  • Georgia wanted to convert my capital really badly. Even before I got my own Great Prophet.
Playing Kublai Khan of Mongolia, Deity difficulty, Steppe map (from Alternate Cartography mod, you can find it on the mod list below), standard size map, standard game speed.
    Mods I'm using: steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...
Also using Good Goody Huts (not included in the collection above): steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...

Screwed on starting location, religious invasion, early war... Sounds like one of my civ 6 games.

The mountains are kinda a blessing in disguise. I'm not entirely sure this war would've been possible without the chokepoint that exists due to those lakes and mountains

I got a lots of respect for Marbs but he needs to focus on winning this war may I suggest taking Granada ? Yes it has walls but get a battering ram and it becomes doable, still enjoying the series even if Marbs isn't.

City-states only grow when they receive envoys that increase their maximum level of envoys (except the first). For example, if player A has 3 envoys and player B has 1 (and no one else has any), the city-state has 2 tiles above its starting 6, because its maximum number of envoys is 3. Now player A sends one more envoy and the city-state gets a tile, because its maximum number of envoys is 4. Player B sends 2 envoys and the city-state doesn't get a tile, because its maximum number of envoys is still 4 by player A. If now player B sends another 2, the city-state gets 1 tile, because its maximum number of envoys is now 5 by player B.

So Marborzir one of the victory options as you know is to have the dominate world religion. But I have been converted into the ground when that is one of your starting options. It's like a slow moving tsunami. They never stop! When that starting option is not checked I have seen them using missionaries for scouts and spies. Theres one other possible game macanic that I'm not surr is a thing. But I think they will also use it when the dominant world religion victroy option is not chosen. That is hanging around a city and slowly converting a city with their presense. However that is much easier to deal with. I usually have a few apostles as my guard dawgs. The AI still tries to be persistantly sneakey but when they see a missionary coming for them when they are trying to sneak into yours. Their reaction is like "Sorry! Wrong house!!" Then they go elsewhere till they try again.

Dude, Marbs, you're really on tilt at the end of this episode. But having watched almost everything you've done on YT for about 10 years, I'm not mad at you for being so pissed. You've had some weird luck with not only Civ but XCOM, and others as well. Maybe it's time to get that hateful PC out of there and get a new one!
