47:36 Actually, while the episode being interrupted is indeed an urban legend, that's incorrect. They were already in Dragon Ball Z in September 11, 2001, just not in the Super Saiyan 3 episode. The episode that was going to be played that day was the one where Majin Vegeta sacrifices himself trying to kill Buu, however, the episode didn't even begin playing, because of the coverage of the attacks. It did not get interrupted mid-episode, it just didn't play at all.
The time doesn't match, the planes hit two hours before the episode was scheduled. I'm actually surprised that this is this deep, because this is actually a popular Mandela Effect case here in Brazil, where there are many people who swear that they were watching Dragon Ball when it was interrupted, but this did not actually happen. If this iceberg was made in Brazil, this would probably be Level 1.

In regards to the Mandela effect, I think it's also important to note that our brains are good at recording narrative memories, not accurate ones. Memories aren't like computer files that your brain can pull up with a 1:1 copy. When remembering something, your brain has to go over and try to recreate/rewrite it, filling in the details as it goes, and it's incredibly easy for the details to changes every time you recall something. Especially when there's an outside claim that can influence it.

And our brain wants things to make sense for us, so the narrative memories get distorted because of our cultural baggage and life experiences, but we roll with them because they make sense. That's why many people misremember quotes. "Luke, I am Your Father", for example, makes more sense as a stand alone quote (and it keeps the original meaning) than the actual line: "No, I am your father". It only takes a push from mass media to make it a collective memory. That should be a lesson on how easily we can get manipulated.

Greetings, I was the person that streamed the Doraemon thingy. I was interviewing Kaiji Tang and sadly the video disappeared along with the rest of my old channel in 2020.
The reason why they didn't record anything is because Disney had to approve them before they recorded, which they didn't, so they didn't record it. And the reason why wasn't because of legal reasons, it was due to Disney being afraid the episode would make kids overindulge in sweets.
Also, most 30 minute episodes made it though unscathed in the dub, only 2 of them fell victim to being cut down to 15 minutes.

Brown note story: Early South Park has an episode where the biggest punchline comes from the boys finding the “brown note” and attempting to get some kids from New York to play it during a televised concert recital of a bunch of elementary schools from across the country. They sneak the brown note into a revision of the sheet music that they post on the New York kids door, but gets mistaken for an actual revision and mass distributed. The "medieval found footage" thing sounds like a really great idea for a film.
I have brainstormed an idea for it now:
The secrets of time travel have been revealed. Two scientists have volunteered to travel to the medieval times to see what the real medieval times have looked like, especially so that they can investigate and debunk a medieval found footage video that trended on social media and may or may not be real.
One of the scientists has a family heirloom from the 5th Century that perplexed generations (they were not sure if it was some sort of puzzle or a primitive weapon, among other things) until they find out that it had shared many traits with modern digital cameras once they opened the card slot and when they replaced the battery, the other is the descendant of a prophet named Merlin who made many predictions and prophecies that came true (and he is, in fact, named after Merlin), all collected in a book called "The Prophecies and Destinies of Merlin".
Once they arrive at their destination of the 5th Century, they take videos of their adventures in the past but they cannot return to the future and they are stranded in the past.
They have to survive in the medieval times and blend in with their society. They have to hide the fact that they are from the future while letting people know what will happen through vague means, one of which is writing down the history from their time period and framing it as their predictions.
They have to keep saving the camera's battery life so they could take as much of their journey as possible. They also vowed to each other to not reproduce in the medieval times.
During their adventures, the band of scientists adopt and raise an abandoned child. He was a strong and smart young child, raised by a couple who was seen as somewhat strange by the other peasants. This child was named Arthur, and he would grow up to be king.
After the scientists' camera's battery runs out, they decide to keep their camera a secret family heirloom that they entrusted to their adopted son: King Arthur. This is where the twist comes around.
After Arthur's legacy and descendants rose and fell, travelled around the world, the book and the camera were held tight with the family. Merlin's book would be one of the first books to be widely published alongside King Arthur's diaries, from where most of his legends came from, yet the camera remained a mystery for over a thousand years.

In the Indigo series especially, it's easy to identify an episode by the Pokemon featured most prominently in it. When you say "the Porygon episode", everyone knows which one you're talking about, same as if you said "the Kangaskhan episode" or "the Ditto episode" or "the Aerodactyl episode". The thing is that a bunch of people my age (25 to 30) misremembered what actually happened. People said that this TV show where interrupted to a news segment informing what happened in 9/11 in the middle of a dragon ball episode, but dragon ball aired around 11AM (local time) and the first plane crashed around 8AM (local time), so not even TV globinho was interrupted. In case y'all are wondering, yes, there were people crazy enough to actually try it out and it was more than a few, the video hit 3 million views. Needless to say, it went real bad and they all ended up in the hospital. PS: The damn thing was nothing special, all you had to do was throw a bunch of fruits and herbs you could easily find in a fruit stall around here.

