- 2021 annual Armada Mi Old School BMX bike show and swap meet is always a good time. Lots of great bikes, great people and I even tied for third in the bunny hop contest.
It was a pretty RAD day. Big THANKS to everyone who helped make this show happen.

This was my life most of the 90's till about 2001. I can't believe I'm looking at it like a vintage car show of ancient history. Time flew by.

@@siTTinLo true, I have been riding some again. My son is almost 15 now. We started going to Ray's indoor bike park in Cleveland, close to where we live. I picked up a nice mountain bike too. I'm almost 43, but still in fine enough shape to ride.
Nice. MTB is fun too and if you grew up riding BMX then you already have an advantage when it comes to mountain biking. You are very fortunate to have Rays nearby as well. I try to go there at least 3-5 times during the winter.

I had almost all them bikes before don't forget the bike you never see anywhere is the VDC mine was chrome or PK ripper.
My main bike was the 20" GT interceptor with GT Superlace sealed bearing Hubs, Redline Flight Cranks 185, Dyno Drain Pipe Seat Post I forgot what rims they was with chrome sparkly spokes.
I was the dare devil on BMX bikes fun times I really miss them days.
Reminds me of the movie "Rad" one of the best bmx movie to this day

Oh wow so crazy.hutch trickstar,generals,gt performer,haro sport,cw,kuahara and redline.they go for so much today.i miss them bikes.tidays bikes are boring.they don't have much to them.like we tricked out our bikes back then.looking for the best parts or unique ones that nobody in our neighborhood had.now they don't even have brakes or gyros and shit.seats all low.like we needed ours to be a certain height to match the handle bars.so you could use one hand to grab the grip and front of seat to do a trick.we used the breaks alot for tricks to control the bike.we had all kinds of tricks to make the pads work better.
U can see the bikes with white tires are wall hangers! Lol. Beautiful bikes though!

I liked them all but if I have to pick 1 it would the Gold SE Quad frame that sitting behind a group of bikes or the Wood Grain SE towards the end 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

The bike at 8:40 is the same bike I got in about 1980. I still have it and ride it to this day. The difference is my frame decals were blue. And I've long since traded that hard plastic seat for a soft cushioned seat.

12:47 Race Inc. I would love to go to a show like this. We don't have an old school bmx seen on Maui. Restored my 1979 RA8 ten years ago pretty sure it's the only one in Hawaii.
You should organize an old school BMX bike show. This entire event was sporadically created by one individual and a couple of Bmx forum and social media posts. An old school Bmx bike show in Hawaii would be incredible.

You don’t live in Leeds do you?, I got a redline for my birthday and I found out that it was from the back of a truck,it was bare frame coloured with red anodised aluminium fittings
The Mongoose and the Roger Decoster are definitely Old School. Bikes from my era are the DGs, the Jammin' Jimmy Weinerts, and the bikes made by the motorcycle companies like Yamaha, Kawasaki, and Suzuki.
That is some OLD SCHOOL for sure.. 50lb steel tanks with dual shocks in the rear and a bread loaf seat. 👍

I have not seen any bites like the dino 25th anniversary bike but I have in the basement and the mongoose they have the brakes on the bottom
