      @@Ric-Flairbro take a chill pill. That wasn’t even the Bok’s B team. With the exception of the wings that backline was experimental. Players played out of position and still managed to outclass a full strength AB side from the beginning and even when it was 14-14. Was on neutral ground too. What i find so strange about the AB supporters is that still in a Mcaw-Carter hangover phase and suffering from some kind of psychotic disconnect. Those days are gone bro. That was sn exceptional bunch of athletes present at the same time. The stars just aligned perfectly bro. The ABs attack got unlocked yesterday by an inexperienced backline. The forwards got shown up and worst of it all, there isn’t mich time left. Even though ftom the outside the ABs appears to have instinctive brilliance in the back it has a pattern and got exposed yesterday for the world to see. They cant do much else that the world hasnt seen and top coaches can exploit. That 20 mins u saw in NZ was the only bit of true dominance the ABS had against the Boks and it was more of being caught with your pants down than brilliance. Nobody saw it coming at that pace and for so early in the match.
      As a rugby supporter all alarm bells should be going off. That gash was deep on lomax’s knee. On two places and in a zone where you need it the most. Its going to take something just short of a miracle for that to heal in two weeks and get up to scratch. He wont be able to train for a pretty long time bro. Barret is definately gojng to be banned. He is arguably your best and most powerful forward. The front row got showed up from the beginning and the mighty Tamaiti was nowhere to be found when it truly mattered. If i were an AB supporter it is time to stop believing your own
      hype and start facing the reality that this WC is open and up for grabs. AND….RICHIE IS GONE MY GUY…FOREVER. Get over it and move on. The world no longer holds the ABS in such high esteem and the Boks show the world every time how should unlock them.
      Right now this AB side is most likely a disgrace for the HAKA

      Yes we have a win vs NZ at last, omg and it was so desperately needed. Didn't expect it to be the biggest one in history, can hardly believe it ffs. I remember pre apartheid time we beat the ABs and our winning margin was in our r favor, past apartheid era the roles r reversed for some reason. Maybe we still need to fight politics, with race quotas and what not, old days the team was mostly white, not acceptable off course. And our players of color r exceptional. But the ABs team m of the last decade or so is exceptional too for the most part, hence why a win vs NZ is one any team grab with both arms, and once u get a chance to get it, u go all out, hence maybe why this big margin with pressure coming from the opposition resulted in 2 yellow = red?

    This loss is a blessing in disguise, I think. Rather the ABs not peak right now and make all their f*ck ups in the warm ups than in the WC tournament. It just last year that the ABs had a horror run of results, but as Colesy said, 'took their learnings' and came back better and smarter. Abs to beat France in the opener!

    • @prudeuncle
      @prudeuncle Před 10 měsíci +4

      Mate I appreciate the optimism but really there is nothing positive about getting destroyed in your last warm up game before a RWC. Now all other teams have had a glimpse in what it take to neutralise NZ. Also you have lost Lomax for potentially the entire tournament and maybe even Scott Barret. I can't really see any positives coming from this at all.

      @user-yc5is9cf7z Před 10 měsíci

      You're right - I am looking for the positives. Just putting myself in an AB shirt and, if I were a player, I'd think the 'best' place to have a shocker is in a warm-up, not the actual tournament. I thought Scotty Barrett had gotten through giving away stupid yellows - and reds! - but evidently, not quite. Lomax - we'll wait for the prognosis. But, something you might agree with me on, the ABs won't play as badly as that for a long time. Plus, SA were awesome. Not many teams can live with that kind of forward domination. In all honesty, SA should have scored more such was their dominance. Have a good one mate.@@prudeuncle

    It's not all doom and gloom, it was an awesome game. New Zealand wanted a good test for their team and the combinations to see where you lack or can improve. Sometimes you think your best team is good enough to bank on and then this happens. This then highlights things that need sharpening up and where a few tweaks is needed. NZ really needed a hard hitting, hard defending opponent.. pushing the All Blacks to their limits. That is the only way to learn and i think only the Top6 ranked teams in the world can do that to the NZ team.
    Better to know and fix these issues before heading into world cup. Learn and Improve.
    Similar the Springboks needed to play NZ to see where their defense or combination issues or breakdowns may be lacking. Learn and improve.

    The ABs, along with all international sides (minus England 2003, and ABs 2015), simply don't have the ability to control the outcome of this tournament via raw talent. Other variables such as leadership on & off the field, draws, depth, psychology, and perhaps most importantly...precise moment of peaking, are most important. I'm a NZer dissapointed to see us peak so early in the season (it's a terrible omen), so to see a crap result like this gets me quite excited. The 1995 WC defined all WCs...a terrible 1994 ABs side playing a little understood Sth Africa side. Greatest, and most symbolic WC of all time!

    I think is sometime better to let the opposition score quickly, than absorb pressure for so long. If you can do it without infringing is one thing, but if you don't, you put the referee part of the game, negatively so as a defending team.

    I always said. Don't take the 3 points against the AB and think you have points on the board... Big mistake when you pressured them and you take the 3 points, they are actually so relieved, because they know that a restart brings them back to the center of the field and they will capitalize on that!! The Boks utilized the pressure perfectly and that constant pressure on pressure on pressure didn't give them only 3 points, it gave them 2 sent offs, 7 points and forced the AB to play catch up rugby the entire match and that is how you beat the All Blacks.
