I call this pedal many things, "The Wah Pedal of Infinite Wahs," "The Sambora Pedal," "The Most Impractical Guitar Pedal but the Most Fun Guitar Pedal." This is a pedal I played with for hours just messing around and playing different songs. I need to find a way to use this live in 2019. That is my goal as of now.

it was difficult to watch because of the possibility of knocking the guitar into something and indeed it did happen. took a little longer than my friend expected but we both feel better now LOL

I've had a talkbox kicking around for years. Never learned to set it up. Yeah, after this video, I'm selling the thing. Just not for me.
Not to be confused with the fart box. Guess where the hose for that goes. 🤪
You run an SM 58 near the tube and run the talk box through a p.a.-I use the tower P A system like JBL, or any subwoffer/tower highend p.a.-The quickest and best sounding. If you try running through a guitaramp you missed the boat.

He has it hooked wrong. It goes in the signal chain. It has a built in amp.

Yours is broken, it shouldn't be shutting down. You should be able to max all the knobs out without any problem.
Probably be cause he put it between amp and speaker which is wrong for this unit. It has a built-in amp and would go in your signal chain. He's over driving the input.
Does it work with a keyboard (not a synthesizer but regular keyboard)?

The solo for 21st century schizoid man where is the video for it you said it would be a 3 part lesson.
it's 2019 are we getting the lesson or not I need to know how to play that last part and your versions are the only good ones I can find.
Well thanks for the complement my friend! It means a lot! The reason it's not out yet is because I've recorded it several times, and I havent felt fully confident with it yet, like I was doing a disservice to the song. I promise it will come out this summer and I will try my hardest to do a good job :)

I can play a "radio edit" version I guess where I cut the solo and just do the main bridge chorus and mirrors but until then I would like to know if theres any way of you telling when you think you might be happy with it.@@JLAnderson_Music

As far as Part 3 goes, I'm going to aim Mid/End of May. I would say sooner, but since I'm a classical guitar major and this isn't as simple as twenty-one pilots, it takes a bit longer to get everything right, recorded and tab out. if you offed the pedal while you are playing the guitar part, then stepped on it for "so what" wouldn't that sound better/less mangled?
Any idea what the tube size is for a replacement beside buying the official Dunlop part? Like the size of the fitting on the end and the tube itself?
How the mic is amplified and what speaker it goes for that

No, the output from the talkbox goes to the input of the guitar amp.
You said the 3rd cable goes into our “thing”. What is our thing?
Idk man listen just plug it in like a normal pedal I was making this way more complicated cause that's what I saw other people do
I haven't seen anybody actually talk clearly with this talkbox
I think it's actually impossible to talk clearly since you cant put down your lips together to make a B T P ext sound. It's like saying the alphabet with your mouth open the whole time
What kind of amp are you using? My bass/electric amp doesn't have an output
I am using a Quilter 101 Mini Head and Bugera 112TS Cabinet. The annoying thing is it seems like you need an amp head and cab and not just a combo since you need to plug it into the Cab as well as the effects loop. I haven't tried this with any of my combo amps, or bass amp to see if it will work. Sorry :(
The output of the pedal goes to the input of your amp. You don't need a seperate amp/cab setup for this to work. JLAndersonMusic is telling everyone the INCORRECT way to connect this to your amp.
Would this work with a bass and a bass amp?
Hi friend sorry for the late reply. I have tried this on bass and it overloads the amp, so it will cut out and give you unneeded distortion. I'd stick with am actual bass amp. Playing over a bass, maybe? I doubt it. It's just a really portable practice amp that's not meant for gigging
How would you go about setting up a talkbox for a keyboard? I have a roland juno ds, and i can not figure out where to plug the talkbox into the keyboard?
I think it has to be one that has the 1/4" headphone jack typically for amps, but I don't know how your keyboard works
