From an englishman, by a country mile Flower of Scotland is THE best anthem of them all. Moving , rousing and pasionate, everything an anthem should be.

When my nana and papa passed away 8 years ago we had the family piper March and play this beautiful tune as they was brought in the church.
I carried both my nana and papa and I will never forget the feeling of them pipes playing as I carried two amazing people to rest! They was so very proud to be Scottish and I am to ! 🏴

As Romanian (and rugby fan), I totally love this anthem. And although I've already heard it twice being sung live, I very much would like to hear it once in Murrayfield, with the bagpipe stopping and the entire stadium singing the second verse a capella. Btw, after the RWC 2023 Scotland-Romania match in Lille (12-0 tries) I've paraphrased your second verse and suggested it as new Romanian anthem: "This game is past now, and in the past, it must remain".

I’m English and one of my best friends ever was Scottish so when we watched the rugby he’d passionately belt this tune out. Unfortunately I moved schools so we spoke less and then I found out he had ended his own life and I was crushed. This song brings him back, thank you for everyone who sings it with the same heart he did.
Probably the most passionate anthem in the world and yet there are some who would like to change it. Goodness knows why.

I'm Italian and went watching Scotland - Italy at Murrayfield on Saturday (18/03/2023), and, great match aside (congratulations for winning of course!) the moment the whole Scot side of the stadium stood up and sang this anthem, I was having goosebumps the whole time. Come on Scotland!
I wasnt born in scotland, not a single bit of my heritage comes from this island but i was raised here i grew up here i live here this country is all ive ever known i feel this culture as my own im stand proud as i sing next to my scottish brothers and sisters
