hi! sir, what is the ideal CO2 setting for I installed a double gun MiVV canister? THanks. Is it recommendable to change the CO2 setting after installing an aftermarket pipe? Thanks
@lainetmcvlog I've got a 2014, just got it. It has an M4 exhaust (no cat) and power commander. Is the CO adjustment still recommended even with a power commander?
It only works ok pre 15 or 16 bikes. Anything older you can't do this and it involves a remap. I'd personally recommend a remap anyway, it's worth every penny
Bro my bike with stock exhaust is running hot. Used to hv Akra pipe on. But hv since changed to stock exhaust and it is running hot. Can i know what setting for stock exhaust
It might improve it mate. Go into the menu and take note of what they're all set to then change them and see if you notice a difference. If you don't. Just set them back
I have an xjr and all cylinders are all over the place. From -7 to +16. What is the correct number? Is this changing the mix? Can I go richer for the summer? Thanx!
Hi, does anybody know how to do the adjustments on the tracer 900 gt. The GT does not have the two buttons but uses the wheel to scroll through the options but I cannot find a combination to access the Co2 settings.
You're in luck. The bike I've owned the last 2 years is a 2019 tracer GT haha. You can't. It can only be done on the computer. You shouldn't have a need to do this. I've had a scorpion full system (with no cat) on my bike with no issues and have just gone back to the original exhaust. The O2 sensor seems to adjust the fuel mixtures well. You're only option to get it absolutely perfect is to take it to someone that can Dyno it, sort your fueling and get your bike flashed with the woolich racing flash. It will make a night and day differene.
This doesn’t seem to work on my 2016 MT09. I checked the kill switch, had both buttons down and turned ignition on, but nothing appears. Tried for up to 20 sec too. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong
Models over 16 I believe you're unable to do this. It can only be done via getting the bike flashed with the Woolwich race flash and they'll correct your air fuel ratio. Trust me when I say this, getting your bike flashed and remapped will completely change it for the better. The difference it makes is outstanding. 6 months after I uploaded this video I sold my MT for a GS. Biggest mistake of my life. I now have a Tracer GT 2019. It's bloody incredible.

Hey everybody: before you comment that this isn't working, it only works on 13-16, according to the video owner.
I’ve tried this on my 2017 plate MTO9, but it doesn’t seem to work? I’ve pushed down both buttons for about 20secondes, doesn’t seem to work.

I have evo rapid system om my mt09 2015. And it also have a akrapovic system. My co is 0 . Do i need to adjust it?

Why we change co2;
So if you do this you'll need no remapping or to get a ECU ? if you put a new exhaust

@@ShiteLines Yes, but just to be clear, this basically eliminates problems that a no remap could cause right?
Great vid..Mines a 2015 with titanium Akrapovic underneath.I keep the baffle in always..do I need to change these settings also ?
I'm not sure the 15s have the option but I'd have thought the answer to that would be yes due to it being an aftermarket akra.
@@ShiteLines I just checked..Yes it does have the settings and they are all 3 cylinders set to 0
@@jamier8244 try them all on 14 mate
LaineYMCVlog hi I can’t seem to get into the mode - I’m using 2018. Is there a different mode entry ? Or Yamaha had removed the function? Thanks
@@shukrijai7783 you can't do it on newer models.

Should just be 0 across all 3 M8. that's what mines was.

Thanks a million bro
I have a 2015 MT-09 with a full Decat & baffle removed scorpion system, it pops and bangs like nuts will this help to control this without a remap ??

vourkosdude 0 should be default. 14 for akra pipe (or better free flowing exhaust full system) or 17 if you have an exhaust and custom air filter.
Would you do this after installing an akropovic carbon full system exhaust without running a piggy back fuel commander?
dvsv88u yup
LaineYMCVlog awesome thanks. Just fitted the akra carbon full system set to +14. Runs sweet. Smoother and cooler now. Cheers
dvsv88u and what about your fuel consumption?
doesn't work on my European 2019 MT-09. Don't know if it's the model, that it's a European model (Euro4 regulations and all) or something else.
No it doesn't. 2013 to 2016 only.
I have the same problem :( The only way to change it is to add a new map to the ECU

Thanks for the reply, just fitted a full decat Black Widow system hopefully the Co2 sensor will compensate for the new exhaust.
will that work on a XSR 900?
jose escobar I'm not sure mate I'd expect so as it's very similar and made off the same range but don't quote me on it.
I have the same issue.
My 2019 doesn’t seem to have this? Did they lock it behind some dealer code, or did they remove it from the ECU for the newer models?
They removed possibility to change this
Why doesn't the that work for me? I hold it down and regular screen
what year is your bike. It only works on 13-16 as far as i'm aware.
That's why. Mines a 2019

itsretlig does your model have traction control?
LaineYMCVlog yes it does
Mine won’t do it?!? 2016 TC model
2016 and up don't have this anymore. Yamaha took it out. You have to use a ODB2 scanner with a Yamaha cable and Yamaha software
@@blah012345678 that sounds expensive
Who is CO2? Thx
Maybe thinner air at higher elevation, needs more or less then sea level, just guessing
