How To Fix A Kill Switch! Evinrude Or Johnson 9.5HP1969-73! Read Description For Tricky Install!

In this video I repair a magneto kill switch on a 9.5 style motor. I did find out after making this video that you have to actually install the panel on the engine first.Then install button thru panel and cowling & then the nut goes on , tighten nut to inner cowl & then solder or crimp the magneto ends Crazy! This wire repair will work on many other motors that have the plastic kill button style and can be installed normally as complete part. Had some sound issues with the right channel with no volume and hiss so I added music to the 1st soldering segment instead of redoing the video.

Wire broke off of pin, nothing to solder too. How do you get the pins out of the connector?

Was going to tackle that issue but most times theres enough wire to solder to after cleaning.Pins can be pulled out im sure going to try that someday....
