You forgot to mention "pure rage" as one of the side effects to expect in the first 72 hours of quitting nicotine.
😂
Facts bro
Bro i stopped vaping 10 days ago and on day 2 i literally lost my shit over the smallest thing😂
Let me tell you, if you're on the ASD spectrum it's sbsolutrly going to induce several meltdowns, which you're unlikely to get much support around. Lol
I was literally about to say the same thing, you're not alone brother.
“It fixes the anxiety that it causes” damn
Day 12 and I feel like I'm over it, easy as that, it's so weird I thought I'd be dying, struggling, still grumpy and just in that "fear" and I feel damn amazing!! Energy levels are through the roof too. Yes I feel like I want to smoke still but it's so easy to over come now it doesn't phase me
Just quit peeps. No more 1 last puff. Last coil, last bottle of e juice or when my battery dies I won't recharge it. Just stop right now, this second, STOP MAKING EXCUSES.
Wish I had taken my own advise years ago. Stop making excuses and just quit
Yup, same here at a week with no vape/nicotine. First 8 hours were really hard, after that it was W/E. Ate a lot of sugar and Candy during the first few days when I would get a craving, seemed to work pretty well.
After 3 months are u still clean? I quit cold turkey but keep relapsing. I made it 4 months before getting drunk and buying cigarettes. I didn't want to buy a vape becuase i find it more addicting than cigarettes. I will smoke a pack and quit for a month but i keep relapsing. The cravings still hit hard even after months of not using.
I was in the exact same boat as you. I've been telling myself I'd quit for at least 2 years now, off and on. I finally made a concerted effort 2 weeks ago and it was surprisingly easy. I figured I would have bad withdrawals considering the amount of nicotine I was taking in, but I only suffered from cravings. After about 3 days, it's been a breeze. Overjoyed that I've finally managed to kick the dependence.
thats crazy I always use to say " last coil and one more puff "
@@stupidmonkey151 are u still going strong?
15 days in. Feeling very proud but still a little annoyed haha.
The biggest thing that has helped me has been working out first thing in the morning.
This gives me some natural dopamine right when I wake up and sets the tone for my day.
Good luck everyone!
Good for you, man. I was thinking about beginning to work out myself seeing as I have A LOT more time now to try and be productive. Slowly, but surely.

I’ve been vaping for 10 years, this is the 3rd time I’ve quit. It’s day 2. Praying to the Lord gives you all the strength you need to get through the withdrawals, they weren’t even as bad this time and I’m only on day 2. My friend said that she prayed to the lord and he took away her desire completely, no withdrawals whatsoever. With God all things are possible, just ask him and he will give you strength.
Side note, my husband is still vaping and I’m around it 24/7. 95 percent of quitting is mindset and prayer, you can do all things through Christ even when it feels impossible

35 day’s nicotine free! Started smoking cigs in 2015, and began vaping in 2021. I would vape pretty heavily. I quit cold turkey 35 days ago. I was getting shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and wheezing when laying down. Gave my vape to my wife to throw away and told her I’m done with these damn things. My wheezing has gotten 10x better, and I feel great. First few days was rough, I kept reaching for a vape in my car. Almost like it was muscle memory. After about 2 weeks, it was cake. My brother and friends can vape around me all day and I don’t care to smoke or anything. Every now and then I’ll get a little bit of chest discomfort, I think it’s my lungs still healing from all the chemicals and crap. Keep going guys, you got this!
I’m choosing to quit today. Man, I need the strength.

@Mino amazing brother! Proud of you! How did you find the first couple days?
THC is worse than nicotine.
I'm in the process of quitting vaping the 5% stuff about every 15 minutes. I had it BAD. I tried cold turkey but I honestly got physically ill and experienced some of the most soul crushing depression I've ever known. I opted for the tapering off approach instead and in the space of one week, I have cut my nicotine usage by about 95%. It has NOT been easy, like a gnawing hunger that comes over me at random times. I anticipate being nic free by next week. Go me! I've never been prouder of anything in my entire life.
How’d it go bud?
ive seen this same paragraph before…
@@lucassredzinski8671 I beat it for 2 weeks but compromised with chewing tobacco. I almost immediately went back to salt nic just as bad as it was before. I just quit for the second time this week and am determined to not compromise in any way. I guess we'll see after another 5 months but I tapered down and got through the 3 day withdrawal period. I can now go all day with none. Still get a mild craving now and then but I'm so damned sick of having the monkey on my back. I'm done. I'm enjoying being able to go places without sneaking around like a crackhead to hit the vape pen. You can do it but you have to realize what a trashy, ridiculous habit it is, first.
@@jasonfoster9118 hows it going
Cold turkey is the only way. Stop feeling bad for yourself and push through it. Fuck nicotine, fuck depression, BEAST NO BITCH!!!!!
I met someone 2 1/2 years ago at 26 and started vaping with them for first time. Today they are not in my life anymore but I never thought I’d be addicted and vaping chronically throughout the day, every day. Its been almost a year and It’s hard to let go of that relationship until I let go of this. But today i feel ready. Here’s to day 1
Day 3 after 15 years of smoking......I hate everything 😡
I’m almost 2 weeks nicotine free. I smoked cigarettes for years, then started the juul. It was so hard to quit and I was not sure if I could do it. I am not going back now. Thank you for these videos! ❤
Former vaper for 2 years. Quit vaping around 2 months ago after watching this channel and I honestly lost track of exactly how many days its been! I can't be more happy, to remove those chains, break free from that habit. I feel so much positive change in myself in all aspects of my life. I can't thank this channel enough for giving me that push and right mindset to conquer this obstacle. Sure I get a craving here and there, but each day that passes, the cravings go away quicker and come less often.
When the going gets tough, our mindset is truly is what is gonna allow us to conquer any obstacle in our path. This goes with nicotine addiction and all challenges of life we go through. All our journeys will be tough, but I assure you all, it will all be worth it for the longevity of our lives! I believe in you all! “One moment of pain is worth a lifetime of glory.” -Louis Zamperini

