck experience. You can easily use iphone face id with ease, even in the dark
[P.S I have the s23 as well]
If the unbox therapy had a brother , this guy would be one

I never pull any cables from iPhone box. Why?
IPhone actually has the tapback feature has been on Iphones for years that you can program just like you can with new action button now. Personally I think they should've just left it as a mute switch.
May I know the mic model bro ? Thanq
not sure why with the multiple focal lengths they couldn't just use optical zoom instead.
Here we go again with the “but we have”
I suspect they called it pro because of the rumor that the base model iphone 16's chip will not be the same chip even if it might use the same architecture
As an Android user for over 13 years since Android 1.6 Donut, iPhone is a good temporary replacement when Qualcomm and Samsung fucked up (SD 820, 888, SD 8 Gen 1 overheating issues)
Apple always made their iPhone free from overheating issues.
Bro that thumbnail iz funny as hell Lmaooo
I'd love to hear your perspective on it tbh. I've been team android for 13 years now (good ol' eclair days), but Apple's hardware and iOS have come far. I would love to own both phones but my lifestyle can't affrod it. Plus I can't ever switch to iOS until they have a proper file management system, usb-c on-the-go and 256GB as base storage.

Its fucking insane how under understood the processor upgrade is. This is a godsend for all computer companies that produce cpus, period. This is not just an upgrade for phones, they went for power efficiency with the cpu. They are NOT using the full power of it, EVER, yet it is STILL ALMOST the strongest (base size) chip in existence. If used at full, I personally believe that this chip, which should be bad compared to gaming setup chips, can outperform them in specific scenarios.
Keep in mind, while this tech is POSSIBLE, its not exactly useful yet, as most cpus in actual computers have much larger transistors and will not go down as small as the iphone, within the next decade in my opinion, however the possibily of it is seriously insane.
This chip CANNOT outperform desktop chips, in ANY scenario. Omg shut up 🤦
i went from a OnePlus 7 pro to the iphone 15 pro im pretty happy with my purchase. i use WhatsApp a lot and OP7Pro had an issue with the sensor so im gland thats over.
please, I would like you to do a video on Redmi note 13 series

I'm an Android guy but i also don't like the background music ❤
I feel like the action button will be pressed on accident a lot but we shall see
20W is SLOWWWW
They could have gone for at least 45W...damn I guess that's for the next upgrade lol
I notice that the people commenting on CZcams videos seem a lot more mature than the comments you get on shorts. definitely release some apple videos here so you get less hate from the hardcore android cult. (Both are good in their own ways)
I'm early. There's nobody up in arms about feeling "betrayed" yet. Lol
Where is the secret box?
They didn’t say anything about type C because they were forced to use it! If it was in Apple’s hand they will continue the lightning port 4ever
I think next years iPhone will get an A17 Processor. It will be the A17Pro without the USB-3 Controller.
I still think 30W isn't as slow as techie guys make it look like. I use old phone with 18W capable. And it hits top wattage just for few minutes and tapers off gradually after that. 50% in about 30minutes for the iPhone is completely fine
Well, the 15PM takes over 1.5h to charge, when phone like s23u with 45W take less than an hour.
Also, I also have 33W phone, but faster can be better especially at 999£.
I'm using my iphone 11 pro and I'm still not convinced in upgrading.
Android user here switching to normal 15. So i've been an android user for ~8years and iphone for ~3. I've had Samsungs, OnePlus, Xiaomi & Sony and now going to apple. Why? Because it's the most logical decision for MY needs (a longlife simple yet quite function savvy phone). All have pros and cons and you will change you phone brand in life due to your NEEDS changing. All are great but not necesarily for you. So when making a choice, choose what suits your needs today & don't go overboard just because 'I nEed Ultra or ProMax', because honestly 95% don't actually need them. Make a decision based on actual needs. Have fun y'all! Peace!
Same here been with Sony and Samsung and I only had iphone 3g and then iphone 6 and since left and currently have s20 ultra and only had it over 2 years and the quality sucks back and front cracked and I never cracked a phone before. The chassis is scratched and dotted even though the phone was always in case and screen protector. And the exyous cpu sucks. I have been looking at samsung s22 and s23, but I find it funny that my s20 ultra has more ram, and now the s23 ultra, I'd basically note that I'm not a fan of. 80% of what android provides I don't even use I got old and need simple just to get day by day. I'm going to keep s20 ultra for stuff that iPhone can't do but what got me excited for iphone is the ray tracing and brining AAA titles to mobile
Yet the battery of the iphone was worse then my s23 ultra even today with fast charging
I have the s22 ultra which recently received an ipdate to improve battery life. But i am still looking at the new iphone just to try it out. I love samsung ui experience. But I don't use all the features that are offered. So when my contract is up, I am going apple for 2 yrs to see if I like it.
Woah woah woah... You can't increase the charging speed AND add USBC during the same year, that's a future "magic" feature they will add in the 16+.
The iPhone 15 is kinda okay cause it’s no longer standing out 😅with the new charger 😁
That's good..this is how you stay an android guy..you try iPhone too. That's the only way to know if you still want to use an android. iphone has never won me ever since iphone 6. I keep trying them, but still android for me.
Trust me, I have never used lightning cable data transfer, I always use Airdrop on my 14 pro. btw I love Android more like iOS, I also think that overall UIUX MIUI is better than iOS.
As a former apple user that switched to android, i can safely say that im never switching back, i love my s23 ultra way to much to switch
My family has always been an android family so ive also always had an android, and for a bit now ive been wanting to see what its like to use an iphone. but for a bit my mom had to use an iphone xr when it came out and she hated it, transferring her stuff to and from it and all, so ive been skeptical about getting an iphone and im more and more tempted now with this 15 pro. Currently using the s22+
Don't even think about it bro, just update your phone to the S24 when it comes out. I use iPhone a couple times in the past and let me tell you, it was a horrible experience. Their App store is full of trash, their iCloud will ask for your password every single hour, their phone gets extremely hot in a matter of seconds, and you can't customize anything except for the wallpaper and lock screen. Horrible!
i'd say just update your phone once there's a big breakthrough, s22 to 23/24 or even an iphone won't make much difference..
Let me make it short for you.
It's a piece of garbage that apple insists to be a revolutionary/luxury item.
You gonna give it away...
Why do I keep getting t mobile ads for the iPhone 14 every video I click on
60 hz in an almost $800 Iphone is a shame in a day where 120 hz can be found on an A54
It can't be programmed to do whatever you want it too only a hand full of functions

