- Start your day in a calm state. Take a break from a difficult situation. Or take time for yourself to settle from your day before you go to sleep. You can use this 25-minute grounding guided meditation any time you need to relieve stress and anxiety.
In challenging or stressful times, it is important to connect with your physical sensations, to ground your energy, to recognize your emotions as they are and to remember that you are not your thoughts. You are not your feelings or your emotions. At times, you may feel controlled by your thoughts and your emotions as if they become you. Just as when you walk out in the rain you are not the rain, when you experience anxiety you are not the anxiety. Anxiety is only an experience that you are having.
There is a big difference in saying to yourself, “I have anxiety, or I am anxious,” versus saying “I am experiencing anxiety at this moment.” The first statement is claiming that sensation as yours which your mind recognizes as something it wants to hold on to because you are the owner of it.
Today is time to release stress and anxiety. Take comfort in the fact that, like all moments, this moment too shall pass. The more you can tenderly offer yourself love and kindness for your experience, the less suffering you will experience.

I've developed anxiety during quarantine and this is very new to me, I've always been so extroverted and lively before so I have no idea what to do. My family and friends are very supportive and I've started going to the gym in hopes of reducing my anxiety. Any tips would be of great help! Sorry for my bad english

The minute I made a conscious effort to not allowed anxiety to define me I’ve been feeling better. I will deal with it if it shows up and I will be kind to myself during those moments but I will not give it energy. Meditation and deep breathing have been essential.
Dear Sara, please could you possibly do a panic attack meditation ? I've had a moderate panic attack tonight just before bed, realised I've not got anything for that, did a quick search on the tube to no avail due to voice mismatch (it HAS to be a certain voice for me) and ended up here but this is more anxiety where I'm trying to avert a full blown panic attack, hyperventilating, rapid pulse, racing thoughts ... All gradually building up days to weeks due to the massive lifestyle changes I've got coming up in weeks. Diazepam coming right up with one of your sleep videos. Blessed Be to you both 🙏💞
Simply perfect humming and tapping
Since being diagnosed with depression, anxiety and, PTSD after losing my little brother who, was also my best friend. I have now held myself accountable to stick to my routine of your ‘Deep Sleep’ meditations at night and one prior to getting out of bed in the morning. I was feeling very anxious today, and experienced an ocular migraine. I came upon this guided meditation and am so thankful. I was feeling out of my body, stressed, overly worried, the way anxiety can overtake a mind. But I have to tell you, the mindful deep breathing helped quickly. A funny thing too, I was doing this on my bed with my sweet cat next to me and when I got to the part where we were instructed to hum my cat started meowing and chattering at me. It made me laugh, I instantly felt a new joy, and I've felt better since. Thank you. This was a gift ❤️🙏✨💫

Thank you I am so very grateful to you both for providing such a wonderful experience of relaxation and ti remain calm.
I lost two brothers within two weeks, also I realised I my husband and children have gone past me and I dont play a role in their lives anymore and I realised that he is not my best friend anymore. With this realisation it was easy to understand certain things that I couldn't understand before . But now I am facing the future calmly and knowing that there will be life that will bring joy and happiness to me without depending on anyone.
And my diabetic sugar levels came down from 303 to 230 inpite of such difficult times .
I am following yoga exercises for diabetes as well.
I thank the lord for the service you are providing and may you both be blessed in all that you do.

I’m an Enneagram type 7 whose always flittering about in my head, furthermore, I had been getting a migraine before doing this meditation this am. Although I’d taken 3 excedrin migraine tablets, this meditation totally took away my pain. I noticed it was gone right after the humming portion. Relaxing my jaw and face helps too.
