    It was not in my toolbar. I had to go to tools>transform tools>Scale and then it replaces whatever tool you have currently selected.

      ... there were a lot of steps left out from the start. "First, choose this icon."
      I don't have that icon in my tool tray--so, that's not gonna work.

      That's the only thing I don't like about GIMP, it's such a feature rich product that I'm immediately lost most of the time!

    Doesn't work at all. Clicking on the Scale Tool button and then clicking on the image layer, and nothing happened. No matter how I click or move my mouse, that layer of image is completely static and no change happens at all.

    There shouldn't be a tutorial for this. You Can thank GIMPs bad UI, people said it wasn't intuitive but I didn't think It would be THIS unintuitive

    • @DB-ek5kd
      @DB-ek5kd Před 3 měsíci +3

      Definitely unintuitive. On the other hand, it's free.

      @@DB-ek5kd yeah I get that but so is Shotcut, or modern day audacity. Both are WAYYYY more intuitive then GIMP

      @@midnight-show Audacity has fallen a bit since dumbing things down, it used to be even better. Gimp is however inexcusably bad...