I’m 2.5 weeks in quitting vaping. I feel so much better already. Yours video’s helped a lot to motivate me to quit. I was with a friend who vapes and I managed to control myself and not give in to the temptation. Thank you so much
I'm on day 8 after picking up a vaping habit 4 years ago. I chose to vape to help me quit dip after a stressful deployment. I've been using nicotine off and on for 18 years. I realized that there is no end game for nicotine, it doesn't work towards anything long-term. I've been mentally cataloging the withdrawal day to day. Day 1-3 was surprisingly simple, I think day 4-7 was the hardest. I even partied pretty hard with friends and was able to not relapse after a complete night of drinking. I'm excited for the 3 month mark.
Update. Going on 8 weeks no nicotine. Still get random cravings, usually after breakfast. No real side effects or withdrawal symptoms. I feel like it will take about 4 months for the nicotine receptors to die off.

@jacksonp7877 I quit all nicotine January of 2023. I did take a couple pulls off a friends vape in March of 2023. I wanted to test to see if I could pick and choose when to do it and not be addicted. Most of the cravings go away after a couple months. I wish I could tell you they completely go away but even right now thinking about it I would like to vape.
I just threw my Elf Bar from the balcony!!! 😂 I just quit! I smoked cigarettes for 15 years and quit and then vaped for 7 years as a substitute, I’m over it!! I can’t let it take control of me anymore I hate the anxiety and depression it’s giving me I’m over being addicted to something that’s hurting me more than helping.

Thank you so much for your kind words and being part of this community!
If you’re trying to quit and experiencing a strong craving thinking to yourself, “What’s one more puff gonna hurt.” WAIT 5 minutes! Cravings typically last 5 minutes, or less. So before you take that drag challenge yourself to simply wait 5 minutes. More often than not, you will become distracted with something else and forget about the craving all together. It’s no longer all-encompassing and becomes more manageable. Don’t believe me? Try it. It surprised me on how quickly you can overcome something that, in the moment, felt so overwhelming.
Day one : hell

The way I did it was, kept lowering my nic slowly until I was vaping zero nic liquid, vaped zero nic for a month, threw my vape mod in the trash....Zero withdrawals....
I did something similar, I reduced my nic intake to 3mg for like 2 weeks and then just threw all my shit away. I havent vaped nicotine in 5 days and I have notice that I have more ENGERY im less tired. Cravings are there for me especially around the time I usually vaped (after eating, driving to work, etc.) but manageable. Flavored carbonated water also helps me a little bit.

I've been on patches for the past 3 weeks, currently on step 2 to quit vaping.
When I woke up this morning I forgot to put my patch on and noticed hours later that I didn't have one. I decided not to put one on and surprisingly I didn't feel the urge to for the whole day.
Unfortunately, I had plans to go out with friends and I got extremely anxious so I brought a patch with me just in case and I ended up putting it on.
After watching this video, I just took it off and will be setting the next 3 to 4 days aside for personal time to deal with withdrawals. In the first few days of quitting it was easier than I thought so I also tried not putting a patch on one day but I ended up in bed shaking with cold sweats and nausea, so I put one on.
I never knew nicotine patches were a bad thing, but at least I'm a step down from 21mg to 14mg, which should help with the physical withdrawals.
Thank you for this video, I can't wait to throw away these patches, detox and start to recover

You just made me realize this about dopamine:
If I have anxiety about an exam, my mind doesn't just crave dopamine, it craves dopamine from me studying and feeling good about the test. But instead, if I feed it nicotine, my mind receives the dopamine it's looking for but the problem is still there, I just think it's ok now. Until I realize I'm not at all ready for that test. Day 75 for me. Highly reccomend it. I still deal with hacking up phlegm for time to time but my overall breathing/lungs has gotten a lot better
Quitting today putting my trust in God to get me through
You’ve got this!!
I’ve smoked on and off and got hooked on vaping now for 8 months it’s harder to quit than cigarettes. I’m using Nicolette gum just to ease me into it as going cold turky just didn’t work this time round 😓
The benefit in using patches is that it addresses the second obstacle in quiting: the habitual, physical motions of smoking (i.e., the reaching for, the sucking of...) BEFORE you quit. BOTH aspects of quiting must be overcome. It doesn't really matter which aspect you address first, unless, of course, you know which aspect is the most difficult for you.
Quitting cigarettes was hell, mainly because there were certain cues throughout the day when I would go for a smoko.
Then I got addicted to vapes...the problem was that everything was a cue.
I would vape anytime anywhere.
So simply just sitting at my office desk, Im fienning for a vape.
It's been like 5 days.
I've been coughing so much phlegm.
Vaping was my go to inorder to quit smoking. Now I have periodontontal diease from dry mouth, nicotine caused my gums to recede, the extreme heat from the vape. 3 years of vaping caused just as much damage as smoking.
Thanks
