Again Rassie innovating by bringing in a ref - how long before you see other teams doing the same.

I just really hope Rassie really looks at going for a 5:3 bench and more GP based players in future at altitude...our backs were really blowing in those last 10 minutes...NZ would definitely have taken advantage... otherwise extremely excited by this era🎉

as much as I share your frustration, the press conferences are run by SA Rugby and we get to put a mic down on the table, which obviously goes to the players/coaches because their answers are important. It is up to SA Rugby to provide a mic for the questions, which doesnt happen. So until that changes, we're doing our best.

Re: sound quality & background noise, it is clearly & understandably driving many people nuts. I watch most of your material but stopped listening. It’s maddening & shows zero respect to listeners. Brendan, read your ‘explainer’, but you appear to be the ‘official’ conduit for SABC material: SURELY you can sit down with someone & talk this through! It DOES NOT HAVE TO BE LIKE THIS. Thank you. PS: just listened to Paul O’Connell presser, seemingly in the same venue, also distributed by you. What a pleasure; clear audible sound!

    • @BrendenNel

unfortunately it isn't that simple. I had some sound problems last week, but they've been sorted. I'm not in Durban and have someone sending me the clips. I'll be there later this week. The Boks don't do mics and the venue they have this week is in the middle of a restaurant, make of that what you will. Ireland have a film crew with them that supplies us with the videos, so its a professional setup. The Boks don't have that. So while we can have this debate back and forth, I don't have anyone funding my videos, and I'm a journo by trade. I'm learning and trying to get better with the audio, but often I'm hamstrung by what the Boks do. And unfortunately we have chatted to them, but they aren't going to budge. So we do the best we can. We've addressed this a number of times, but to no avail. So unfortunately it irks me a bit when you say I have "zero respect" for listeners. As a freelancer who has to fund myself to get to these pressers, with zero help from anyone, to compare me with a professional film setup that costs thousands is rather bizarre. Plus, take into account that - like yesterday - nobody else has posted this presser - so if I didn't, it wouldn't be up. If someone is willing to sponsor me around 100k plus of equipment, it would help, but that's not going to happen.
And even if it did, to hijack the Bok presser so that my mic - and not someone else's in the room (tv stations) is passed around, isn't going to happen.
I'm always trying to ensure that one, the content is there, when others don't and yes that the sound is as good as possible. But now that you tell me it shows "zero respect" for my viewers, I do take it personally, and wonder if it is worth it.

Brendan I for one value your input into the online ecosystem of Springbok content. Please don't be disheartened. You won't please everyone but your contributions have their own flavour and it wouldn't be the same without you in the CZcams space. Thanks for taking the time to explain the context of your content as well, just makes it more easy to appreciate your effort as a fan when you're doing it without big backing. I'm sure someone will come to the party at some point.

3:17 I dont think Peyper even believes the biased nonsense he is saying on neck roll at the ruck for the Lowe try. Factually the only reason Kelleher was off his feet because he was getting neck rolled.

Great answer from Jaco, on referencing the incident in Ireland. It was not supposed to be a try back then by Ireland for the try..
Seems like Ireland also want to take over the whining title from SA fans..😂
