I'm impressed she's so good. A good teacher. I wanted to do this and I have watched many videos that didn't help. Lots of people don't know that Farming should be taught in practice. Thanks, beautiful lady.
Glad it was helpful!
New to the channel. Very impressed with the simple and clear instructions. I have downloaded the PDF file and have been preparing my greenhouse for next year (2025). I started growing my plants in my garage and now I feel like having a unique spot for just growing my tomatoes and peppers. I will follow along! Thank you!
I’m so excited for this premiere!! 🍅🤩
We are, too!
Sitting here with a Word doc open and taking notes as I was having tomato troubles. This is incredible. Thank you!
We're happy to help! Feel free to rewatch the video any time you need advice! 🍅
SO much helpful information!! Thank you, given me a lot of inspiration for my garden :)
You are so welcome!
Very professional. Well produced and presented. Excellent organization, and very didactic class. Everything a viewer would need, listed below. WOW. Can't remember watching a more professional video on agriculture
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for all of the great information on seed starting, planting, trellising, pruning, and harvesting tomatoes. Even though I have had gardens for many years, I really struggle here in the deep South in Georgia, where even in Spring the temperatures can soar over 90 degrees and we have extremely high humidity which means we are always dealing with fungus, pests, and disease issues when it comes to growing tomatoes. I think a few of your tips will really help me be more successful in avoiding some of the pest and disease issues I have had with tomatoes. I really appreciate the free guide also, thank you.
I love this video and how it was done . Very informative! Hopefully you guys will be doing more like this in the future with other plants and livestock. 🙏
Awesome!!! thanks for sharing, Starl!
Now you know how awful tasting hot house tomatoes are grown
Thanks for your good works, advice and enlightment. Blessings
Thanks for watching! Cheers!
Wow, amazing information, I really appreciate all your hard work....Please keep producing more videos.
Thank you
More to come!
This is quite educational. Thank you so much for sharing valuable info on tomarmto planting. I am so happy that i found your channel :)
For sure I got value and a lot of information in this video, full explanation from the host. Thank you a lot, chears from México.
Glad it was helpful!
You have a very organized, professional operation. Congratulations
I can already tell this is EXACTLY what I'm going to need going into this year of gardening!
Just wait until the video premieres, then you'll be even more prepared for an amazing growing season! 👏
Never seen a better video than this one. Awesome job
Wow, thank you for the compliment! We're glad you enjoyed the video.
Thanks for some much needed tips. I just bought some clips. I use nylon net trellis and was tying the plants up. Clips are so much easier!
Work smarter, not harder! 😉 Best of luck on your growing season!
I’m from KC so I love the shout out to Broadway Roasting Company! I love their coffee!
Thank you guys so much for this step by step video. I'm off to start my Tomato farm.
Your video is so comprehensive and informative, thank you. I made a lot of mistakes this year and wish I saw this video at the beginning of my season. I am from South Africa and our season will start in August so I will be following your advice and can't wait to see the results. Thank You.
What ever they are paying you is not enough! You did a marvelous job on explaining everything so well. Thank You so much for this. The only thing you didn't cover was doing a soil test and talking abouth the correct Ph for growing tomatoes in. I'm a beginner to gardening and this was something I had hoped to learn. Perhaps you did mention it and I missed it. I will still give you 5 stars for this presentation!
Excellent video. Exceptionally presented and so pleasant to listen to. Thank you.
I've been Watching this video over and over.. it inspires me. Thank you

