Sorry I'm lagging a bit again; my work schedule when I'm out of town is screwing horribly with my viewing time. I really hope I'll be able to catch the Legion stream tomorrow.
Thanks for all your incredible insights into the series as a whole, particularly:
-The progressively and radically deteriorating run time of episodes, particularly compared with TOS and other shows of its time, as advertisers demand a bigger and bigger chokehold. This particularly bugged the crap out of me when I used to watch Arrow and The Flash.
-Enterprise did just fine within its budget. I completely agree with you on the updated Original Series; I think the effects add something enjoyable without taking away from the integrity of the episodes. Disney enjoys showing off how much money they can afford to flush, but that's no guarantee of a decent product. You're right not to compare Star Trek with anything other than Star Trek, and the current spate of content creators shouldn't try to make it over in anything else's image.
-Any member of this cast would be worth going to a con to meet in person! They were a perfect ensemble, and I'm glad they were never changed.
