@@dj_ps_gamer1324 I'm one of them. I get not enjoying her character in og, but the hate for her beyond that is just dumb and tired imo. She get's so much better as character in shippuden ( which may not say much but still ), and in boruto there's literally no reason to hate on her anymore.

She doesn’t want to, she feels as tho she needs to. They’ve already explained this, she’s going alone to shoulder the burden alone bc of feeling like she relies on naruto.
And take a moment to consider that Sakura still thought it was a better plan to go alone even after Kiba said "And that guy Tobi is right next to him !". So as far as she knows, she will see a Sasuke even more dangerous than 6 months ago, who has the mysterious masked man with a Sharingan, who wiped the floor with their entire team the last time they met, by his side.
While she certainly doesn't think she can beat them, how can she even think for a second that she would be able to manipulate Sasuke who knows her very well, and Tobi who manipulates everyone in the Akatsuki's shadow since we do not know how long?

Well, first of all, I think Carson's response to Lindsay about Sakura's acting was fantastic. She, faithful to her premise of being a temperamental girl, immature and honest with her feelings (that is why she is so bad at lying), finally decided to act, even if it involved lying to those close to her so as not to continue involving them as she felt she did with Naruto ( which by the way, Sai also has a lot of guilt for pestering her with the idea of unrequited love). Many followers of "Naruto" discredit Sakura by considering her a hateful person who does not know her place in the plot; However, I think Kishimoto knew how to portray her very well in this situation, which is very complicated from her point of view: She feels guilty that Naruto is obsessed with saving Sasuke and that is why he lied to her, although she is bad at lying. . She left her companions sleeping so as not to expose them to a battle that, surely, she knew they would not win (and what about "but they were equally defenseless in the middle of the road" seems to me like an argument taken with tweezers to continue hating her), in addition to showing her helpless for a chance to get close to him (which was surely his original plan). Yes, she was immature and maybe she didn't do the right thing, but that doesn't mean she's a lousy character. Come on, there are characters in this series who have done worse things, it was enough for them to tell their sad past for not be punished and then all the fans have ended up loving them, so up to this point Sakura has only shown that she has a lot to learn about the feelings of others and that if you really do not want good people to be hurt, you must work with the truth and become stronger. Again, thanks Carson for saying what you said, I don´t need to repeat it here XD
And yeah, I already watched Naruto and I know everything that happen next, so don´t spoil or insinuate anything, respect this channel´s rules.

sakura doesn't know sasuke is almost blind, or that he has the mangekyo, or that he actually wants to destroy the leaf and therefore is her direct enemy. the only thing she knows is that he's an international criminal because he attacked killer b and joined the akatsuki. she wasn't there when tobi explained itachi's truth to naruto kakashi and yamato.

also does anyone else find it weird that they were able to find sasuke's location with kiba's nose instantly? like for 3 years they couldn't do shit and had no idea where he was but now when sakura says "im gonna look for sasuke" they can track him immediately.
@@andersonbucker1856 He was in the general area and Kiba picked up on that alongside the fact that Kiba has improved his tracking, it's the timing of it all that is mighty convenient, I agree with you there. It's not like 12 year old Kiba was always randomly around Orochimaru's bases to track Sasuke.
I think it would have been worse, the four of them don't know that sasuke has susano and the magekyo sharingan... sasuke still has enough chakra for susano and he would attack them surprising them, maybe they would not react in time and there kakashi could not save everyone....

Actually, I agree with Lindsey. It's, at the very best, a really dumb move from Sakura.
I mean, she claims she wants to kill Sasuke, but gets rid of her own team (what about everything she learnt about teamwork ?) and goes alone thinking she can handle this without back up, while she learnt in the FIRST ARC of shippuden how dangerous it is to try to take on a sharingan user alone. And from her perspective (I insist on that), this same sharingan user was able to dispatch Orochimaru, Deidara and Itachi, 3 very dangerous ninja who were well above her league. And despite all of this she is just like "I'll handle him alone". That just doesn't make sense for her character who is supposed to be intelligent.
If makes a lot more sense if you take it from a meta point of view. Kishimoto didn't want those random secondary characters there, because they would ruin the mood. So he made an excuse for Sakura to get rid of them.
@@alex-rs6ts Which doesn't work from a storytelling point of view. Naruto is supposed to tell a story which must makes sense for the sake of suspension of disbelief. If Kishimoto wanted to get rid of Kiba, Lee and Sai, it shouldn't have been by Sakura's hand. It's just bad writing, and it makes Sakura an inconsistent character who forgot about everything she learnt from her past experience just to force a Sakura/Sasuke interaction.

