Splinter got such a HUGE upgrade once you realize he's horrible at the start because he's going through a character arc. We meet him at his lowest point and he has to "Rise" just as much as the turtles. I love that for him instead of him just being the perfect sensei.
To be honest rise is my favorite version of the turtles

We NEED a Season 3. Lots of questions got unanswered after the movie. Give the Rise Of The TMNT show and the movie a chance on Netflix. Supposedly if it gets it’s numbers up in ratings before September 1st we MIGHT get a Season 3. Help spread the show on social media!
Yeah, there’s some things to unpack. Like how Krang got sent to the prison realm what if there were some chunks of them left behind. We especially need more flashbacks of Casey’s life.

I like splinter because he represents the affects of unresolved childhood trauma and how it affects in the present no matter how old you are so it makes sense why he was a poor father at the beginning and grew because he realized he wasn’t lost anymore and actually started to care
