    I believe it may be OK with up to "2TB" drives as the limit of the MBR partition table format is basically 1 sector short of 2TB (2 real TB, not "HDD manufacturer's TB"). Anything bigger needs GPT and support for that is rare in anything but new actual PCs.

      The customer wants a 1TB drive installed. It is on order and there will be a part 4!

      They either couldn't be bothered to put the instructions in the manual, or given how they hid it behind a secret menu, probably wanted to profit off overpriced HDD upgrades.
