Im still a total beginner but ive been trying to understand how to use this program for photo manipulation and a specific type of thing i see people doing but honestly can figure out how to do unless its on photoshop that is the pencil brush effect where you use a brush and bam picture underneath it looks nice im guessing its with layers so maybe do a video on that topic? 😁

Hi I just finish watching video making the brushes float on it's own and I tried doing the same with all the other tabs, 'cause I wanted to reorganize them. Big mistake Now I can't put them back on the right side, because I can't see a blue line to lock them back in. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling the program to see if everything would come back to default, that didn't work can you tell me how to reattach them? I also find that your video are easy and of great help to a 75 year old still learning. would appreciate a comeback thank you.
is this an old verison of gimp? my gimp doesn't show that layer window at all. how do i fix this?
I enjoyed and appreciated your video. I'd like to say that while I understand that your "target" audience is beginners, it seemed that you spent an unnecessarily extended amount of time explaining the general concept of layers. And of course viewers can always speed up the video as needed, but I'd still suggest that you not dwell so much on the easy concepts.
