that "very creepy image" at 8:00 is a still of Arnold Schwarzenegger from Total Recall. lol
lmao whoops
Summs up the modern CZcams community lol "extremely cursed and disturbing image" lmao
@@nohandlefound. so true lmao.
I mean it still is a tiny bit unsettling if you didn't catch that or don't know the source.

Supposedly, Osama was quite into video games.
The last one, the one about the redditor looking for a song before she dies (1:27:08) the song was actually found. It's called: "Jordan, that was savage" by Whimper.
That song was played on the same radio station as described by the OP, in actuality listed as playing a week before the date she claimed to have heard it. It has nearly the exact same lyrics as she gave and the same style in the post.
Sadly, I think it was only found a month or two ago and it might be too late by this point.
no she said its not that song
@@northwanderer800have they found the actual song
The scripts for those two lost Pokemon episodes were actually very recently found! Now all we need to find are the episodes proper, but it's something.
Sauce?
@@jeremyjones7436 ketchup, mustard, Mayo? Which kind
38:29 It actually refers to a cancelled pilot/direct to video animated Spawn reboot around 2005. It's actually really interesting, they stated that they had all the voice acting done, all the backgrounds for the animation down, basically everything besides the animation and the music. Unfortunately it never got off the ground since they couldn't find a distributor (I researched this for a vid)
That creepy inage from Gowan torture massacre is clearly Arnold in Total Recall😂😂😂
That moment when iceberg charts have been around long enough to end up with lost media, and on a lost media iceberg itself.
It’s absolutely wild how lost media can go from missing Sesame Street episodes to osama bin ladins animal crossing data lmao this is why I can never get enough of it ❤ thank you so much sourcebrew

its always fascinated me how we can lose things so easily... people really don't care until its too late. its fun to hear about these things, and in some cases hear that they've been found. im hoping some of the games on here are found, i love playing the games of what could of been. always interesting to see what was planned.
What I find even more unfortunate is how much lost media is deliberately hidden from the public. (That is, the ones that don't have that good of a reason to be, as there are some things that are best left to be forgotten about.) Things like video game prototypes, cut content and ideas, behind the scenes details, etc are all so interesting, and yet companies keep so much of it to themselves. Because they think it makes them look more professional I guess? More transparency about these kinds of things would be very appreciated, and it would give a lot of insight about the processes of creating a piece of media.
Hearing that Schrei X entry actually really surprised me. For those who don't know, the album was made by Diamanda Galas, an incredibly prolific and influential experimental artist who is often overlooked due to her consistently inaccessible vocal performance style. She is an incredibly talented vocalist, classically trained in opera, but she uses her skills in a way that weaponizes her voice as a vessel for angels and demons alike. Where her first record, The Litanies of Satan, primarily features her babbling as if possessed and shrieking horrifically, her works became more sonically varied afterward, influenced by a wide range of genres like piano blues, vocal jazz, industrial, noise, darkwave, and punk. In addition, by the time Schrei X came out, she was a heavily seasoned professional as far as experimental artists go. Both in live performance and studio production, she was creating works that were poignant, influential, and unforgettable. Schrei X in particular stands out in her discography as a consistent least favorite among her fans, particularly due to its composition being made almost entirely of screams layered and manipulated with vocal effects. It makes perfect sense that such a project wasn't meant to be consumed merely by its audio element alone, and rather was meant to soundtrack a horrific visual. I truly hope that it gets found one day, as I feel that whatever disturbing contents lie in that footage could transform what seems to most to be a misstep in her discography into a powerful and unforgettable experience. Thank you for sharing all of this.
I'm now very intrigued by this person. Rabbit hole time.
I recently heard the album without knowing who this artist is and threw it away and now i get a lore dump, cool.
@@jackzapper7290 yeah!! If you're willing to give her another shot, I'd say to try to find her Masque of the Red Death series (The Divine Punishment, The Saint of the Pit, and You Must Be Certain of the Devil), as well as the live concert, Plague Mass. Those 4 albums contain some of the best work she's done easily, and Plague Mass in particular is unforgettable.
21:56 I learned from a video about the Oof sound effect that Guiness isn't really that reliable and people like Tommy Tallarico can just pay to have them invent new records for him to have.
“It was Joey, wasn’t it?”
34:25 actually that was not distrust monokuma! that was an early design for him, but in the later versions of distrust (including the leaked footage of the game) he is is bear self :))
Apparently Peru wasn’t the only place that showed South Park on a kids block people in Mexico, Ecuador and I believe Argentina have said it aired there as well. People who have seen it claimed that the dubs were censored. Considering most of the blocks ended in the early 2000s it would mean the blocks would show the first few seasons which were tamer then what the show would later become (specifically seasons 1-3) so I don’t think it would have been too hard censoring. Later on people said the show would air uncensored and on a normal block I’m assuming because after season 5 no amount of censorship would make it watchable and suitable for kids
7:50 Thats Straight up Arnold Schwarzenegger from Total Recall. Not as creepy as it is hilarious.
The king didn't stutter because he was nervous, he had a fluency disorder. He often would repeat his speeches until he became automatic with them.
Seeing Xuxa this low on the Iceberg is really surprising. Brazil gang rise up
SwordQuest AirWorld in its original form will never be released, but, it did come out recently. "Originally intended for release in 1984, Swordquest AirWorld was going to be the final of fourth connected action adventures. The game was recreated by Digital Eclipse for Atari 50, released on November 11th, 2022."
The Smiths Unreleased Demos entry may be referring to some demos that are actually lost. That discogs album release by The Smiths that you mentioned did get a distributed bootleg release on vinyl some years back which I used to own, and thus, recorded digital files of the rare tracks on it do exist and are not truly lost.
Thanks for a great, informative video!
Great
With the 6 guitar strings, I can imagine "Expert" Difficulty replacing the notes going faster and sometimes being placed differently with 6 notes being used
Right at that point get rock smith with an actual guitar or bass
The Disturbed "The Game" cover is actually Drowning Pool covering the Motorhead, not Disturbed. The confusion is understandable though since Disturbed has their own song called "The Game"
It was confirmed that there was an unreleased Disturbed cover of The Game by Motorhead. But it only survives as snippets.
This is one example:

