All your videos made me start buying hobby grades no more toy grades it's a very good feeling to have one . because it's better than a figgit spinner. an a stupid video games but get you one an you will see that it feels like a tiny go kart. every thing that a real car do aka vehicle this things can do. I'm totally getting one now! I've ALWAYS wanted an invictus. When Helion discontinued it, I was really sad. Now that I know it's literally the same thing, I'm 100% getting one. And maybe some classic tmaxx style tires to match. I'm so happy! lol
I was really interested in this rig when I first got in the hobby n almost bought one, I thought it was so cool that an RC could cross on top of water. Great vid Kev!

I bought this truck months ago loosen the slipper clutch a little or you will blow out your differential gears this truck is fast and takes a beating for the price i love it, if you need parts it is a helion invictus copy i used some invictus parts on it it works
I do agree with the plastic body because I have a nitro and electric rustler and I am rough on both and have broken a few parts but the frame barely has scratches
Put slicks on it and do a speed run with it like if you argree
This thing is the EXACT design of the Helion Invictus! Same chassis, suspension, and such. My helion came with a spektrum system and a 3500kv motor 3s compatible. Definitely want this truck to add to my collection I'm starting. Just got my Arrma big rock v3 today.

I bought this little beast and i've modified it: 25 kg servo, 3660 3300kv motor, 80A esc, metal spur gear and a gyroscope! Now it flies! ( over 110 km/h with a 4s lipo).
Hey, did they (FS-Racing) take care of the differential issue? People were reporting that the differential case was too brittle or bent on 3S which made the gear mesh inside change and break/chew up the spider gears. I waited for an actual video of the latest release of this truck and they seem to have made further improvement. The shocks look very pro, now. And it really comes with a 3S battery like people mentioned already in BG buyer comment section. Unfortunately Kevin doesn't address the diff issues. If FS-Racing really sorted that out than this is the best 1/10th scale truck for the money, especially with the cheap part supply.
Yes! The only problem with this truck is the differential: if you run with a 3s ( or in my case with a 4s) there is an high probability to broke the spider gears!
But it isn't a big problem cause you can buy this spare part(and many others) on BG with a few euro!
Also what hex set do you use for your drill cause I have the same one just sitting around and would like to make a good use for it.

Ha! I have a helion invictus! Thing is a good basher truck, good to know there is another rc with the exact platform! I need to upgrade my esc though as mine doesnt seem to stay cool enough with the itty bitty fan thats bolted on top. Love your channel Kevin!

Some plastic are amazing look at rpm parts is rather have rpm than integy. Also this truck has some sweet shocks for the price! 👍
3S, 4WD with those paddles- will need a fan on the motor when the weather warms up.
I own one off these rigs and I love it! Only problem I have had with it so far is the body shell is pretty fragile at cold temps and the rear diff broke a spider gear other wise I love it!
I cracked the shell already too, but so does the xmaxx on first run!

Mark my words. You can find most of the rc cars from banggood on ebay and banggood can never beat ebay's price. I usually don't comment on videos but I just wanted your subscribers to save some bucks buying on ebay rather than banggood. I know you're paid by Banggood and cannot tell people not to buy from Banggood. Btw, I don't have much money to buy branded rc cars. So I buy chinese rc cars mostly. Some of them are wltoys, gptoys and so on.
I wouldn't ever buy from banggood they stole my money I never got a refund from them after a order was cancelled. That's theft.

I lost like $50, which was a lot to me.
Was never even sent as was out of stock when ordered. They told me its been refunded and basically my bank thats at fault....worse company ever even the fake looking pic of some so called proof looked dumb.

Hey Kevin! there's an RC car I was planning on getting but I'm not sure... It's similar to the WLToys 12428 but it looks like the Traxxas Slash. I wanted to see how durable the gears, suspension, overall build quality, and body are. I wanted to see if you could swap the motors and how much it can handle too. I'll be using it for lots of jumping. If you get a chance to buy it, thanks a lot!

Hi guys, I recently bought it. is good fun bit slow on the servo. I am not abusing of my stuff in general. I play fairly with this, but 1th time shock broke, fair enough was not properly screwed in. Easy fix (add glue).
Few more drives i got a rattling noise, dunno what is it yet, i will check it soon, but I honestly do not feel to recommend it. Maybe I am not so lucky. Free tip, the engine seems to heat up a too much so I suggest to get a heat sink on it.
cranky noise was a bearing .. in the rear diff. replaced.
Than another cranky noise, Motor pinion this time and gear warned out. Got new ones replace them both but still cranky noise ( the distance is fine between them) I wonder what the hell is going on this time

There awesome, They should be, it's a Helion Invictus MT with paddle tires. The Helion shafts are tougher than banggoods, and you should really replace the silly brass pinion gear they come with a steel one, the servo, and put real shock oil in the shocks. I have four of them, T-Bone racing makes a cool wheelie bar for them as well. RPM arms are also available for them too, front and rear. Duratrax six pack wheels and tires look and work awesome on them as well. Best value out there. And of coarse @9:04 You all discover that :D... Fun Fact, FS Racing made them for Helion, and the Victories are not clones.

i bought one of the cars that you showed off on your channel and i made sure there were parts on banggood for it but no where else so i baught it expecting to be able to buy parts not knowing banggood takes 2 months for shipping in america and now i have a broken car that i will probably not fix ):
its the same as 8s steves car in the video you can get parts for that
And do you mind asking 8s steve if on his rustler 2wd he strips alot of spur gears or recks thoes brake pad looking things on the inside of his spur gear. Because I have the same wheels as him and I always ruin the spir gear and brake pads thxx
You can use the tmaxx nitro brake pads as a slipper pad upgrade,its a solid disc vs 3pads,and .maybe steel spur and loosen slipper:)

@@zaneelliott7538 of course bigger tires gonna put more strain on drivetrain,maybe gear mesh and slipper too tight,if slipper set right it shouldn't be eating up spur gear,gear mesh too tight or too loose will eat a slipper up real quick also,1 more thing,check pinion and make sure none of the teeth are out of sorts,all it takes is 1 tooth to be slightly off and it will chew a spur right quick... hope any of this helps:)

FS RACING VICTORY was the clone of HELION INVICTUS that was discontnued, so don't be surprised about it. even their parts are interchangeable.
I have that FS RACING VICTORY with aluminum chassis for 2 years now. The ESC is HobbyStar 80A.
It may be cheap, but the heck about Expensive ones.They serve one purpose. Play till it breaks. Yeah!

This Truck is Extremely FUN when you get it on the Water. but it will sink so put some floaties on it. I thought the VictoryX was a clone of the Invictus but i had someone explain to me that the Invictus is a Clone of the VictoryX. Helion buys rights to use other RC brand platforms.

That is the exact same car as the Helion Invictus minus maybe the front universals and the power system. To anyone that owns one, the diffs need to be shimmed. I had one for a while and they are a great budget option
