This is basically a reverse X-men with cate essentially having professors x powers but wanting magnetos’s idealogy. And Andre having magneto’s powers and wanting to coexist like professor x

@@gaius5901 magneto’s powers are magnetism based. Magneto was only able to move blood because there was a abundance of iron in that person which has a magnetic charge.

The invisible guy is Translucent's son ( the first supe Hewy killed in The Boys) he's actually really strong
The scene where Sam is being electrocuted shows Andre’s strength too, because he’s also being electrocuted
Finally someone gets that too which breaks my heart now that Andre is gone now 😭😭😭😭
I guess? The only way to put Sam down is through electrocution and we’ve seen that like 10+ times throughout the woods that’s the only way they were able to ever subdue him ever. That was basically his kryptonite. We have never seen the same thing with Andre. He could be resistant to electricity, for all we know.
So happy we were able to watch this again right before the boys season 4 now my memory is FRESHHHH and ready!! Can’t wait!!
It’s always important to remember with his lasers that he can control the intensity , and inconsistent plot armor
It also shows how durable she is. They wouldn’t have given Andre the line “anyone else would’ve been in the ground“
@@Nuka1880I find it more inconsistent about the whole durability when she can slice her palms with a knife, both her and Neuman...yet she is bulletproof etc 😅 must be some knife i guess. Should try that one on Homelander 😅
THE BOYS 4 OUT IN 2 DAYS??!!!
The best part is that I have only seen the teaser and my memory of that teaser is foggy so it is gonna be blind. It gonna be like how I started the boys 1-3 which I haven’t seen the trailers for them obviously and that means I don’t know what to expect. I like not knowing nothing about The Boys content because of how unpredictable this series is, including Gen V.
Same. I accidentally watched one teaser clip of Homelander and Butcher talking but apart from that I'm completely spoiler free (if we're not counting promotional posters)

The last scene is SO eerie. The way Jordan is holding herself in that scene, it's sort of very.... elegant (which is a bit odd for her character), but also overtly soft and unfazed. Doesn't seem right for Jordan. Emma is holding this sort of very fluffy pink smoothie which seems odd. I understand that she needed to get some calories to get her normal size back, but is that what Vought would give to what is essentially a prisoner of theirs? Because that's what she is to them... And then obviously Marie mentioning that they are in a room with NO doors...which is odd in itself.
My theory and many others' as well is that Cate might have trapped them in a sort of "mind game"/"reality" of hers or something. We know that Cate can do so much more than just "push/command" people, she's essentially a telepath that can read minds, and we also saw her trapping people in her own memories/mind. The scope of her powers is probably bigger than we realize. The idea of her trapping the other Supes in some sort of weird "state of mind reality" or something isn't that big of a stretch. It would explain why there are no doors to the room. Cate wouldn't need a door in this reality. Also, it would explain why so much of it feel so eerie and a bit "out of place".
yeah jordan really stood out to me too! legs to the side instead of cross cross (overtly feminine way of sitting when in a dress/skirt), soft/gentle voice, and hair curled (i’m pretty sure they never did their hair once, other than a ponytail lol)??
in my worst case scenario for them, they were assigned the female gender permanently against their will bc The Powers That Be found that having access to both aspects was too threatening. typing it out it sounds very allegorical haha like a lot of plot points in the show!
Do you want a main reason, why is Homelander picked Cate and Sam's side? Because he saw himself in both of them. Cate was needed to be loved and everyone who she thought cared for her, were using her for their own desire and lying to her. 2. Sam is been tortured and experimanted on by people.
The Boys season 4 starts on Thursday (Jun 13).
All Supes have Super hearing so that sound they play disturbs them. The only thing they can use to bother every Supe it just temporarily disables them until they find the source. It's in the comics as well.
There’s definitely probs one or two that don’t have superhearing though. I bet there is a deaf superhero out there.💀
Here it becomes clear that Emma does not necessarily have to vomit to become small. It could even be that she only needs to feel small to become small. But I think both ways lead to the goal for her. If the emotional part could replace the physical part, Emma wouldn't have been able to become small when Andre asked her to break into the woods. She had felt really good, like a hero. The emotional part do not replace the vomiting or eating, at least not yet.
Kate certainly doesn't deserve to have her arm blown away by her friends. And Marie certainly didn't want it that way. That was more of a reflex. Kate does everything she can to protect her friends from people and for her, counterattack is the best defense. Certainly not the right way, but only to protect.
are you guys planning to watch XMEN 97? it's a good series.
God I hope they watch that show @Spartan & @Pudgy would get so pumped at the intense G up scenes in that show.
Maverick's power isn't always on. You can see him at translucent's funeral because he's translucent's son.
They've said they will not recast Andre so they'll write him out somehow and probably introduce a new character to take his place.

