- I made a quick compilation of some the vintage BMX bikes that were on display at the recent "Old Guys On Dirt Day" at Egg Harbor BMX track in Egg Harbor NJ. There were some really dope bikes on display that day, I was really feeling that ACE bike, the Kastan cruiser and the chromed out Profile bikes. Check out my photo gallery where I have pictures of even more bikes from the "Old Guys On Dirt Day" at this link:

THANK YOU!!!! You just took me back 35 years! It’s great to see these bikes still looking awesome!
DeadZone318 Your welcome!! Thanks for watching!
So cool!
Rode the Haro first pictured in white , loved that bike.
I had a Redline and a Diamond Back in the late 80's......watching this warms my heart !!!!!
Word, great memories from back in the day!!
These bikes are so much better looking than the BMX bikes of today, they're like little works of art
This like so many others was a time machine back to my childhood thank you
That pro performer, at the end, was my dream bike. Brilliant.
Nice!
so kewl took me back.I love the frame style of the mongoose in the 80's.One of my favorite frames.
I am so glad I kept my race inc. it is exactly as it was in the early 80's.
seeing these bikes brings tears to my eyes all the bikes i grew up with iam going to start collecting them
+bobby salazar The good ole days!
Sure is wow amazing what u guys do
+bobby salazar Thanks!
same here bro! I stop a man he was about to scrap a Robinson bmx at the scrap yard! I ask him I will buy from him he said ok ! He said $5 is good !so now I'm staring to collect I already have 1 gt performer Robinson torker bmx diamond back
Nice!!
Great to see some of the legends of my youth here. PK Ripper, Redline, HARO, and that GT Performer. I owned a '87 Dyno Detour in chrome with black mags. Friend of my older brother had a Redline, not sure which model but it had the best geometry, i mean it just felt right and it was Fast!
Wow this really took me back to my childhood. This was the BMX bike that me and all my friends used to dream about owning. Problem was it was too expensive, off the top of my head about $400 to $500 dollars. A lot of money in the 80's. lol
So nice to see people showing appreciation for bmx bike. Unlike in my days losers will kick us off our bikes and take them. This brings back memories. ..
Really want to get myself an old school bmx, modern bmx bikes are no way as cool, mint vid 💯🔥👍
Thanks!
These bikes are truly amazing takes me way back kudos to you guys for keeping them so beautiful
Chrome bikes and mag wheels! Oooo how I miss the 80s and 90s
Word!! Great times back then!
Great vid.
Recreated my 1980 RA8 Race inc from my childhood using ebay now it hangs proudly on the wall like a fine piece of art.
Wish you would have zoomed in on that Skyway! Always wanted one of those. Had a Redline, a GT, a Mongoose and a Dyno between 1980 to 1988. Never was lucky enough to get an illusive Skyway or Hutch like my favorite riders were rocking in the magazines!
Skyway and Hutch have been making their frames/bikes again for a few years. Now's your chance to get one. Check out PlanetBMX
ah the memories of the 80's, i had a diamondback formula 1, best bike i ever rode, it was so fast, i was never off it, then made the transition to motocross, happy days
Nice!! You should try out today's high end BMX bikes. They're sick!!
Serious flashbacks. Kuwahara? Seriously? A bike popped up on the video. Saw the handle bars, Haro. That’s a Haro. Great video. Thank you.
You're welcome!
i had a cycle craft..a torker..cw..schwinn aero..and predator..mongoose expert and californian..and a profile..nothing beats an old school bmx
Word!!
ROCKMASTER DJ RIZ Schwinn were sick
That brought me back! I was able to remember which friend had each one like it was yesterday.
That redline is definitely my favourite !!!! This is a cool video 😲
Thanks!!
we are de-evolving as a species. BMX's were hottest back in the day
Your bike was your worth when I was a kid. I had a Schwinn Thraher...I was a nobody.
Does anybody remember the racing Incorporated aluminum titanium space age metal indestructible 😎🤣
Hell yeah
damn lmao i think they looked like ass back then. doesn't mean we're devolving. times and trends change
@@ciretoledo5410 I still have my 1978 Race Inc RA8 anodized blue on display in my livingroom 🤙🏽
I had the chrome "Haro Freestyler" frame (it wasn't called a Master, because Haro only made one frame at the time. I had to special order it from the local bike shop. When I received it, no other riders even knew what it was, that's how new the frame was. Loved that frame, it looked so good compared to everything else on the market. The frame broke, as did the forks. 😄 The replacement "Haro Master" frame broke as well, snapped the down tube clear in half just behund the triangle gusset.
DANG!!
That was incredible! Haven’t seen some of those since I was a kid. Thank you!
Your welcome!
Some of my favorite BMW bikes in the 80s were Peregrine, Robinsons & Red Line
Classics!!
Wow...This brings back some great memories. Racing at Lawrenceville, Howell, Flemington, etc.. Started with a Snapper Ross, then to a Kuwahara, then a CW Phase 1. What a fun time. NBL forever!!