Great video, very informative, watching from UK. On your math, 260 plants/10k pounds crop, that's a lot of crop (40lbs) per plant
It is A LOT of tomatoes for sure! Thanks for watching and hope you found the video helpful.
Congrats Heifer USA for this initiative
Thank you, Edwin!
This is really educative even for us starting to learn to grow tomatoes
So impressed. by the work that goes into this. 10k lbs sounds like a huge number when you read the video titla but when you consider that they are attempting to market there production it amazes me how tight their margins would be. Farming as a business has to be a strong passion to get through all the peaks and valleys of just one season. We should remind ourselves of all this when we go to the farm market and look at the price of organic heirloom tomatoes. Hearing people complain about $3.99 lb prices at the stand makes me wonder if people understand what goes into making those fresh organic vegetables available.
Thanks, T!
Well said
As a farmer you are absolutely correct. 🙏
With as much work as I put into my garden, and the amount of food that comes out of it all things considered, food should be WAY more expensive! OMG the hours it takes!. TY for the thorough video. Saving to re watch next spring before another go at tomatoes!
Yep, we used to think that way when we were living in the city but now that we moved out to the farm growing our own food open our eyes and understand the price of the "real" organic food. Thank you.
Wow superb presentation 😊
What an excellent video, just subscribed, thank you so much for this video!
Welcome to our channel! We're glad you're here. 🍅🥰
This video was amazing! so well made and so informative!! learned a lot. I hope you guys can do a hydroponic one!
No one is interested in hydroponics! Except for people that don’t understand what goes into real healthy organic food hydroponics has no flavor and is lacking all the biodiversity in microbe activity that organic soil does 😅
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should 🤢
@@jeffreythiel5315 not everyone has access to organic soil you know that right? Especially people living in small islands where arable land is few. Some of us actually have to grow crops in alternative ways such as hydroponics. So weird never thought i’d come across a organic food loyalist. I hope you don’t get nightmares about hydroponics 😂
Excellent content. Thank you.
This is my first year growing for market. Tomatoes are one of my crops. Learned a few more tricks
Awesome! That's the whole point for us. glad you found it helpful!

I loved this video . Thank you
So beautiful farm❤😊
Great job!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you for the great video & looking forward to printing off the guide. Question: I have read that grafting tomatoes, makes them stronger & produce more. Is there a reason Heifer farm did not choose to do this or is it not as beneficial if in a greenhouse?
wow.. agriculture is advanced, modern and independent, I like this, it can be replicated in other countries that have special potential in agriculture. success always for Heifer USA. Thank you for the content, I hope it will be useful for the general public.
Hello, Sir.

Thank you so much
We're so glad you enjoyed the video!
I am very impressed, how often did you apply your organic nutrients or manures.?
I've learn a lot, thank u for sharing.
Question! What kind of fertilizer u used on tomato, the drip irrigation?
Hi Lulu! glad you liked the video. Sometimes we use a liquid fertilizer (though not always) that is sourced from Nitron Industries in fayetteville, arkansas called tomato booster.
I'm going to try 20❤ I've successfully done 4 so decided to try starts to they've done beautifully . I'm doing beef boy, red cherry, Roma and several new ones all heirlooms n then I'll save seeds for next year. ❤🎉
Thanks!
You are welcome, Jay!! Thank you 😊
Amazing 👏🏾 love this video, would like to see a video like this with Cucumbers 😁
great idea! We will consider it. glad you enjoyed it.
I love it and I like to grow tomatoes, am in Uganda. Thanks
I am about to plant a big tunnel like yours. You are the only grower in You Tube that’s lays the drip tape on top of the landscape fabric vs under it. Why on top? Very informative video
Thanks for watching. We did it on top that year mostly to be able to quickly identify and repair any leaks in the drip tape.
Hello, thank you for taking tour time to educate and share information. I just want to know how big is the greenhouse and how many plants tomatoe plants did you plant in total. Thank you.
ooh using the torch to make the holes every 18 inches is such a neat idea.
it works so well!
Nice job
Thanks!
Nicely done in-depth video, I have been gardening for almost 40 years (practical, feed the family type) and have pruned and trellised my closely spaced, indeterminate tomatoes for many years. The seedling pruning is something I had not known or done, will be on my to do list next year. Thanks!
That's awesome! Glad you learned something new after so much experience. Thanks for watching and you are welcome here anytime.
Last year, I did a side by side test with 4 Early Girl plants grown with double stems and 4 with single stems. My results were non-conclusive. Slightly more weight on the doubles maybe, but more small tomatoes at the two tops. I'm going to try another trial next year, doing the same thing with some MoneyMaker plants which are doing super well so far this year.
Thanks
hello. Very useful information.I want to ask you a few questions. 1) When growing tomatoes in a greenhouse, what is the temperature and humidity? 2) when growing tomatoes in coconut briquettes, the frequency and rate of watering with water.3) the norm of illumination for tomatoes) . I'll give you a blog in advance. Thanks
The temperature fluctuates. We cover this in the video. We have not used coconut brick before
Just single video for life of tomoto
