This is very informative. I came into America 3days ago through a Connecting flight from lagos to Atlanta, Atlanta to BWI. When I got to Atlanta that was where my Visa was stamped at the immigration and customs office. I didn't have to go through the customs in BWI again. Saying this cos you said we shouldn't go through customs and immigration where we are connecting.

Yes you can bring spices so long they are grounded. Most of the things they don’t take are seeds

What did you have to take to the social security office
You don’t need a lot to get your social security number. You need your green card and international passport. If you have more documents with you, you can take them. But that was what I was asked.
And yeah finding a job was not bad all I had to do was work on my resume and apply for jobs online. Some months later I got a job. But you need a social security number after you get the job because you will need it.

Honestly I don’t have the answer for that. But I don’t think you will be deported for that.

Thank you so much. So yes you can fill your I-130a with ink and scan to your husband to use that as reference to fill online. It’s better filling online so there is no case of misinformation. I hope you understand. So fill with ink and send to your husband to fill for you. When he’s done he can send Back to you to sign it. Or he can use your initials as your signature. Whichever works for both of you.

Hello Lami ,Am your new subscriber,and I like your video, please is it possible to get an immigrant visa to go be with your fiancee and get married even though your fiancee has never been to Nigeria before?
He can file for a fiancé visa (K1) but he needs to propose to you and you need evidence of that. So your fiancé needs to come see you. It doesn’t have to be in Nigeria though. If you guys have traveled somewhere together before you need pictures of that. And also pictures from the proposal.
There is actually a questionare on usci application that ask if u would like to register for your green card now or later.

No you don’t. Once you have an IR1 visa you can travel to America
Assuming your final destination is Newark, and you first disembarked in NY, could you see immigration in NY?
No you don’t need to. Once you out of the plane, go find the flight going to Newark. Once you get there then you will see immigration
@@lamischannel Oh. Flight will not be required to get to Newark, from NY. Both states share boundaries. They usually commute between the two states via link roads. Some of the link roads are even less than 30minutes drive. Would appreciate you explaining more why one needs to report to immigration at final destination.

Yes you can connect to the airport wifi. So you guys can talk on Whatsapp when you land. He told me the where he would wait for me at the arrival area, so it was easy to locate him.

Yes he can travel with you once he gets his passport back with the visa in it. The first thing is for him to get that passport back. I think it’s faster to pick up than have it delivered to you.

He can go the the travel.state.gov click on US visas, immigrate, the immigrant visa process in step 10 number 2 he can click on it. He can search of the embassy either Lagos or Abuja, and follow the instructions

Now you know the reason why its coz you eclipsed 2 years of your marriage by the time you arrived at the airport so they gave you a 10 yesr greencard which is great 😅 ..great info by the way..and even the interviewer at the embassy will tell people DO NOT PUT YOUR DOCUMENTS IN CHECKED LUGGAGE

Hello. I don’t have much details about F1 visas or Fiance visa ( k1). I only share my experience on CR1|IR1 visa (Spousal visa) on this Channel. But from what you said if I understand correctly. You are coming to America on a student visa but your Fiancé is sponsoring your education. You shouldn’t pay for a green card in my opinion. An F1 visa is not a CR1 / IR 1 visa those are the only visas that can get you a green card. A K1 visa also gives a green card but that is after you enter into the United States get married to your fiancé and he files an adjustment of status for you. Moreover the US sends a link for payment. You can’t just pay online on your own if you understand what I mean.

Congratulations 🎉 . I will suggest you call the pick up center in Victoria island and change your pick up to delivery. If you choose delivery, it will be delivered to you in Abia state. Better still if it’s possible come back to pick it up in lagos.