Some sexy ass OG bikes. cant say the same for the newschool bikes today
Nah, there are some hella sexy newschool bikes out there.
I have an 85 californian, an 82 team murray, an 86 gt pro world tour, and an 87 dyno d-tour.
NICE!!
Good for you mate
Awesome!! I had a few of these and my friends did too! I was just telling my girlfriend who had what. Larry had the Redline, Frank had the Hutch, Sammy had the Supergoose... I Had a Torker, which I traded for a PK Ripper, then sold that and got a Kuwahara and I still have it!!! I'm 54 today and I was 15 back then!!
NICE!
Anybody remember a bmx bike called Hutch?
Stephan Cobb Meeeee Hutch are super bikes,i love them !!
I remember the back orders!!!! I tried to get one but the wait was like 6 months! I got a CW instead. Hutch grew too fast and could not keep up with the orders. They were out of Maryland I think. I think Rich Farside raced for Hutch if you remember that name.
Stephan Cobb hutch was local in my st md. hutch trick star I had it was godlike. Before Huffman bikes Matt rode for hutch a min then skyway.
How can I forget ?? I still have the shin scrape marks from Hutch " Bear Trap " pedals ...anyone remember those ?
Stephan Cobb yes it was the hutch trickstar🤔
Great video I loved the 80s greatest BMX years .I used to race with Mags can't see them doing that today
Thanks! It's called "The Whistle Song" by Frankie Knuckles
Takes me back! I had every sweet bike here almost and I think my Redlines were my favorite.. also my 85 GT mach 1. All were stolen from me at some point... shame 😢 Thanks for the memories
Your welcome! Sorry to hear about your bikes getting stolen
NYCEONE same here on the redlines, I had the MX-II’s one late 70’s and an ‘82. First one was white with red araya’s. Late 80’s was blue. Came home from the Air Force and parents had cleaned out the garage. About 6-8 grand to replace them now
I remember being in 89 walking into a bike shop and the first time I seen so much chrome was on a Diamond Back and I wad speechless. Still never owned one. I might need to change that.
They all look so lovely. Why can't I have one!?
You might be able to find some on Ebay or marketplace. They're pretty pricey though.
Great song choice!!!!! Rest In Peace Frankie Knuckles.
wow , great memories , I had a Kuwahara kz1, with Araya 7W's , CW bars with Oakley grips , Shimano DX pedals , still got the scars to prove it !! great days , best era for BMX , the '80's
Oh I miss my Mongoose Californian! !
Dope track and dope bikes!
+Welder oner Thanks!
I had more than I can count but I miss my Timmy Judge model the most. I want my PK and My white skyway TA too lol. I still have a 87 free angent limo f/f and a Elf f/f. Dam I was so hardcore into BMX in the 080s
I was like “oooh”, “ahhhh” all through this video.
Back in the day it was all about having a nice bmx with a 3pc crank. Those were the days
I miss my 1st generation GHP
5:00 there it is.. I HAD that bike.. GT Performer White...and by the end it was mush like that . . trying to make a BMX bike into a freestyle bike... I actually WON a HAro SPort NEON Green at this bike show I went to... the "DanUp" tour with Fiola and a bunch of guys. It was sponsored by Dannon yogurt pushing this new drink DanUp.. I sold my GT to my neighbor and spent DAYS out in front of my house on that HAro doing my best to destroy my knew and elbows... GOOD TIMES MAN !
NICE ! beautiful rides :-) I have 1 oldschool bmx, it's a 1979 Schwinn Scrambler 36-36... metallic red, and roughly 70 to 75% original, not in the greatest shape but not roached with rust XD lol. but the only way it goes anywhere is if I am dead.
i wonder if you took the lines and dimensions of a ghp or hutch and modernized the drop outs and headsets and bars etc if someone today could actually race competitively amongs other pros be cool to see because those 80's bikes were super unique and good looking
few days ago i bought a SCHWINN SUPERSTOCK :D im in love
silvision Nice!!
Bmx bikes have really improved
I used to own that black Ace Holeshot cruiser I should have never let that one go!
My Fave the PK RIPPER with Z-Rims
top redline bikes
Found a damaged PK Ripper at Frankenbike in Austin for $60, sent it to The Frame Doctor, fixed for $150.
excellent video thanks
"Drooling video."
Ah, the memories of my teenage years. Man I had some cool bikes, i.e., a Hutch, a GT, 2 Redlines. Makes me wish I still had them.
Great job. I loved the mx2 redline (black and gold),all team blue mongoose, blue quad super.
Thanks!
VERY classic House song there sir!
My favorite oldschool bikes are the PK Ripper, Kuwahara Laser Lite (mainly because of the sticker sets) and the ultimate bmx bike... the Hutch Pro Star.
as a teenager it was always my dream to own a nice bmx bike, never happened but still cool looking at them.
