I could be wrong but I don’t see him as a big bad, he looks frail and he’s crying. Him being another main villain would be a complete 180 from what we are seeing.

They aren't necessarily a villain even if they are from the orphanage cause as far as we know they were just innocent kids given a home. Shigaraki was a villain because he killed several people and tried to cause mass genocide.
i think it is dekus dad because the “being gone on seas” could be a coverup for him to be kidnapped for all those years and his mouth is covered and dekus dad has the quirk to breath fire

you know what I think for what we get of the mysterious villain is that what if this could be not just class 2A but midoriya last moment of how he could be a hero without fighting but trying to reason with the villain that looks hurt and loss because to me, I feel like I might understand what horokoshi is doing there probably giving something to show that as heroes it won’t be just fighting the villains It will also be by helping them
That could be awesome like Deku is trying to reason this mysterious person without a quirk and what if he gets hurt and Class 2A will all arrived to check on Deku especially Uraraka who will definitely be worried about Deku and will apologize about his hair

I like this theory and it also fits and ties up the plot line of AFO’s back up vessels. However I do have a theory on how we could see Deku’s father by the end of this story. So you know how future Deku is the one narrating this story of how he became the greatest hero right? Well, what if he’s telling this story to Hisashi Midoryia, his father to give him the run down of what has happened in the past year. Especially since his father would clearly want some answers like how did my son get connected to All Might, how did he maifest such a powerful quirk unrelated to his parents, how did he end up in a prestigious school like U.A, how is he constantly severely injuring himself, how is connected and fighting the greatest villain in history? So Deku’s telling this story to his father to help fill him in on all the events that’s happened since he’s been absent. Which would be a dope twist of an ending and would keep Horokoshi’s promise of seeing his father by the end of the series.
Honestly that's makes a lot of sense him telling his father how he became the greatest hero

It could be Deku’s dad, since his mom mentioned he breathes fire and this mystery guy has a forced mouth covering and neck restraints. And all for one could have done something and maybe use him as a bargaining chip against Deku or for his quirk.
I think if anything this is the end chapters of MHA, but the birth of a potential series called My Hero. Prob a new protagonist or even a series of different protagonist stories featuring them snuffing out villains in their country city or town.
I first thought it might be that villain with that tooth dental quirk thingy but now that you mentioned the possibility of deku’s father, it might be that he lost his job overseas (or if that even is the truth) and remained in japan as a criminal. Him being wrapped around in what looks like he escaped from an asylum of some kind and that mask covering his mouth might make sense since its told that deku’s father has a fire-breathing quirk
Damn i forgot about those children AFO had. So he put those children in hiding away from the heroes.
So in this case they might be saddened at AFO death or he was put through experimentation in case another was needed to replace Shigaraki to steal OFA.
Who knows maybe they will receive the help. That Tenko never got in his time of need.

Here why i think it’s deku dad, mouth is covered his dad has a fire breathing quirk. The traveling thing could always be a cover up lie.
And along with that, it’s olny 5 chapters left it definitely won’t be another villain or a big back story.
Perhaps Deku’s dad will somehow finally finds Deku on the final chapter and it could go to timeskip during Deku and Class A’s graduation
Thought of this too randomly, but they wouldn’t just introduce a new character like a villian or afo victims at the very end, atleast very unlikely.
If we don’t see Deku dad before the series ends I’m gonna be so mad.

i think that yes this is a new villain more specifically a new all for one now if we look at his fingers they appear to be burn so i believe that he has the quirk bullet lasers also i don't think this new villain is going to have one quirk i think he will have two quirks like the USJ nomu so the other quirk i think he will have is muscle augmentation because why not now i don't think he is going to be that dangerous but he will still be pretty strong

I do think it's just a random kid, like Tenko wanting to be a villain. But a hero of the new class 1A will see him and reach out, telling the story that things can change. Hence Deku is the no1, even slow he can inspire hope and influence a new younger generation to reach out to neglected people

So either this is Shigaraki reborn or possibly another vessel that could have been used by AFO. I'm guessing Deku will be shown reaching out to them to show them breaking the cycle.

I believe all for one use that blood sample to create a clone of deku and that clone is now the new villain.

So it’s possible for it to be shigiraki. The guy we see die. But not it being deku dad? When in reality deku dad could’ve been a villain that was captured so deku mom lied to him and everyone and said that his dad is off traveling
there would have been no set up for dekus dad being the villain nothing backs it up other than fan fiction type theories of what people want dekus dad to be. there is more than enough context and evidence that could connect to the villain being a sort of clone of shigaraki or something given what all for one and garaki have done throughout the series that would make more sense and not feel like it entirely came out of nowhere
I don’t follow your hypothesis, but I admit it’s a very feasible one. My guess is that they’re tied to the #4 movie cast, Horikoshi does make the movie cast appear in the manga.
