Btw, Sai admitted to Naruto that it was his influence that lead her to do it. Which means he knows her damn pretty well and he understood whatâs going on and why sheâs doing that. Because the whole Team 7 was affected by what Sasuke has become in Shippuden. I understood that Sakura was overwhelmed with emotion and overwhelmed by recent events, but that's what makes all of the decisions she makes in this arc all the more stupid but that was totally trying to play with Naruto's feelings => hence the joke in my 1st comment.
And Sai made himself misunderstood but it is clear that he was not manipulating her. Why tf would he and Shikamaru do that? He was just fed up with seeing Naruto suffer for everyone.

I appreciate so much how carson i able to spot little changes in the direction or the animation from eoisode to episode besides the "BIG EPISODES" that the majority of the anime community know about but also the other hidden awesome sequences in partial pierrot episodes and subcontracted episodes supervised by pierrot. And i appreciate the long discussion as well and fhe little spot he always finds to point out the animation of certain scenes.

I think it is the other way around, after the fight of Naruto vs Orochimaru, Yamato questions Sakura about her feeling with Naruto, then the scene ends, I think Yamato only found a bad time for her to say that, since he saw it that Naruto was carrying a great psychological burden.

WTF ? Sai did the right fuckin' thing, he only said facts. He said what he had to say as a friend because he sees Naruto suffers and that's it. He never said "You're the only reason Naruto suffers so much", he said "Don't you think you're a part of it ?". But Sakura being the self centered teenager she is thinks everything is only about her. Sai didn't compare Sakura to his Curse Mark, he compared the way Naruto feels to what he feels with DanzĂŽ's Curse Mark. And the fact that she needed to hear that from Sai to understand it just show how little attention she puts towards Naruto's feelings. She acts as if she didn't know Naruto was in love with her and really thinks Naruto is still trying to get Sasuke back only because of this promise he made. Does she even know Naruto at this point ? Ah yes. The episode with everyoneâs favorite Sakura moment. Iâve never hated her as a character, and I still donât. But this was def her worst moment. I understand why she did it, considering her prior talk with Sai, but itâs still fucked and she should have just been honest.

Naruto obviously didnât tell Sai that he did it for himself though, in the flashback they showed he explicitly said âI couldnât even keep my promiseâ to Sai so why does that promise not matter now? Itâs simple, the author messed up while writing.

In a sense it was Sai's fault. He was the one told Sakura what happen after Karui beaten him up after Naruto begged him not. He too was able to tell how much Sakura meant to Naruto. His confession not to mention his classmates determination to eliminate Sasuke, overall push Sakura to this reckless decision.

I think what sakura did was totally normal, sai had just told her it was all his fault and that the promise as the problem and she belived him. She is desperate and everything she thought she could do was to release naruto from his promise like that. The thing is, this wasn't supposed to be how much Sakura is willing to do for Naruto. It wasn't supposed to be about her. You can debate whether Sai was right or wrong to butt in, but he pointed out that Sakura doesn't notice Naruto's suffering and her participation in it. So they were supposed to take action to alleviate Naruto's burdens. So Sakura may have had Naruto's well-being in mind when she did this. You can say she's young, immature, and can make mistakes, but she just proved how she doesn't know Naruto at all, even though she's the closest person to him.

Yes, she made a stupid decision to lie to Naruto, but in her place how would you stop Naruto from going after Sasuke?
You don't...anyone with a properly working brain would know that no one will ever stop naruto from wanting to save sasuke. A good part of why this was so infuriating was the fact that she somehow thought naruto was doing this entirely for her...as if sasuke meant nothing to him otherwise. The only way anyone would ever stop naruto was if they physically retrained him

After rewatching the talk with Sai a few episodes ago, I'm in a more forgiving mood than I was when I first saw this. Also, Naruto remided her of the promise she made to her several times. It doesn't make the actual scene any easeir to watch, but it makes it feel less infuriating whenever I think about it.

meh i still love sakura, girl tried to break the promise she made to naruto, also this arc overall is very tough on her but its kishi for blame, imagine if she awakened her byakugou during the fight thats incoming... sasuke weakend as fuck she couldve done some damage, but nah kishi decides to make her meet one fail after another in this arc, to be fair she made the perfect entry for naruto and kakashi which... the show is more about them.

No hes not mature enough, even at this point as the one who is in akatsuki and took killer bee as far as he knows he is still going after him and trying to bring him back to the leaf when hes already way beyond that point. Sai pretty much told her it was all her fault because of the promise it didn't come out of her own realization. If Sai didn't say anything, she probably wouldn't have done this. Naruto's "love" for sakura was never really serious either way, nothing more than a crush. So I never understood the whole "breaking" naruto's heart angle
@@mint437 Where did I say that Sakura broke his heart? He literally gets over it almost immediately and never brings it up again. I said she went about it the wrong way especially because she knows how naruto feels about her? Sai said EVERYONE relies on naruto too much and he let Sakura know her part in that Iâm not even saying she was aware because naruto makes you feel like he can do anything and everything and carry the world on his shoulders with no problem but we see moments where naruto feels that weight but he rarely expresses it to others. Naruto grows so much from the moment he finds out Jiraya died to his conversation with nagato at the end of the pain arc you may have missed that and he seemed to understand when he returned to the village and spoke to the others even though he asked them to leave sasuke to him he understood and respected his friends point of view
I thought sakura was under utilized before this episode... but this was the final straw for me, I seriously hate her, I want more tenten instead.

@user-sw9ly9ps4o Idk Kasekage Rescue Arc, she was very helpful and mature. Took care of healing Kankuro and even helped take down an akatski member... After that she slowly regressed to being useless and Sasukes obsessed and this was rock bottom.
