    Been carrying wiha screwdrivers in my toolbag for industrial control panels for about 25 years. They have some magnificent hardened tips on the normal insulated high voltage screwdrivers.

    I have the Wiha Tradesmen 26in1 ultradriver and it lives on my belt all day, as a low volt tech it’s incredibly handy, and handles my screwdriving except precision work. I recently purchased the security ultradriver bit set so I’ll be able to swap out the torx and hex for the security variants because I run into a lot of them at work. You can buy sets for all the different ultradrivers for $15 directly from wiha, I recommend getting a backup set to match your driver just in case you loose a much used bit, that way you can replace it right away instead of waiting on shipping.

      @@maxlvledc I lost the ph1&2 bit today at work and went hunting for replacement bits, wasted a lot of time looking on KC tool and amazon, you just so happened to post a couple hours after I ordered new bits from wiha.

    The Fixit stick is a very clever design too 👍

    I like the fix it sticks kit! Wolf Tooth also has bike tools that could be EDC. They make a bit kit made to fit in handle bars ..and a bit holder pliers made for bike chains, that is nice and flat, and would be real nice if it was made with a regular pliers head....

    • @maxlvledc
      @maxlvledc  Před 2 lety +1

      I saw that! In fact it's already on the list in description. I can't buy them all, so I had to be selective. Wait till you see the microdriver I found!

    Look in to the Klein Tools 14 in 1 screw driver/nut driver model 32314. For roughly $15 you get 6 nut drivers and double sided bits and all fits in to a medium size screwdriver with a rotating end cap. Good multipurpose screwdriver for the money and EDC.

    • @maxlvledc
      @maxlvledc  Před 2 lety +2

      Yep! Check the full list, it's in there. I bought these because they represent an extreme. The Klein is excellent value

    Anyone know if the Wiha bits fit in the fixit sticks? Or does the double ended nature make them too long?

  • @jtg_edc
    @jtg_edc Před 2 lety

    It looks like the fixitstick has a hole on the end. Can you stick one of the metal pieces in it and use the bit holder as a handle?

    • @maxlvledc
      @maxlvledc  Před 2 lety +1

      I don't think so...but I want a 1/4 inch bit to connect them in series!

    Hey man, love the new video. Out of the three screwdrivers, the FIXITSTICKS interests me a lot. Love the WiHa btw, they're very good. But I think I would EDC the FixIt's more. And one more thing, I think the bit compartment on the FixIt might actually serve or designed to work as an inline handle for the driver. I think I saw a hex slot on one end, probably on both, not sure. But anyways, great review video once again. 🔥🙌🏼

    If you pause on 8:30 you can see that Fixit sticks holder has hex slot in it,
    I assume you can shove the "stick" there and turn it into regular strait screwdriver. Not sure how well it would work since it's relatively soft.