The SE Quadangle with landing gear forks was my favorite bike to see!
nice black redline..thanks for sharing the great video.would love to own it
Cool thanks for watching!
I just love watching these vintage bmx videos! Why the heck would there be 7 idiots that would not like this video?
Urrggh - that candy blue Mongoose! Flashback to 1983.
I had a GJS. Cool bike, wish I still had it.
Oh man I so miss my Robinson..
robert knapp .....dont remember the year but I too had a Robinson Team

Would Love To Have All Those Bikes They Are Awesome !!
1985 was so much fun! I was the shit with my MONGOOSE!
😱😲I’m in Bike Heaven...I miss riding my Haro Freestyle. Growing up sucks!!
The Skyway with black mags and blue tires, best bike there, followed by the white GT Preformer. Id love to have either of those today.
Word, those builds were sick!
My 1st bmx bike was DG then a mongoose now sitting for 12 years in the garage k2 shovel video was awesome
Never heard of it before...but that white Kastan bike after the blue Quad...was lookin sweet as fuck..
Yeah that Kastan was sick!! I always wanted one.
Totally Rad, Cherry!
I miss thd old all chrome bikes. I Liked the diamond back
Quadangle & PK ripper where bikes I lusted over, but my aero burner was my trusty steed.Good Times.
Where do you get the top tube and headset covers at? I used to be able to find them on ebay but I can't find them anymore. I have an old Open Road BMX bike and it needs loving.
I had a GT Performer..vertigo...SE Racing...Mongoose Blue max
SE! The Ripper!!
l owned a DP Firebird, with blue arayas and an Elina lightning bolt seat, l had tioga grippa tyres on. Loved that bike, great times, great era the 80's.
Not one Schwinn Sting...but they were too expensive for most parents and kids back then. Even in 1982 the frame and fork were $500...still have my Sting made in April of 1980, just got Graphite Tuffs for it and started racing again after 30 years. Funny how some guys say I need a new skool frame when they're finishing behind me...
Prostyler on slicks 😍
Thanks!!
Are these shows not being done anymore? Restoring my 1984 GT Pro Performer now.
What were the tags hanging from the handlebars? They had numbers on them. Were people selling their bikes there? I saw a couple I would kill to have!!
nice film work
+cee dee Thank you!
Nice bro 👍🏻
Man I had to have a ripper. still have that bad boy, but I also had a nickel plated super goose that was sweet too. Gboy in the 70's was cold blooded as well, but it was stolen. Makes me want to restore
I BOUGHT A MINT ALL ORIGINAL BOSS USA AND LOVING IT
I use to tubular ade bmx. I had a gt. I cant find one like the one I had. It was silver or grey but... the tires were really thin.
Where is this I would like to go and show of my 1983 diamondback, I love BMX bike especially old ones. It’s sad that no kids my age(15) like BMX bikes.
Oooh the Kastan. :D
No SE racing basher? Loved the quadangle surprised to only see one GT racing bike and it was a pro performer lol
Fun video....ps where's the diamond back turbo black chrome Harry Leary style?
We got two of these for our daughters czcams.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L the same size for age 6 and 9. It works very well for both girls. Gears were very easy for them to learn. Changing gears up takes some hand strength and is a bit hard, but they are learning. They did not come with water bottle holders- we actually got confused and thought the Derailler Guard was the bottle holder!! Regardless of these details, the bikes are fantastic- even our six year old who only just learned to ride bikes caught on within an hour of practice and loves it. Lightweight and easy for them to handle. All the parts are in excellent condition and the bikes are easy to assemble and very well packaged. Great choice for kids!
Compete bikes should ship with pedals
So I've bought a all original pro concept Ex+ With superlite weight factory parts on it , I'd like to find out its year and maybe a value, anybody that can help me out there?
Love this video. I started racing BMX in 87 I'm 42 now and i still race today. If anyone is interested in maybe doing a business venture on collecting old school bikes and reselling them let me know. ✌and God bless everyone and stay safe. #dirtsharks
Nice! Check out BMXMuseum. You might find someone on there that might be down
Beautifull
Should have never gotten rid of my Kuwahara 😢
Mine didn’t have all that red stuff on it... bike didn’t need it.
80s BMX days were awesome!!
The fountain of youth is old school BMX. Were these for sale? some of the tags said 200 or 400 or was that for judging a contest?
+Diabolik771 The tags were for the show they were in. Most of the bikes were show bikes but some were for sale.
so shiny...so chrome...#witness!
Chrome life !
Like to see bmx hutch and redline and gt mongoose diamondback
Maybe this year!
Haha yes back in the day of hight seat poles and forward leaning handle bars 🤣🤣
No CW, no Pattersons? Elf? Great video though. Makes me wish I had my old PK back...
I think damn near all CW Phase 1's broke in half LOL!! I kick myself for selling my in 86!! Probably one of the rarest frames around.
@2:54 What is that make n model?
