Excellent video. Yeah, Michael Bay's TMNT is an abomination; and not just the Turtles themselves, but just about every character.
Also, personally, I don't like the Turtles being big (not even Raphael). The major appeal of the TMNT originally was that they subverted expectations; they're turtles, they're small, they're teens, and trained by a rat in the sewers. These are enough reasons for anyone to rationally underestimate the Ninja Turtles.
I think, after a few decades, we forgot how inherently ridiculous the TMNT is as a concept, and people want to then depict them as larger-than-life super warriors, completely dismissing the underdog appeal that attracted fans in the first place.
In any other comic book series, the Turtles would be the semi-competent sidekick, or even as the disposable creature of the week.

I need someone to explain to me why are the turtles different turtles? I thought they were brothers. Raph is a snapping turtle? And I Leo is a Red stripe turtle? Donnie a soft shell turtle? That doesn't make sense.
They're Not blood related Brothers. They never we're. In Rise Its Made a Lot more obvious than the other Shows/movies
