I recently was in Kyoto and visited Kuoe to buy a watch after seeing your earlier review. Such a great experience. I swear every customer in the shop had seen your review :)
@@maxinahunt8652 That’s good to hear. They seem to be high quality watches. It’s dangerous because even in each line of their watches, the color variations are close but different enough to warrant getting different color ones of the same model😅
Attainable? Yes. Attractive and traditional? Certainly. Affordable? I struggle to agree $500 for an entry-level Miyota automatic calibre is "affordable." There is undoubtedly value for money here and I support how this brand approaches their timepieces. But man, we've come a long way if $500 bucks for an 8-series is "affordable."
KUOE is an authentic small shop in Japan that does all of their own design and assembly. They could not be further from the automated, subcontracted approach of brands like DW.
@matthewsanders6499 says the random person on the internet. It taking an Ali Express path with Ali Express parts. That's fine, Ali has good quality stuff for very little. There is no hype there, though. It is what it is. Why is this getting hyped? Probably money.

Great seeing you highlighting KUOE - another good-looking Japanese brand.
I’ll be there in a few days. Excited to see their store front.
I have the navy no date Old Smith 90-002. I absolutely love it. I’m eyeing a bronze one…
Buy from where?
Hope they stick to their current collection because that’s what they are good at. Don’t go to the route making sport/dive watches or pilot watches
Where is the KUOE review? No can find? Regards
Love the quartz.
Underrated
Yes, details of the watch offering
Teddy what are your thoughts on the Wise watches
I like them .
Very nice
I knew it was KUOE as soon as I saw the title 😊
Certainly on my radar!
I wonder if it may be possible for you to carry it in your online store 😊
Me too! I have one. Love it.

Problem is the sizing , too small for most men
Saw them in tokia. It looks well made but has very limited size offering. 36mm being the biggest.
That is one "classy" NATO/fabric strap on the field watch.
I love Kuoe. If only they came in grown man size
Too small really
Which Japanese watch brand is NOT "attainable"?
The Citizen, grand seiko, credor
Wish they were at least 39mm
39 is for boys, 44+ is for men💪
They are niche
I'm getting the feeling teddy is now carrying this brand
This looks too small on your small wrist!!
What movement...I bet it's seiko
He says in the video, maybe give it a watch. (No pun intended) 😂
Affordable😂😂😂
Teddy, what are you smoking?
This has to be an ad. This is the DW of Japan, right? It's basically copies of other with 5 to 20 dollar movements off Ali express.