Wait, I was literally at the Johnson Space Center Wiggles performance as a kid. Never thought I'd be a part of Lost Media
The tagalog dubs, I've watched back in 2009-2010's. Pretty sure the network that aired it likely had archives. Because I saw reruns of Handy Manny with the tagalog dub.
I think I may have said this on either one of your icebergs or someone else's but the idea of screamers being on these is always so interesting to me. Like I never thought of them as 'art' before but if art has the ability to stir emotions in us then I suppose it's only fair to call something that generally gives huge amounts of annoyance to people art. I can sort of understand the nostalgia for it to like "Oh man that super mario bros 3 download got me good, lol. Never falling for that again"
7:58 This "creepy" image appears to be a still of the film "Total Recall" featuring The Governator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Damn didn’t know Rammstein had lost media 🥺. This is why I love this lost media iceberg so much, it gets to the most obscure stuff. Awesome video can’t wait for more 🔥🔥
The unaired Pokemon episodes actually had their script leaked just 6 days ago!
(around 1 hour 2 minutes mark)
7:44 don't know if anyone else has pointed this out but that is not an image from the game, It's a promotional image of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie Total Recall (1990)
I did, with additional info about the game, but my comment was deleted. Goumon Master is not lost media 😅
@@hysterichoney why was it deleted?

Hey Sourcebrew
Started watching since the video game hoax iceberg and going from Vice City to Osama Bin Laden save files really got me rolling for a solid minute. You really have that commentary voice suited for icebergs unlike other CZcamsrs. Thank you for all the work you put into each video that makes them feel so unique.

