- We are obsessed with this Japanese Bakery, located in the Ward area in Honolulu Hawaii. Weve been there three times already and we’ve tried most of their items, and are simply some of the best bread we’ve had on the island.
Unlike many bakeries, they bake their breads all day long, ensuring you get the freshest bread anytime you visit. Using only high-quality ingredients like Hokkaido flour, each creation is perfection. Check out Okayama Kobo and let us know which items were your favorite!

Guys, thanks for introducing us to Okayama Kobo bakery in Hawaii! I noticed that they also have bakeries in Anaheim and downtown Los Angeles. I'll check them out on my next visit to California

Hey Shinichi & Satoshi, I’m happy to see that you guys got to stop by this place!👍🏽 I had last visited during Nov. 2023 and it was one of the highlights of my few days back in Honolulu!🌺
So glad you got to try this place. We are obsessed!
Bread feast!! You two always make such interesting choices. I think my favorites would be the oyaki takana and the kobokuma. 😋 Love to you both. 💜💜
We think you’d love the Takana
@@TabiEats I'm sure I would!
The salt bread (shio pan) is sooo incredible and hard to find outside Japan. I’m going to visit this place next time I’m in Hawaii.
I know right? Shiopan is one of my favs!
OMG I wanted to eat my computer! everything looked amazing, especially the croissant at the end
So good!
Yay! I can’t wait to go there when I move back home!
Enjoy!!!!!
Those look like very high-end Bakery Choices.
I like the sweet Custard ones with my coffee. and the mustard greens one with a cola.
Those breads looked so delicious 😋 Thank you for showing us❤
Looks so good.

Amazing baked goods. I'm so jealous. I wonder which ones I can make at home.

Bread is not my favorite, but I would eat some from this place. Looked great, and as usual you guys were very informative and fun to watch!
Lol I wish bread wasn't my favorite
Omg i finally found you again, you guys popped up on my feed years ago then dissapeared from it a few months later. Happy to be back
Hello from Chicago👋🏼. I always enjoy your vids! Everything looks so delicious!
Thanks so much
Now I have the perfect excuse to visit Hawaii!
Greetings from Vancouver! Thanks for sharing😊
I just love cute bread it is too cute to eat
LOL The young couple running up the stairs in the background made me feel very old!
This looks good! Been to oahu twice but it always seems like you show new things! Time to go back!!
I loooooove takana and it's nearly impossible to find anything with it here in the states! That looked SO good.
The Takana was one of Satoshi’s favorite.
i would love to try the strawberry one and the bear with custard cream
I love bread
We do too!
I’ve commented before…and still very true, I love and respect both of you. Thank you for what you both do. I’m doing some research, into travelling/staying in Japan as a double leg amputee. I’d love it supremely, if I happen upon the airfare for it
The curry bread is my fave 😋
It's so good!
Looks very yummy!!!😋
I love spaghetti bread that looks delicious.
I started getting into Matcha recently I really enjoy Matcha strawberry its my favorite thing to get at starbucks (since the last time) Matcha, strwaberry brown sugar its the best drink ever! One pump of brown sugar next time though
Mustard greens with mayo and cheese??? I never thought of that flavor combination but now want to try some!
Trust is, it’s so good!
Very nice👏
Yummy 😘😘❤️🤩😍🌈💯💯🌹🌹
💛...no such thing as too much bread (i'm a diabetic)... it's like a fisherman havin' too much tackle...
Bread bread 😋 I love the difference of it! Shinichi, you look thinner in this video. Random comment. Please take care, I love your video's!
First sandwich is not a Croque Monsieur. It's a grill ham and cheese sandwich. A CM has a thick cheese sauce inside along with ham and cheese, then the sauce on top and it's broiled/toasted in an oven. The filled sandwiches looked good!
when im in that area im going to try that bakery it must be so hard to decide what to get
Let us know which ones you liked best!
please do a review of yamazaki bakery in asakusa - absolutely the best bakery ive tried in all of tokyo
Ok will try that. We’ve actually never had bread from there
This might be an odd question, but I have wondered about it for years. Shinichi, your growing up years in Hawaii have led to your English having an American accent. I'm curious about your Japanese speaking. Do you have a "foreign" accent speaking Japanese or did growing up speaking Japanese in the home give you a "native-speaker" accent? I am very interested in people who have had the privilege of growing up multi-lingual and how the languages interact in their speaking.
I don’t have an accent when speaking Japanese, but I don’t understand really difficult words in Japanese so that’s a dead giveaway.
@@TabiEats Thanks!
If you're ever in Cleveland, Ohio for some reason try out Koko Bakery! It's amazing. I've not found better cream buns or barbecue pork buns anywhere in the continental U.S. at least. Haven't made it to Hawaii yet but I will someday.
Zamzam water
Two weeks passed?! Really?!🤯
Finish chewing before talking please.
The Japanese definition of 'Bread' is almost heretical.
