- In this video I explore the market in Masindi Town Uganda. I meet some of the local people selling fruits, clothes etc in the market. An old lady threatened to beat me with her stick 😅😅😅 and I got a delicious Rolex "rolled eggs".

Hehehe the Old lady just killed me with laughter. Phil she asked you to buy for her sugar, because in our Ugandan communities its a norm for the younger people to buy sugar for the elderly, they usually have a sweet tongue in that generation therefore they drink tea a lot(with sugar), enjoy sweet snacks like cakes and other sweetened foods 🥰

Runyoro / Rutooro is a major language in Bunyoro Kingdom. 8:36 the cute old lady wants to beat you. Have you tried the maize flour porridge in Uganda, it's like a daily subsistence food, many school children have. They have served with water but it's also produced with milk. It's probably too ordinary to be served in restaurants but if you find it I'm sure folks would love to know how it compares to Scots oats.