we learn form naruto that clones dont give the information to each other until the clone jutsu is undone. sai can relay info from the clones to himself without undoing the jutsu making it a plothole or an unexplained ability that only sai's clones have.
Maybe ink clones are different, we have seen sai send his little ink rats for scouting and i think at least 2 times he is able to know if the area where he sent his rat scouts is clear without the rats having returned yet.

@@ombraura9118 i think hinata is trash too. No female character in naruto apart from tsunade is even decent in my opinion. Hinata had no character apart from her infatuation with naruto. Kishimoto can't write female characters but the thing with sakura is that the story tries to show how she is on the same level as naruto or sasuke. If hinata had as much screen time as sakura I would hate her even more than sakura coz her love for Naruto is just as baseless and uninteresting as Sakura's love for sakura. If you want a good story with good female characters maybe watch something else like Claymore.

And at that moment pain was about to kill naruto, while Sasuke was doing his own thing here at this point of time. If sakura tried attacking Sasuke when he was trying to attack the leaf then I wouldn't complain but here sakura had time to form a plan and bring people with her.

To me the play is easy for Sakura, get smart. Sasuke doesn't care for her at this point, she can't beat Sasuke and as we already know Naruto is there besides the promise he made. So if she wants to win she obviously needs good help even if she has to try and trick Naruto by having them take each other out then finishing Sasuke. The way Sakura is going about it is just plain stupid.
Technically if someone is sensitive and skilled enough can perceive as a clon the disruptions in the chakra flow of his original one cause that compromises the stability of the clone which is even harder to maintain and hence easier to perceive if both, the distance from the clon is considerable and the time since the activation of the jutsu increases.

The best plan would be to stalk Sasuke or apply her version of a tracking seed and kill him in his sleep, hoping Madara doesn’t interfere. But that doesn’t make for good tv

Personally I think it is perfectly fine to react on a gut feel. It's a story. You're on a rollercoaster and sometimes it's going so fast that all you can see is a blur - but you probably feel some stuff.
I like how the Konoha 9 are like, we don't know anything about Sasuke, but we're going to kill him.

Wut? What was that weird 180* on your stance about Sakura? Her criticism seemed just fine to me. Her plans were horrible. And it's so ironic, she basically never does anything. Now this one time she acts, and her plans are absolute shit. What a great way to spend your time on the side-lines, thinking up one of the worst plans imagineable at the last second. And then choosing to act on it. She instead spent all of it crying, And that is why she's not protagonist, antagonist, or any sort of MC material.
There are many that hate very heavily on Sakura, I often think they're too harsh. But Sakura is very much not impressive. She's a low-tier support character.
You are asking her to come up with a better plan on the spot. Sakura had fkn years to mull this over, and at least days with the lastest updates on him.
I would have set an ambush, using what I knew of his arrogance. And I would not have disabled my comrades. I would also have consulted Shikamaru, and Naruto. In the end, I would have made sure that me and Naruto could talk to him, and lock him down. Not this haphazard assassination plan, that she's not even emotionally prepared for. Let alone practically prepared.
The path towards finding out what does work, is excluding plans that won't work. She skipped a lot in that department... Your GF here did not. She always thought she and Naruto would be able to save Sasuke. Killing him is a recent development, and she didn't have a lot of time to plan that. Since she can't beat him in a fair fight, she has to try something else. And while her plan may not be good, I can't think of a better one.
The Karin in chunin exams retcon does make sense timeline whise because team 7 took like 5 days I think to cross the Forest of Deth and half of that was before we bummed into Kabuto. So their would be a time where Sasuke would have actually seen Karin. Oh also in the manga it was 1 KICK not 2, 1 kick to take down a giant baer
It didn't make sense because they lost their earth scroll early when Orochimaru destroyed it.

For me the most logical moment is when Sasuke goes to fetch water after the fight against the Sound ninjas. It's the only time Sasuke is alone. I imagine that when he went to fetch water from the river, he heard Karin cry out for help from the forest.
Plus, Sasuke didn't use the Lion's Barrage until the preliminary matches.

