I used this before elsewhere but I like to think of these 'post-War' chapters as being similar to the ending of 'The Batman' (2022). Because in that movie Riddler was like Shigaraki and the other villains, someone abandoned by society, who took to fear and violence to bring about change. And even when their attacks were halted, the respective heroes realized that change needed to be made on their part otherwise all of it will happen again. Batman, having to leg go of his vengeance lest he inspire more violence. And Deku, inspiring others to do their part instead of leaving the responsibility to others. It's not one on one I know, but it's thematically similar as I see it.

I’m SO GLAD Deku and Ochaco didn’t kiss or become in a relationship. Him saying to her you’re my hero is chefs kiss. They will obviously be in the future, the seeds are set but it’s not necessary now, like they both said, they can focus on love stuff after they graduate.

This was a VERY nice way to show that Deku has made a huge impact, he’s inspired the people of hero society, From new heroes to civilians, so that villians like Shigaraki aren’t as likely to show up again, because “we are here” Chefs kiss

And Horikoshi Sensei the GOAT has released another peak 10000/10 chapter, and man, with this, we only have one chapter left of My Hero Academia, and I’m going to be sure to savor it.

I know its bait but calling him a villain goes agaisnt what the ending of this story is trying to tell you

ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHAPTERS! Hori did a great job here! Izuku and Ochako having their moment! Feeling they couldn't save their respective villains from their pain. Sympathizing with each other. Although, I didn't like how Class 1-A just showed up out of no where and ruined the moment. I get it, it's meant to show that the class was worried about Uraraka too. But I think it could have been structured better. I say AFTER Izuku and Ochako have their little discussion, Izuku is walking her back to the dorms, and along the way, they see Class 1-A in the distance running towards them looking for Uraraka. That's my only problem. But anyways, of course I love how EVERYONE in Japan are becoming Heroes. Even normal people. It goes back to the beginning of the series when Izuku asked All Might if he could become a Hero without a quirk. It all comes full circle, and it geos to show, you *DON'T* need a quirk to become a Hero. Just lending your hand to help someone is good enough to save someone. Hell, Izuku did that in the beginning when he was trying to save Bakugou against that slug villain. He didn't have a quirk, but him rushing in and trying to save Bakugou was a heroic thing to do. Uraraka always being there for Izuku whenever he was in trouble was a heroic thing to do. The granny just giving her hand out to the young boy is a heroic thing to do. Helping someone in need, just being there for someone, makes ANYONE a Hero. Horikoshi did an outstanding job with this chapter! I can't wait to see how he wraps it all up. It's almost over.....

3:22 3:31 Deku becomes Ochaco’s Hero and Ochaco cries very hard when she grabs his hand and clings to him by telling him about Toga’s death until Class 2A arrives to check on Ochaco and they confronts Deku about his embers of OFA but when Granny saves a poor mysterious boy who was traumatized and 6:07 Deku and Ochaco both smile at each other after watching this and they could be dating as a hint

This pushes further into the fact that shigaraki can be considered a hero. Because if he did not do what he did, bro would still be trapped in the basement with his mouth stitched up. It would have been sick if we had gotten a backlog of shigarakis decay breaking through the basement. Or a scene of shiggy and deku fighting and the impact breaks through the basement. Shigaraki inspired deku to inspire others. Shigaraki is the savior of the people suffering in the dark. Cringe or no im saying it.

Dont know but, I guess my hero academia is the type of series to get a canon movie sequel, something like Naruto The Last. It will be pretty cool if that happends

We definitely need more Sequels and Spin-offs of MHA cause we need to the Lore get expanded.

I just hope it doesn't end up like Boruto Of course I doubt it because the Naruto series ended up in the hands of someone who was involved in the business aspect of the manga/anime rather than writing or art, and it looks like MHA will be left in the hands of people who are experienced in the art and writing side of things.

I feel like Ana's quirk is very similar to the quirk love. It might make sense why she could have been forced to be obsessed with dark might or even love him because then he'd be getting powered up by her quirk

I'm gonna have to wait until the final chapter drops to see if I'm satisfied ending my journey with MHA. Vigilantes sounds interesting, I've never read it. Maybe Horokoshi will do a horror manga cuz his art style would be perfect for it. That being said, I hope he gets some long overdue rest cuz he needed it years ago.

All I'll say is that My Hero wont be the anime I love unless there's a direct sequel. I couldn't care less about the vigilantes stuff. I want to see what happens to those crazy cracked kids we saw in that one episode. And of course, I want to see what happens to Eri.

The leaks from chapter 429 give Joki-Joki boy an interesting backstory. I'm not going to spoil anything but based on what I've learned, I think Joki should get his own story set right after the original series. I don't even care who writes it as long as it's canon.

A Vigilantes anime is the best place to start for a post-Horikoshi MHA. It does establish that a great series can be made without Hori involved. I actually would like to see more of the world beyond UA. Best part is Deku won’t be an overpowered All-Might figure that can resolve every problem/fight. Plus the world can actually change for the better without AFO lingering everywhere. However, I’m honestly more excited for Horikoshi’s next project. I think the school format of MHA held him back to a degree in the types of stories he can tell.

Well obviously Horokoshi can’t make it. The death threats, the health scares, I wouldn’t even want him to make it so he wouldn’t die early. Already lost Akira, not tryna lose horokoshi.

I would personally prefer a new generation type of sequel. With some of the current kid characters like Eri being the core of the new cast along with some completely new characters and the current main cast serving more supportive roles like parents, teachers, or just pro heroes the new characters would do field studies with

I guess… the ending was rushed since the end of the first war and Horikoshi isn’t even working on the new stuff. I mean he did rush it so why make more. Idk I’ll check it out but I’m not really excited for the ‘next chapter’ since the way things turned out

My guess is maybe just another manga exhibition. Demon Slayer had one after it ended, displaying tons of the original manga pages and art taking you through the entire story. That or vigilantes anime