What if next year we wld be seeing iphone 16 pro / 16 pro max and iphone 16 ultra and 16 ultra max because of the chip ... who knows 🤷♂️
Yes, i still remember i root my android 10 years ago, and customized the volume button like press 2 times, press 3 times to do something. Not something new. But as android guy, I respect apple have done that but...not revolutionary or somethings new for android users.
Let's hope that Samsung will present the Galaxy S24 with revolutionary features and a super powerful processor!
That’s is Google. They are using the Samsungs chips and will be coming out in 1 month with a flat screen display. I will be getting both
And if they don't come out with "revolutionary" features for their next phone I will be laughing in every Samsung users face because how can you expect big changes for an iphone every year when Samsung and Google only make incremental updates too? Just say you're an Apple hater and move on lol. Phones are pretty much necessary in today's world. They do what they need to do. Any other features added on at this point are gimicks, regardless of who's making the phone.

Yall samsung stans are just as pathetic as apple ones.
@@773Chicagowe’ll see how that works the pixels using exynos have been worse than pixels with snapdragon but I know Samsung is working hard to make the next exynos a lot better. We’ll see.
I’m probably sticking to my 14 pro max this year tbh. Maybe if there’s a good deal I’ll trade in, but as of now there’s no big improvement to me other than USB C
If I had the 14 pro max I'd hold on to that for a few more years. realistically new devices might look better, but they're really not that much better. It's always amazing to upgrade after 3+ or ideally 4+ years. Going from one year's phone to the next left me with slight remorse. I could afford it, but it also could have been money spent better elsewhere.
They'll take out a GPU core next year and call the chip a17
For some reason i dont know what apple is thinking. Ipads have usb 3.1, whilst idk why iphone 15 only has usb 2.0
The type C and action button is a win for me I think I might drop my Sony Xperia IV for the 15 pro I haven't used an iPhone since the XS Max
Finally someone I agree with 🙏
I'll be honest, I am really not on either side for what phone I use, I think they both have their own strengths and weaknesses. Currently I'm using a galaxy S9+ and I'm a big fan of the Google pixel phones. I am also a fan of apple too though, people really say apple copies everyone but let's be honest here every company copies each other (now yes maybe apple copied more from Android phones then Android phones have copied from apple) but I still think it's something to take into consideration when thinking of the apple vs Android debate. Overall great video though, you definitely earned a sub!
i know this prob wont happen but what if the iphone 16 comes out and apple actually listens and adds things like fast charging, new design and stuff. i wonder if people would still make fun of it and say android already had that or something