The power rangers animated series one I think was about the initial pitch for the 18th season. Having the series become a cartoon instead of live action. Power Rangers was owned by Disney at the time. It was gonna have the characters from season 1 become the samurai rangers. There are prototype toys made for that version.
This is how I find out stickdeath is gone? I can’t believe it. I remember my time in my youth being spread between SD, NG, YTMND and video games.
Ayesha Erotica asked for not release any of her song online, and shes back now! Maybe she release everything.
To think the search for Interface would cause so many problems within the Vocaloid lost media community lol...
I’m surprised to see interface by masa here! unfortunately with the nature of vocaloid and how a lot of producers are, many things get deleted out of embarrassment and frustration, iirc interface was made when masa was 17-18 so it’s likely because of this. I’m really hoping it gets found- a lot of his early works were found from Chinese reuploads, and there are countless lost vocaloid songs.
If I remember correctly, the Angry Birds Flash was the Angry Birds game that was like a shoot 'em up game where you shoot a moving target with the Pigs on a cart. The characters change whenever you successfully eliminate a Pig. For example, you start initially as Red, then adds Blues, Chuck, Matilda, and eventually Terrence. Bomb was just a power-up for Terrence.
Huge props for pumping these videos out so fast you're the GOAT
I have noticed that at one point, Nightcore remixes of songs suddenly disappeared from YT and other sites. I had quite a few on Favorites here but then checked one day to see that 10-25 of them just up and got set to Private or even deleted by the User who posted them 🤔
And almost all of Bad Apple synesthesia from Sayonara Maxwell. I still recall myself scrolling through bunch of those as a child, those were my childhood :(
Nana's video Username 666 wasn't a recreation of the creepypasta, the creepypasta was based on Nana's video. Nana's video is from 2008 while the creepypasta was published in 2010.
I'd give almost anything for the original Alan Moore watchmen script before watchmen became what we know today
You can tell this iceberg was made by a Polish kid who liked screamers.

I think we need to update this iceberg to include the VIP Pets game
I played it ALL the time when I was 4, it was on Android and iOS but I remember playing it on Android. I tried downloading the game's APK but because i was a stupid 9 year old at the time: it didn't work. The game was based on a Spanish line of toys: These fashionable dogs, one of them even being based off of a real celebrity, and you got to style and comb their hair. I collected them for a period of time in 2020.
I remember spending ALL the time playing with Gwen and Juliet
The last entry on this layer is a real tear-jerker.. I hope the song gets found one day, and I really hope this video leads more people to the subreddit to help find the song.
1:06:02 I've never really though about stuff like this, think of how many inventors almost inventing something but dying before it got done, and then someone else inventing it later on.
What if someone almost invented the "smart phone" years prior for example but then dying before they could make it... Kind of makes me wonder where we would be now if it got invented a lot earlier...
and think of all the inventions that "could have been" but never saw the light of day for whatever reason
The lost footage is what I believe to have saw at the Houston space center. They have the full uncut thing on display there. Nothing changed
The Osama Bin Ladin one is creepy and interesting at the same time, Good Video Btw!
1:15:58 That looks like the Scary Maze screamer game.
About Kingdom of Heaven (Царствие небесное), not so long ago in Russian creepy community revealed what this found footages just a fake and now we not sure exist this show or not because it broadcasting on local TV channel
If you don't know who the Smiths are, they did the song "How Soon Is Now?" that goes "I am human and I need to be loved/Just like everybody else does."
People should know the Smiths…
The last one about the person dieing the radio station it was on is actually from my hometown the big issue is that my hometown is a really big music town with tons of bands and indie and local bands so random songs play all the time on that station from local talent that aren't heard from again
The Quartermass Experiment was remade twice by using the original script, first as a theatrical movie in 1955 by British movie studio Hammer Films, and again as a TV movie for BBC Four in 2005 (1:25:45)

On the topic of Kingdom of the Sun lost media, the documentary behind it mentioned how Sting made an entire soundtrack for that version of the movie, which was ultimately scrapped. Just sucks that there's a lost Sting soundtrack probably sitting in Disney's vault after all this time

The GMan Virus of 2009 was caused by a bunch of fake servers which downloaded a clientside executable that caused a the GMan Facemap to be locked on your screen while playing loud screaming noises[up pitched Fast Zombie]. IIRC, it also made players cough and spam, "OMG RPPPP?" or something along those lines. Its full origin was during a period in early 2009 where many popular GMod servers had their gamemodes and scripts leaked via an exploit in the Source engine. This lead to a period in either April or May of 2009 where several 3rd party servers were hosting PERP, RP08, TNB Script, Sassilization, and Clockwork. It eventually culminated with several communities going about extensive doxxing and DDoS'ing campaigns against each other. Several communities and even server hosters went offline during this period because of it. Scary GMan 09 was merely the first domino, and it spread a really nasty paranoia through out the community, despite being something which was fixed by deleting the autoexecution in your client folder.
