I was into nitro about 15 years ago. Electrics have come a long way since then. Much more fun for little ones, (including myself), so for the price it will be fun to get back into rc! I have had this rc car for 3 YEARS and put it through absolutely EVERYTHING and this thing IS A BEAST and can handle EVERYTHING.

Junior Gonzalez I was driving it earlier, I think itâs water resistant but Iâve drove it through some hefty puddles and itâs fine but itâs better things is that itâs pretty much impossible to break but itâs not the fastest you can get out there I personally would recommend a wltoys a959, a959-b (faster)
Yes! This is so true. I have the FY03 for about 2 years and only one part has broken! Theyâre insanely well built for the price and very well designed not to mention all the after support!
First video of your Iâm watching, but damn your one of the best RC and car reviewers out there. You have so much energy, and fun in the videos and the phrases and just everything keeps you engaged in the video, and it just helps it carry on without getting boring, plus you can tell you put effort into the videos because some youtubers wonât link or help out the viewers in the description or anything. Kev, love the channel. I collected the big brother of this truck the FY-08. It did not do as well as this one during your review, but Iâve had better success except for a weakness that both share -- the shocks. Iâm wondering if you can recommend some oil filled replacements. Wouldnât mind seeing an upgrade done on the channel.
BTW I love your grave digger builds. Iâm in the US and attended a few Monster Jam events back in the 80âs when Bigfoot was king. I have two RC monster trucks, a Kyosho Double Dare and a more recent Redcat Racing Ground Pounder. Both were chosen for 4WS. Hopefully I can try my hand at building something similar to your grave diggers later this year. If you get a chance to grab a Ground Pounder I think you would love it. I donât think it will bash, but for a mini monster jam it has the right formula.

All the internal components are the exact same a the Feiyue-FY03, which you can get cheaper on Amazon; the only difference here is the shell and lack of roll cage.

This was my first hobby grade rc and it lasted me about a year until I started pushing to its limits and it started breaking so I decided I needed an upgrade. Keep up with the great content

Got mine couple months ago love it broke it new new screw for rear ended . Drove off three foot wall and noticed it was driving side ways . Easy fix back up and driving this week. Super fun truck and fast . For the money itâs worth it.

I've had mine fpr a year now.
After I put hub extensions on it,it didn't roll over half as much.
I just got one of these for my dad, I reccomend gluing the shock caps to the shock
I have the 6x6 brushless version and it's mental
Also I would recommend changing the driveshafts to metal ones because the plastic ones can break pretty easily sometimes especially the rear one if it gets hit
Other than that the fy0 models are pretty indestructible

rc fun Dyer Iâve had the buggy version for a few years now. Only thing that has broken was one driveshaft after that long! Itâs insanely tough. Definitely worth it. They also make one with a different body but same car called FY02 and the buggy version is FY03 thatâs the one I have.

exactly that (edit: with a smaller 390 motor). careful slicing of round servo grommets makes seals for the stock shocks, is pretty simple.

The Fy03 or 01//has METAL differental GEARS..the wytoys dosnt
You can install 2850 ( 390 can size in it)..
But it has plenty of power on the stock 390. You just need to lower the
rear shocks or get oil filled shocks..It's liter than the Wytoys...The WLTOYs has 550 motor..add counter balance wieght
i have a bunch of them converted to brushless ( 2845 3300KV)
I got them on sale for $40 years ago..
if you keep it stock nothing breaks. I have a couple stock.

Got a question. Bought my son this exact truck. Is there an alternative for the batteries it came with? We only get about 10 min on high speed for each battery. Just wondering what I can use.

All my builds are awesome thanks to you Kev I know more than I did about RC,s I feel I can have fun with the next build using hand picked parts like I always wanted build it right the first time and have fun with it wen it's done
You should test out the Remo hobby rocket, it was my first RC car and it is quite fast for a 1/16 scale RC car and itâs very cheap and very indestructible
If you like them solid rear axles on short course trucks, check out the feiyu fy08. A mini UDR which looks really awesome. It even has a inner roll cage, fake fans, two spare tyres on the back and mini drivers.
Bro have you tried any of the laegendary brand trucks yet if not please do I have the legend model we both all the time I have an xmaxx a kraton 6s and a senton 3 s and it takes most of the abuse they take with a few repairs and what's your opinion on the kraton 6s vs the 8s

You put it through hell but it held up much better than I expected. Unreal ! A little epoxy on the broken front and it is back up and as good as new.
I can't help but laugh at the staircase of doom. Each car cautiously creeping towards the steps, then tumbling down reminds me of a puppy being faced with going downstairs for the first time.
Also I like it when you drop the new car in slow motion and at the end you point at the subscribe buttun
