These parents have suffered not only the loss of precious children, they were slapped in the face by TEXAS law enforcement hierarchy, Governor Abbott and his office, our trusty Texas Senators and Congressmen too. This is like what happened in Parkland, in FL……..I was a school officer and had an 8th grader say, openly, in class, he was gonna shoot up the school! It was “rich” Christian school in FL. Kindergarten to 8th grade. It was so unsettling, I quit the job when school was finished, I stayed till the last day of school. He said this in 6th period class with one week of school left. Thank God nothing came of it, but, the father defended his “angel.” The mother was furious when we spoke with her. Everyday I went to school that last week, I was on edge, I stayed close to the cafeteria and would go back and fourth to the Gym to the playground. It was the worst feeling that if he did do something I would have to stop the threat. It was a small school and I knew all the staff and most of the students. Thank you God for watching over us all.

There is no other mass shooting scenario I can think of that was handled this poorly. There’s no point in saying it could have been worse, you can say it could have been worse to virtually every scenario you can think of, but it doesn’t change just how horrific the reality of the situation is. Sure it could have been worse, but this is undeniably the worst handled mass shooting case here in America compared to responses in other cases. Saying it could have been worse is just a slap in the face to the parents whose children went through this nightmare, for them what happened was the worst possible outcome. Some of those kids could have lived if the cops put an end to it as soon as they arrived.

This department bragged on their own Facebook pages about their new safer equipment to handle the types of weapons that were used that day.
Again on their own Facebook page's they bragged about active shooter drills that took place at the local high school, were students were apart of the drill. And how they were prepared and ready to stand up for children.
They bragged about their SWAT team. How well funded and trained they were.
And on that faithful day close to 400 cowards from multiple departments showed up and hid like babies. Those children in that room had bigger ball's, than nearly 400 grown men and women.
Decades of training, some even veteran's before becoming officer's. Wasting millions in equipment and training for them to hide.
They claim to care about their brotherhood and officer safety. They pound their chests on how much they care. Where were they when one of their own brothers wife was dying in thay classroom? A teacher tried to help and protect the children in that room, more than nearly 400 overly paid and overly trained cowards did.

The moment you give someone authority over you (Police), they will abuse it and protect themselves at your expense. Uvalde just let people see the dark side but no one will do anything about it. The boot lickers will say "give the cops a break" and everyone else will scream a bit but nothing will be done. Words are meaningless.
