Wolverine definitely meant to make it a non-lethal attack. The whole point of the mission was to get Magneto to undo the damage of his EMP. He cant do it if hes dead. He intended to stun him long enough to buy more time for Gold team to stop Bastion, and to get Magneto to release Blue team so the Professor could resume his mind attack.
His quote about the "brave dying first" wasn't meant for Magneto. It was meant for himself.

Writers do the same with Galactus and surfer where they constantly get beat by lower characters. I saw recently where storm almost knock surfer out in outer space with lightning. In X-Men #25 (1993), at the culmination of the "Fatal Attractions" storyline, the supervillain Magneto forcibly removes the adamantium from Wolverine's skeleton. This massive trauma causes his healing factor to burn out and also leads to the discovery that his claws are actually bone. Wolverine leaves the X-Men for a time, embarking on a series of adventures during which his healing factor returns.

Said this elsewhere, but I wish the writers would have included Claremont's Greek quotes during this scene between Wolverine and Magneto. They really set the mood for what happens.

It's definitely Onslaught. It was a huge character in the 90s, and they won't pass over the chance to showcase one of their biggest stories. Especially since they're running out of material because they covered so many other stories already.
The biggest damage here is done to Rogue's character.
Wolverine will be fine next episode. He just lost his metal bones. He’ll recover after the battle although he’ll be using his bone claws from now on. Can’t say the same for Jean Grey being fine next episode as she’s dead. But she’ll come back next season along with Gambit, as Jean is the Rider of War and Gambit is the Rider of Death under the command of Apocalypse.
I like they did comics scene Magneto remove Wolverine adamantium but I hope Wolverine survived that if he does he will have bone claws and also I hate Magneto Professor X Cyclops Rouge and Sunspot they are reason if Wolverine did not survive or this pain he went through but I find weird that Morph can turn into Hulk if so why he never used it before or use Magneto form he could reverse change himself
In the comics he does survive having the adamantium removed from his bones by magneto
In comics he had a depressed arc following a feral arc and finally being a horsemen of apocalypse
And morph could only copy physical mutations. Then again I find it weird that he can turn to Juggernaut coz dude is a avatar not a mutant.
It appears he can only mimic the strength of those he turns into. Not kinetic power of any kind.

In TOLERANCE EXTINCTION (Part 1) they foreshadow the "Fatal Attraction" event by drawing wolverine W/ bone claws in his right hand at time stamp 29:00 when Professor X arrives. He & Nightcrawler are standing in the door way when he pops bone claws.
This is a great opportunity for Wolverine to developed on his own, maybe into his own series.
I always liked bone claws Wolverine anyway.
If they, however use this as an opportunity to bait and switch and supplant him with X23 I am out.

I blame cyclops he should have let Charles did his thing to take out magneto and now Wolverine is severely hurt because of him ain’t no body letting that slide.
If Cyclops didn’t stop him the Prime Sentinels would’ve gotten back up and they would’ve had a whole other problem to deal with.
He did that because Scott saw Jean's demise. He saw the other team was down. HE stopped Charles from controlling Magneto to reverse the effects of his EMP because it would revive the Prime Sentinels. They just can't. Scott did a bold move.

Great episode! But keep your guard up people. Rogue referred to Morph as “them” instead of he as he has been referred to in the original episodes. Tolerance really is extinction and if you keep tolerating this woke junk then little inserts like this will spiral out of control and this great series will go extinct.
I'm failing to see the correlation here. What does Rogue referring to Morph have to do with this scene in particular? For starters, you sound mad stupid and ignorant. The world is not going to end because of a fictional character being referred to as "they/them". On top of that, the change isn't even outlandish as you're trying to make it out to be. Morph is a SHAPESHIFTING mutant, it shouldn't matter if they go specifically as "he/him" or "she/her" if that's not there preference. If anything it makes sense to go gender-neutral/non-binary because they can take on any form. It's really not that hard to grasp. Another thing, you need to look up the definition of woke because just like you and anyone else that misinterprets the term just show that you all share a single brain cell.
If you are looking for an excuse to have a political grumble, this is not a good starting point. X-men was woke before anyone worried about "woke-ness agendas" even knew of the word to start being upset about it. It was just inherently part of the whole idea behind the existence of the x-men in the first place. It has always been baked in to the conflicts mutants face from fear and discrimination, and this series is already slated for several additional seasons. And, seeing as how he can literally become any other people he wants to be that can claim a "he/she/it" identity at will, if anyone, Morph is probably the most "they/them" person that could ever claim the pronoun.
