Great update. Liking the semi-transparent OSD elements, and exterior lighting (tail strobe and nav).
One thing missing with Walksnail compared to analog, is the ability to have two camera's and switch between with one VTx. Like 2nd view from tail, or a downward view. It would be awesome to have this feature with HD video quality, but probably not likely, given more pilots fly quads with just single camera. A camera switch would however make for a nice accessory.
Liked the after hours flight... You can really see how dark it is by the flashing lights after landing...

Keith, do you have any tutorials on how you do your set ups? I’m really liking the long ranges that you’re able to accomplish. I’m not new to flying, but totally new to FPV. Wanting to totally transition over to it.

The wingtip lights come stock in the plane, the strobe in the tail is a Vifly Strobe like this amzn.to/45QVtFP
Nice OSD. I just received my Swordfish and it came with 1600kv motors. How is that going to change the efficiency?
Im flying with 1700kv motors and get around 40 min with a 4000mah pack

Curious why RSSI is showing 98. Is that AP? Looks like it's just LQ with a buggy scaling.
It's RSSI and LQ from Crossfire. I never really got far enough for RSSI to start dropping.
@@bonafidepirate yeah, but looks like RSSI is just LQ scaled from 0-98 for some reason. Not really RSSI. I wonder if there's a setting to use actual signal strength for RSSI.
@@Onefgear It's not LQ, it's RSSI scaled. I'm not sure there's a way to show it in dBm in Ardupilot if that's what you're suggesting.
@@bonafidepirate no worries. It just weird how AP is doing it. There's no "official" way to dBm. I hope they add it soon. Thx
@@Onefgear You can do it with ArduCustom, here's where they added it - github.com/ArduCustom/ardupilot/pull/78 I don't run ArduCustom though because I want EKF3, they only do EKF2 on boards with less than 1MB of flash memory. It also doesn't include a driver for the Qiotek airspeed sensor that I'm using in some of my other planes. They've cut out a number of things like that, I'm assuming to make room for adding other features like the RSSI thing... lol
