A generative sequence, created with the Pamela's New Workout, is playing the ARP 2600M. This module is super fun, really inspiring and can do a lot more than only clocking.
Do this again but through a flanger and then through a phaser. That would be even More kick ass!! SO much you can do with the 2600. I been having fun with mine and I'm going to have to post some videos like this!
Hey, thanks for the comment. Yes, it would be cool to share some more ideas. Let me know when you have some videos around the 2600, i am always interested in those.
@@neuzethmusic131 It depends on your personal needs and the role in the setup so i am always careful with recommendations. But for the added LFO/Env/Euclidean functions i would absolutely buy it again. If it's just for clocking purposes, i also love the MN Tempi.
@@tomnoise23 Would you be willing to share the midi file? I managed to run a Moog Werkstatt-01 into a Minitaur, use the Minitaur's VCF , and I get a similar tone. I'd like to try this but picking to the exact pattern is tricky.
Yeah, the Behringer has a more precise sound, almost more like a DCO. Still sounds great, i love my blue 2600. But it doesn’t have the same kind of ‘gooey’ heavy quality as the original 2600 imo. They may start sounding more like an original 2600 in a few years when their components have started to get some wear on them..?
They are very close in general but the Korg is a bit brighter, a slightly more raw tone and has a different envelope behaviour. Also the spring reverb is much different.
Lovely!!! Is the Korg "better" in any way than the Behringer...refering to sound here first and foremost...(not counting the speakers). Does it sound more like the original? Btw, your old JP-8 track is still something of the best I've ever heard :)
@@tomnoise23 You're welcome :) Do you mean the Korg sounds closer to the ARP original? Was contemplating over what would I get for 3 times the price? Btw, do you still have your OG 2600? Loved those demos as well
@@analogholic3651 Yes, the Korg is soundwise indeed very close. The Behringer can do all the same type of sounds too, but sounds cleaner overall and the spring reverb is just not comparable. I have sold my last original 2600 around 2010. Happy to see them back on the market though.
This is awesome. Lovely mysterious vibe. Well done.
This is amazing. Great job. It's got a nice Jon Hopkins Open Eye Signal vibe when the filter breaks through
Super combination, and skill. Thanks for sharing
Very impressive! This has convinced me that I must have some fun with Pamela soon!
Cheers! Yes it’s fun indeed
Pamela is a fun lady

Nice. I've been looking to get Pamela's for a while.
cheers! I only have it since a few days and i am still exploring what it can do. It has a really impressive feature list for such a small module.
@@tomnoise23 So you can highly recommend it? Looking for a clock/trigger module for my rack...

Do you prefer the Korg to the Behringer? Is the sound that much better?
No, I don’t. Both are great 👍

@@thisfoodiereviews sorry-there is no midi involved. All voltages are generated, some are random, by the PNW module.

how close the 2600m is to the behringer's 2600 ?

In my opinion it’s close to the original ARP, but maybe a little brighter with more edge. And thanks a lot for the nice comment 👍