I suspect Emma being little isn't through her crying, it's for being felt little. So in theory, going by this, she may have to just think to be little to get little. Like this is a setup before she gain the "normal way" of activating the powers of most superheroes who can shrink.
Cate is hands down the best supe.

Curious to see how they will handle the death of Andre's actor. I kinda hope they don't do a recast bc I feel like that would be kinda disrespectful to Chance. I think the thing that would make the most sense is that they use that brain-tumor to explain the disappearance of his character but I guess we'll see.

They said they wouldn’t recast, although Chance seemed pretty chill so I’m sure he wouldn’t mind. But yeah I get not wanting to put someone else in that role if your friend was once in it, the chemistry wouldn’t be the same either. I hope they handle it well, I hope it doesn’t destroy the whole show.
I’m thinking maybe they all try to get out, and maybe have someone fill in for Chance with CGI tech, like Paul Walker for Furious 7, and then people come in and knock them out again, and then they wake up and are told that Andre was killed due to torture, plus the health condition his dad was talking about. Then maybe his dad gets wind of that and sets him in motion to kinda take things down from the inside. Also it might make Cate go down some interesting rabbit holes.
I feel like to take his place on the team they need someone else worthy, and I got 3 theories:
1. Golden Boy, by bringing him back somehow. (I doubt they could do that now but it’s a thought)
2. Rufus. Maybe after Andre tries to kill him in season 1 and after Andre’s death, he has a change of heart and starts to make amends for his past shitty behavior. Plus the actor was great on Supernatural and can easily be a main cast member if put up to it.
3. Hughie. Apparently there’s an arc in the comics where Hughie infiltrates Godolkin posing as a student. Maybe they’ll do this where at the end of The Boys season 4 he joins them.
There is a reason that Sam and those others were "in The Woods." They are highly anti-social, if not psychotic. It also appears that without Shetty's "medicine," Cate is a psychopath.
lol, no medicine can hide psychopath mate. People with conscience can also do bad things okay. And Cate has definitely not displayed any signs of Psychopathy.
@@afinunana7600, the "medicine" (drug) did not "hide" Cate's psychopathology. Its function was to dull/muffle the constant "noise" produced by her receptive telepathy so that she could function in polite society.

The whole reason why Shetty had a hold on Cate was because she showed her that love and care she stopped receiving as a child. She also thought making them forget was she ‘helping her friends’.

Unfortunately, you're never going to find any type of consistency with the writing of superhero properties. Especially with extremely powerful characters, the more insanely overpowered, the more ridiculous the writing becomes to justify it.
@@fredwin Yeah it's true, it doesn't really bother me usually, but this was such a leap from what every viewer assumes is a relatively fragile supe. I feel like it would have been better for her to eat one of his punches or something
Nah, I mean you're right considering it's just a weird power in general. We never hear anything about her possessing anything but an average human's strength or durability, and all of a sudden she's tangling with people who are incalculably more powerful and is somehow able to hang.

I genuinely believe that the younger the supes are the stronger they are as the serum becomes more developed, take Neuman and Marie,Maries eyes don't go cloudy and it seems like she can do much more than Neuman already, Sam is stronger than homelander at that age too
