Have you seen Thronefall? It's also a minimalist strategy game. It has a little bit of building, some tower defense, and some hero fighting. Very minimal micromanaging of resources and units. It's very fun, especially after a few levels.

I like the mechanics of this game, but am not a fan of the art style. I may check this out and see if the game-play is good enough for me to look past the art.

30:42 though the unit dying when the effect wears off is certainly a risk worth noting. They will come back if you win because of resurgence but you will lose the until during the fight if cast early

I envision an Ikari warriors dlc with Ralph, Clark, Heidern and Leona. As for gameplay improvements? Wishlist melee attacks with combat knife. Has synch.

I'm a fan of the original Metal Slugs so this was on my radar but I'm very mixed opinion on it. It's an OK indie-scope product wearing the style of a classic franchise.

Hitting a lot of Neo Geo nostalgia here with Metal Slug. Those things were SO expensive, but were the actual arcade experience. Thanks for these first look videos, Marbozir.

Well, a lot of defenestration was to be had today.

The writing seems pretty good. And I'm not much for lore and story and such.

You got corrosive damage which sloweer you down and damage your unit Corrosive damage seems to effect only on Tech units. Bleed, poisoning only on BIO units. Shocking may be both.. Thats why the Liberator was so slow in those 2 turns. These level 4 scorchers so powerful its the unit of the "space pirate" faction Sovereign Fleet you can play with them too in Early Access version from September 30th . 3 factions will be there. 5 in Final!

The Scorcher upradged one can shoot from close 2-3 units at once too ahh so its seemed killed your commissar and hit your 7. tier unit at once There will be factions like commander skills too later!

Every upradge give active or passive skill to a unit

Yes the Lizards ranged and better at daylight and cant shoot and weaker at night also there are a desert type from them too :)

No regenereate resurrects too little

With Shift button you can see the movement range for enemies in battles also with Ctrl you can make little size of units for a sec to see anything more better on a crowded battlefield
