I'm schizophrenic and I lost my dog who was that person that held me together. She did everything to keep me happy. She died and it killed me, I spent years trying to get back to stable. She left hole in me. When you lose that person that gives you peace and makes you feel sane you don't ever truly recover. If you've lost that person I feel for you. Please talk to someone it won't fix you but it helps.
It's dusk and he's going home to an empty house. The heart recipient (who can go jogging now) is going home at dusk to her family. If this video persuades even one person to become an organ donor, it's done something miraculous. Both Capaldi's doing a tremendous job. Love them both. The song is actually about his gran!

Seeing that lady in the hospital bed got me thinking back to when I was losing my mom to cancer 😢💔. Been quite a while since then, but I miss her every day.

In an interview "Someone You Loved" finds Lewis Capaldi reflecting on both the end of a relationship and family bereavements, in particular his grandmother. The Scottish singer explained to NME that he chose to write open-ended lyrics for this song as he was "bored of talking about myself." Over the course of making his Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent album, a couple of family members passed away and he "wanted to write a song that could be applicable to both my relationship ending, which I was writing a lot about, and then this bereavement thing."

Thanks for the kind words, my dad passed 15 years ago, but every so often I miss him, he was a good teacher and a source of inspiration for me, the recent job I started is of a teacher, kind of poetic that after my father I'm pursuing a career in teaching as well. God bless you.

This song relates me a lot I lost someone really close to me and to be honest I was crushed I used to spend countless number of days in my bedroom crying and all with red eyes and some crazy headache it hurted me a lot 😭💔

The video was made in partnership with charity organisation Live Life Give Life in order to raise awareness for the issue of organ donation. It contains a message of loss and hope, telling a story of a husband who is trying to cope with the death of his wife. She became the heart donor for the young mother of another family, saving her life. Eventually the two families are brought together and the main character knows that his wife's heart continues to live on.

There are 2 chains of thoughts about this song. Alot thought it was about his ex girlfriend who dumped him before he hit the big time and she went onto love island. He has intimated its actually about the loss of his beloved gran who passed. Either way it is beautiful and he is the pride of Scotland and the UK ❣❣❣
