Interesting, I was curious about the C5 suspension. Practically every C5 I found for sale recently have leaks in the suspension cylinders. It's incredible that Citroen have been making hydropneumatic suspension since 1954 and it never failed in this way in the past and now in their final version is fails... My 1968 ID20 hydraulics were near perfect - the 4 suspension cylinders could be removed fairly easily and dismantles without special tools, the only thing that needed replaced was the outer rubber flex cover. 20 minute job.. Same story with my 1993 Xantia. It's a pity.

I have bought another one but wanted to ask you how I might go about rebuilding the old ones and where you get parts for the rebuild etc. I have also been informed that Citroen has only a limited number left and the price is continuing to rise.