I keep thinking that this is such a bad scene from Kishimoto. It shows so clearly how he had no idea how to handle Sakura’s character. All she did was meet up with Sasuke and cry, like always.
I keep thinking that if she actually resolved herself to her plan and actually fought Sasuke, even though she obviously would lose, it would have been so much better for her character. She could have tried doing what Naruto did and hope to convince him to come back to the Leaf during the fight, and fail miserably, but gain new respect for Naruto and what he’s trying to do. It was a great chance for Sakura to be something other than ”in love with Sasuke”, which basically defines her entire character, and for her to actually develop a greater understanding of Naruto and Sasuke’s releationship. Hopefully it could even develop team 7 a little bit more, and possibly even segway into Sakura gaining more foothold within the squad, instead of being a constant burden. Kishimoto didn’t need to do much, just to make Sakura do something. Anything other than what she did.
Instead she became the laughing stock of the series, and the low bar that every modern shounen female lead needs to surpass.

Sakura was completely useless in og Naruto, but in shippuden she came in clutch a couple times. But for the amount of screen time she had, she could have done more. But she’s no longer useless.

Considering that Madara already disapeared before Sakura showed herself, what she should have done is not put to sleep Rock Lee, Sai, Kiba and Akamaru. I think the 4 of them together could have stood a decent enough chance against Sasuke. Especially since Kishimoto does have a tendency to just give characters more power-ups when he feels like it.

Are we forgetting that Sakura initially wanted to come with Sasuke when he first left the village and that he’s damn right aware how obsessed she is with him? If Sasuke isn’t in such fury right now (and spoilers alert, not immune to poison), Sakura’s plan might have actually worked. She didn’t know what’s Sasuke’s going through right now because Kakashi and Yamato decided not to let her know about Itachi (Not saying they should have, just want people to see Sakura’s perspective). If Lee and Kiba went with her, she will likely get them killed (Do people honestly think even the 3 of them stood a chance?). She’s using their past as Team 7 to get to him and whilst it’s not a fool proof plan, it’s the best shot they got with minimal casualties.

No, but that's a pretty solid idea. Mangekyou Sharingan Sasuke is pretty blind so Sakura could've killed him. So, there could be an opening.
Also we have to remember that we think Sakura is annoying because we already know the truth about what she is going to do. From Sasuke's point of view, who has had a long hard day, this might believable.
I agree with that, but Sakura doesn't have the slightest bit of the state Sasuke is in, physically and mentally ... And Sasuke was pretty much in "Fuck the Leaf" mode, especially after all the provocations from Danzô during the fight.

I mean she could’ve kept her team with her. She would’ve had at least half a chance with a team vs by herself. She had no plan whatsoever. She didn’t even know what she was doing. The only thing that she cared about was “shouldering the burden”. If she actually wanted to complete her mission she’d kept her mind on the task at hand with her teammates. That’s the only way they were going to kill Sasuke (more than likely not). Even together it was still going to be a monumental task. One more thing is that Sakura knows that she can’t kill Sasuke. There was no way for her to fight him. She couldn’t even take him by surprise. She was being a complete idiot and what’s worse is that she thought she was right in shouldering the burden instead of coordinating with her squad like a shinobi is trained to do. Now of course she probably wasn’t in the right headspace when she thought about killing Sasuke by herself, which proves she shouldn’t be making decisions. Also Lindsay has every right to hate Sakura, granted it’s a bit extreme. I personally like Sakura but still. Sakura is incredibly annoying here because she fails to see that her best chance of completing her mission is with her teammates. She should’ve stuck to the plan and attacked Sasuke as a team. That was what she should’ve done. I can’t really blame Lindsay for being frustrated with Sakura, especially when she does dumb shit like this.

I mean you can't help but understand Lindsay, Sakura is really annoying. However, Naruto series has quite a few annoying characters, for instance Karin who is probably one of the most annoying characters I've seen in anime.

What he actually says, is that he's an avenger. And the emotional imbalance caused by the Curse Mark, causes him to come to the conclusion that all means are acceptable, if they get him his vengeance. He does sort of go back on that stance later, which is why he doesn't kill Naruto at "The Final Valley."
