Awesome set up! I’m grabbing these latest mods. This is just type of map and timing I was looking for in my next game. Except I was planning on doing Ghandi and waiting until the Industrial Age to start religious victory..

14:10 SE of the stone. Then sacrifice the stone for an aquaduct. You'll get the most land tiles possible that way.

Question for the community - are the mods he listed compatible with CQUI? I glanced through some of the threads in some of the mods but don't recall seeing any explicit mention of CQUI...
Hey I'm new to Civ 6, I'm really enjoying the game and your channel. Learning a lot, one thing I haven't figured out is when I spawn new cities they always have long times 30-60 turns to turn 1 build districts. Should I not be rushing districts and instead rush units or am i just not settling on enough production tiles?
I dont have Rise and Fall yet, idk if that changes anything

I like TSL map for rome, since it has a nice and safe bay and not to far from mountains and if you take europe civs it is not to big of a map either

Could you please NOT chop the stone near Antium then place a +2 industrial zone between the marble and stone, then add a +3 harbor next to the fish, which will make a+3 ind zone and +4 harbor

ThatGuy Man he’s on pc and he’s using a mod. Regular tsl earth is ass I know the uk is 2 tiles wide and America is 4 tall. Just wait until rise and fall comes to the switch then it should be a little better

So I guess this is having installed and enabled at least the "Good Goody Huts" mod he mentions from steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1515353751 (any others?) + Ruleset: Rise and Fall + Civilization: Trajan + Game difficulty: Deity (irrelevant?) + Game speed: marathon (also irrelevant?) + Map Type: True Start Location Europe (bottom right) + the only map size option "Standard"? I still don't get the same resources (no oranges south east of the start location, for instance); maybe you need to travel back in time to 2018 before some official patches that took that away?

His name isnt Trajan, its Trayan/Traian... in the countryes in south Europe J is prononced y or i

The Latin pronunciation of Trajan is “Trah-yan” and is therefore the correct pronunciation. It is spelt in Latin “Traianus” but when we Anglicise it we drop the “us” and change the “i” to a “j”.
Latin fun fact involving “i” and “j”:
We derive the month of January from the Latin word “ianua” meaning door. This is true, as January is the door or gateway to a new year.
“Ianua” is also pronounced “Yan-u-ah”.

Well, in English the j is pronounced /dj/, if he wanted to pronounce in Latin then he would say Traianus. I mean, your remark, it's as if the French were upset every time an English pronounce PariS, with the s pronounced. It's like Julius Caesar being pronounced /Sizar/ by the English or /Sézar/ by the French, it's not wrong, it's the way it's pronounced today in these languages, while of course in classic Latin it was /Caézar/ (Kaiser !)
You're exactly right. Usually I tend to pronounce it as close as possible to its origin (yes, I'm that asshole). I'm just clearly up the origin of the word, since it is the correct one (as they literally invented the word).

It's just about the original comment, he "shouldn't" be pronouncing Trajan another way because his pronunciation is good in English. Now if someone does a Rome let's play and pronounces all the names in Ciceronian Latin, that would be cool stuff ! I remember renaming on Civ 2 my Roman cities for them to be more accurate according to a map I had (Veies becoming Veii, Pompéi to Pompeii, removing the accent French puts on Jérusalem, Lutèce to Lutetia...)