Then there are earlier cartoons like Beetlejuice, anything with the Addams Family, and general horror cartoons like Courage and Scooby Doo. Let’s not forget all the goth side characters in non-goth/horror cartoons of which there are too many to count.

Fun little fact: Newfoundland (the province I’m from) has a sort of variation on Belshnickling that involves a similar concept, although it’s a bit more lighthearted. During the Christmas season we have this thing called Mummering, where people will dress up as Mummers, which often consist of goofy mismatched clothing and a sort of bedsheet mask over the face area, and go door to door asking “Any Mummers ‘lowed in?”. If allowed inside, they will gather and dance in the house and the homeowners will try to guess who is under the costume. This concept works much better in smaller, more tight-knit towns, of which Newfoundland has plenty. It’s a very interesting tradition and we even have songs written about it, although I cannot confirm if it relates directly to Belshnickling or if it was an offshoot of it.

Last year, a series of ads from a small local French restaurant called "Mali Food" made the rounds on the Internet, as they consisted of poorly re-dubbed scenes of the DBZ anime in which the characters discussed eating at said restaurant. Do feel free to check them out, they're certainly a curiosity to say the least.

The story starts of as a crappypasta parodying theorizers like Matpat, talking about how Mario is actually the real villain of the franchise, but then at the very end, the narrator mentions this obscure game called Mario Nights, talking about some of the disturbing things that happens in the game, still insisting that Mario is evil, and later leaves in an edit expressing confusion that no one else remembers Mario Nights and includes a picture of the box art. I'm Brazilian and i was 8 years old in 2001, if anyone cares here's what i have to share about DBZ being interrupted by 9/11 if anyone is interested: it may be obscure to you guys but it is a pretty heated discussion between millennials my age, this is not that much "lost media" , it's more of a Mandela effect imo.
First off: i really didn't like what you said about how it couldn't have happened because the buu saga didn't air in the US until 2002, that sounded very condescending. Guys, Brasil's version of the series is adapted from the original Toei version, not Funimation. Our version uses the original Kikuchi score, our version also uses an adapted portuguese version of "Cha-la Head Cha-la" as our opening (which imo is far superior to the funimation dub and Faulconer's score). Our version of the original DB didn't get just one dub, we got two versions of the original db dubbed by different studios. Globo wasn't the only channel that aired DBZ in our country. Furthermore, the buu saga aired on globo before the original dragon ball, we didn't get the show in chronological order. There's plenty of good evidence suggesting the ssj3 transformation wasn't interrupted by 9/11, however "the buu saga wasn't airing in the US" is not one of them and is absolutely possible we got the buu saga before you did.
With that out of the way, i have such a vivid memory of watching DBZ in the morning and having the ssj3 transformation being interrupted by the 9/11 plantão globo as it is called, it was showing actual live footage of the twin towers. That afternoon all the kids in school were mad that DBZ got cut off to some random news report. I'm sorry guys but we were young kids and we didn't understand the meaning of terrorism and war, the intricacies of what was happening in the middle east at the time flew right over our heads, let alone the tensions US and middle east already had during the previous decades, we were too young. I remember we were scolded by adults exactly because of our ignorance to the situation and i particularly remember being scolded by my 15 yr old sister at the time for only caring about Goku being ssj3, my friends also share the same exact memory of being mad at the cartoon getting interrupted and being scolded by adults.
Recently a lot of evidence came out that dbz wasn't interrupted by plantão globo at all, and i'm inclined to believe that it didn't happen. But it's so weird because i have this very precise memory in my brain, i remember so clearly having the show cut off to some news program i didn't understand, being mad at the tv and having my older sister scold me for being a little brat. And all people my age i talked to also have a similar memory of being mad then getting scolded by a parent or an adult, it's bizarre

To go a bit more into Mathrus, MUGEN communities have what is called a 'dragon-tier' cheapie. This is essentially the most powerful form of cheapie as it's not meant to be a character at all and meant to attack your PC instead. As a comparison, lower tier cheapies such as nulls have been shown to use exports to immediately win such as messing with KOs via bugs. However, as stated here, there is no solid proof of the character itself and is moreso a creepypasta legend. Even if it does exist, cheapies are usually banned from multiple MUGEN character sharing sites. Something like a dragon-tier would never be found online. If any other MUGEN fans would like to correct me or add onto anything, feel free to respond.

When DBZ finally aired in Brazil many years later, it became a huge hit, so to capitalize on that popularity, the licensed the original Dragon Ball TV series again and made a new dub for it, that's the version you were talking about in this video. In Short: In Brazil, first came Dragon Ball, then DBZ, DBGT, and then Dragon Ball with a new dub again.
