Anyone else like six hours into the game and still in the first area learning?
yea the whole game was a grind to me lol i put in like 20 hrs and never made it past the second area. But if you have patience, your builds could end up like this guys.
I spent all day playing it and only completed the main story line. Started over though to start from the beginning with some foundation of what I was doing.
@@silentmayan5427by main story line, do you mean just the story for the first area Tiltren? Because once you complete Tiltren there's harder areas in the game, but so far from what I've seen no actual main story; it seems like it's a Mercenary Sim with no plot to the story, just sandbox your way around and create the best band of mercs ya can.
I beat Tiltren, Vertruse, and am making my way to Arthes' right now

I’m at 15 hours mark and still in Tiltren. I restarted 3 times every time I learn something new, skill, class, ways to play etc. but I’m having fun for sure and taking my time.

Wartales is a beautiful game. I simply love turn based battles, fine tuning on builds, squads and all those aspects.
Have spent around 20 or 25 hours and I'm still in the first region. But I've restarted my first try after approx 9 hours to change my general approach and team composition.

its balanced, because the enemy needs to have their turn first before they die, since DoT is applied at the end of their turn. that means the enemy still has a chance to cost you 1 repair before they die, how unfortunate

Thanks, I have a guy with that axe. Got it from a boss commander. First time playing and find the secrets this game has is vast
well, usually you want your berserker to be a nuker, so you kill 1 target at least every turn, these bleeds are overkill however you put it, the default axe passive is enough.
if you want a REALLY "balanced" build, you go for lucilla+strategist. and at this point im worried why nobody ever plays it or makes video on it.
lucilla+strategist carried me through hardest diff EASILY. that way you attack every turn instead of every other turn.
So u attack one time with 2 guys in one turn instead of 2 attack with 2 guys in one turn. Lucilla applies only %135 damage not worth

It is pretty useless build. U need dead enemies not bleeding and dying after attacking enemies. There is no point got hit by enemies. Use alazar shield and captains bycocket. This way u can throw at least 2 autos on engaging enemy . If u have high damage, u can soloing 6 7 enemies before armor runs out. use perforating and one optional oil too for it

This weapon isn’t as good as the gear you forge. Always forge the gear, dump everything else.
The forged gear is worse...
(Maybe in the expansion)
The forged gear goes till level 13.
The Named, Legendary and even the normal rare drops go till level 14!
So armor and weapons are better.
All dropped weapons even some normal ones have MUCH better synergys than the forged weapons.
If you do more damage and fight better with forged gear ...i have to tell you SORRY you didn't understand the games mechanics and synergy system.
