love the frantic nature at the beginning of this song since it alerts you that its not just a normal wild spawn and gets you excited for the legendary you've been looking for.
It's the perfect panic noise for a rando nuzlocke
That Mesperit looking at you feels mocking. It knows chasing it around Sinnoh is a pain in the ass.
Mespirit isn't the one who brought joy, it takes it from you and hands it over to someone who won't try to catch it

Didn't really expect it to have a quiet moment right after the intro, it makes the subsequent part louder.
It also gave me anxiety, as it should.
the main tune sounds kinda similar to the spirits' cries. Amazing work, ptsd never sounded better!

I always loved the lore with gen 4 and the lake trio. Its what convinced me to learn all the tricks to catching legendries.
Hearing this theme for the first time after running in the grass searching for Mespirit gave me a rush of excitement I'd never felt before.
That synth in the early part (0:27 - 0:37) is insane holy hell, I love this
I remember finally being able to battle and catch these guys after grinding a crobat up a bunch of levels with mean look so they wouldn't run away
100x better than the BDSP version, it’s lowkey infuriating but ultimately very cool how fans can do it so much better!
By far my favorite "Pokemon encounter" theme and one of the best theme from Gen 4
I LOVE what you did with the melody, adding to the "out of this world" feel without overwhelming the bass line that is just *chef kiss*

Been a really long time since Zame's last remaster of this theme, and I can definitely say he has improved since then. Very fine work on this one!
Part of my top 3 legendary battle themes! The style of this song was very different from the rest of the songs in that gen so it stood out like a sore thumb. Trance vs Blues/Jazz and Chamber Music. In the subsequent gen they pumped way more trance songs (like Colress theme and XY gym battle) and you can definitely see the influence (maybe Deoxys theme too, hm!)
I've never been particularly fond of the Lake Trio, they've always felt particularly bland to me (though I do like Azelf generally). That being said, their battle theme was always pretty cool and this version is even better.

Well, this is unexpected. This remaster feels so real and alive, but smoother than the other forms I have heard it as. Lovely work on this remaster Zame! Keep up the amazing work!
P.s. the first time I heard this theme was in Diamond and liked the B2W2 version more. But this remaster trumps them all!

PLA doesn't use soundfonts, it uses VSTs. Pokemon games haven't used soundfonts since BW2. Or I guess ORAS but they weren't MIDIs
